I’ve been playing sence beta. And it took a rly long time to get the hang of the grove and of the sylvari race.
I think that they, as a race, needs more distinction from the humans.
I’m not sure how, what do you guys think?

Also, it took a rly long time to understand what the city acctualy looks like. I’d like to see it beeing more beautiful and glowing, like the Mother herself! Some of the conceptart i’ve seen is amazing, and the city is just not.
What do you guys think?

like when your in combat but have your weapons stowed.

I’ve already seen half a dozen Scarlet look-alikes, especially since her hair became available. For a character everyone hated, people sure to love to copy her look, for whatever reason.

I’d rather not have Scarlet’s face so that at the very least there aren’t literal carbon copies of Scarlet running around.

No there’s not. Havent seen one in EU.

I agree we need more “angry” sylvari faces, or at least a few that are not so smiley and naive ones…. but i think the problem is the basic sylvari animation. When the character is idling – at least the female ones – it looks around curiously and smiles – and that’s cute but i want to make a character that is moody and doesn’t act like a child (i know, i know, they are kinda “newborn” persons). So their basic animation just might not fit the character i have in mind.

I like the new born idea btw, but we still need a serious face. I was asking for Scarlets Hair in this forum and we finally got it!
Dont keep me waiting for the face! It can’t be that hard to fix? (Plzplzplz)

Shin is wrong her face was released.
There is a face just like hers, while Caithe’s nose is large and has a bend in it- scarlet’s was small – I wish I had a picture of the face, the lips are heart shaped it’s one of the newer faces but it was not included in the recent reskin faces it was the one before that – the one versions that came with the bug eyes and no nose one, it came along with that

AH i have a picture of it— this is my sister’s Sylvari with Scarlet’s face. Since now they released her hair- you can create it – red hair and dark ?green? skin idr what she looked like exactly.

I like both their Faces. I’d rly like Scarlets face too. They Said pre-release that we where gonna be able to look like all the NPC’s pretty much. I hope they stick to that.

We need a angry face like Scarlets, i’m not at all a fan of the Female Faces we have. Especially not the new ones. When i try to make a sylvari, i make it 10-20 levels and Then i delite it cuz i just can’t be happy

Oh thank for list. I have the coat and sadly it looks nothing like the male version. Im always very jealous of how the t3 and sneakthief looks on blokes. Oh and the females OoW helm does nothing to hide identity :S. As for the actual topic. If you go OoW isn’t there a quest that requires you to dress as a pirate….I am sure there was. I kept my feathery hat on for those cinematics. So headgear must be possible.

Female is rly different. I wish they added more covered gear for females too

Might I just say, your thief looks awesome. May I ask what armour your wearing. I know the hood is OoW, but the rest matches it well. I have a bad feeling its another case of male medium looking cool and female version skrimping on material, lol.
Btw yes headgear would’ve been nice in the PS.

I dont know how many times this have been posted but i feel like its rly neccessary to talk about.
Some headgears rly needs to be in the Cutsceenes, like all the Blindfolds and the Asura headgear.
Charr T3 light, Asura T3 light (just like Zoja).
Make this optional please.

This is a bug where my Thief wore his headgear in a cutscene.

Optional running is a great Idea !!
The most important thing with MMO’s is that you’re happy with how your character looks! So: make charr running animation optional, make engineer hobosacks optional.

I made a mixture of Tybalt Leftpaw and Rytlock Brimstone!

He’s a warrior on SFR server!

Medium armor looks worse on Charr.

Which is really a shame, given the most iconic Charr class wears medium armor.

I was upset that I couldn’t make a good-looking Charr Engineer.

Mine is using temple karma armor, other than the tail clipping it’s pretty much perfect and exactly the kind of look I wanted.

I’d definitely like to see character sizes on the character select screen that are actually proportional to their in-game size. Not even charr-specific, just in general.
Doubly so in Personal Story cutscenes.

The way it is in the select now is horrible. It covers the whole screen, you can even see the pixels

It covers THE WHOLE screen, none else does that. Just scale them down to the same size as the Norn in the Select. Been waiting for that sence release

It it’s not about In-Game at all. It’s the select screen. So it doesn’t matter how short or tall your charrs are.
