As title says, nothing happens, whats wrong?

The Content is gunna be awsome, just that it’s been so slowly revealed. The day after i posted this topic, Anet started posting stuff, which is good. Looking forward to it!

From what I’ve seen of Heart of Thorns i like everything. Arenanet has Done an amazing job on what they’ve revealed to far. Though i think i’m talking for alot of us with this topic. We have so many dragons to slay and at the speed things are revealed right now we’re probably not gonna see all of them.
Don’t get me wrong, i’d probably want to do like you; take time to rly finnish things and answear “when it’s ready” to those who ask when.
But the game is rly for the players, right?

I have no knowledge about game design but pls just give some Content and fix the minor problems afterwards.

Believe it or not over thousands of dollars on Gems. Yes. 100% correct. Very sad in the eyes of some but I have a job that pays me money and I rarely use it on anything else so may as well on a game I love.

Yeah that’s why I’ve spent so much. I don’t smoke, or drink. So the money I would spend on that go’s on nice things for my family and me.

The reason is, i dont even know anymore, probably around 1600€ sence launch.

I actually don’t like the Engineer helmet here. Because, like much of the Engineer themed armour, it doesn’t mash well with leather armours, especially when you play norn.

I think it’s awsome, I’ve been dying to have it sence i saw it for the first time on announcement day!

If you look at the released images of the new trait system, you’ll see that it’s a circle around which you progress by spending Hero Points, each icon being a trait or other unlock. The “other” includes skins.

Hero Points will come from leveling and from doing what are currently called skill challenges, the blue chevrons on the maps.

Long ago the running animation for Human female was changed. I believe it was due to a bug (???). I remember however seeing a thread about it here on the forums. A dev responded that they were working on it. We still see the female running like males though. Will it return as the dev said? I’d like it to.

Will we have a new character select?
I’d love that. More like the one in EoTN where you could watch yourself from different angles.

since you can transmute ANY other profession specific gear to other classes and it has never been mandatory

It’s so boring when you have to press a character to see which profession it is. There’s no distinction.

I don’t get whats so “Impossible” about adding new pets, it isn’t exactly rocket science.

Impossible man.
Ranger is the most broken class in this game. After 2 years and half Anet hasn’ t fixed it.
My personal opinion is that they didn’ t put enough efforts to fix it.
So…I doubt they will add new pets for ranger couse they don’ t care about rangers and everyone knows it.
It’ s not stranger that in every point of interest episodes devs never use ranger…

There’s a point here. But i do like the idea of new pets!

I cant have a Charr because of how big they’re in the Character Select.

plz, these engineer skills.

Will they add a new character select where the Charr is not huge?
Will they restore the Human female running animation?
Will we get new faces and hairs?

I always liked the animations personally, for basically all of the weapons. Sometimes less is more, especially when you’re designing a game that can have dozens of people on-screen at once. If they took every class and embellished AoEs like you have Marks triggering above, you’re looking at a graphical nightmare.

Well, I disagree about graphical nightmare, The elementalist has really fancy spells and it works well. The graphics makes you ‘feel’ more powerfull

The Necromancers animations are quite poor. Death Shroud is really good but otherwise it leaves you wanting more.

Minions:
They dont look cool, they dont look scary, they look like little rats and the Flesh Golem looks like a turkey.

Marks:
Needs to be more impressive when triggered, add some particle effects. Perhaps like that utility skill Epidenic (the one which spreads conditions, right?)

Weaponskills:
I really like the warhorn skills and i like the Staff when it turns into a scythe. Otherwise we need more “black Life force effects”, and green stuff. Scepter is horrible, Grasping Dead urgently needs new animation.

I keep my hopes up for HoT

• New character select (where Charr isn’t HUGE)
• Headhear in cutscenes
• Tengu (probably wont be new professions)
• Many, Many new faces and Hairstyles
• More cultural armors
• Dungeons
• More WvW Maps
• More explorable Maps
• cheaper “transmutation charges”
• Fixed running animation for Human female
• Fixed some clipping issues with charr armor

Actually, they have. This statement was somewhat retracted in 2013 by Mike O’Brien. He hinted, in an interview, that expansions were a possibility . . . but not any time in the near future.

“We don’t need an expansion to pay the bills, and we’re not focused on an expansion right now. I won’t try and predict the future, maybe someday we will do one, maybe we won’t. But for now we are focused on the living world. We believe we can update the world and adapt the world in any way we want to through these bi-weekly updates.”
