Amazing idea Inkubus I would love to explore in your dungeons. Anet should watch this.
Yeah I imagine they won’t make such a huge change in one update. Should be a long term thing. But indeed there’s a lot of stuff we can think out there, I only hope the devs actually care about what we think and suggest and try to make something magnificent out of it.

Alright so this post is talking about getting Player Houses. Instead we can get Guild Houses… and Guild Wars with these Houses!
What if we made a city-like instance, where each guild member gets a chance to build his/her house and where we also have random npcs who “live” there, to make it feel like a real city. Next each guild member should be allowed to customize his house (garden, size, etc…). An example: officers get the chance to build bigger houses, the guild leader a city hall where he can reside.
Now… to combine this with the Guild Wars idea, we could actually use that guild instance to war between guilds. In that vision the main objective in that war would be to kill the other guilds Guild Leader or the Highest Ranked player in their team.
Maybe it should also allow an impact on the instance to be in a war, but only if each Guild is agreed to have a war.
Another feature I’d like is if you could actually bet on which guild would win that war!
Anet can develop a whole system around this. Please give me some feedback on this idea. Thank you!

Punishing people like this would decrease sPVP population not increase it…I’m happy you people care about sPVP but you’re being overzealous…
Instead of ostracizing these people you should instead take the time out to help them out, send a friendly tell explaining that tpvp is team based and he’s only hurting himself by hurting the team, instead of NOOBS LOL L2PLAY GETOUT
Instead of systems punishing people, we need systems which foster the PVP population , maybe mentorships which increase glory gain for higher ranked players.
If you’re not interested in helping new players don’t aggravate the situation.
Want to hardcore tpvp? I suggest you find a team, Pugging is just going to aggrevate you.
I wasn’t talking about kicking new players. They just shouldn’t allow one player to ruin all of it. I don’t see why anyone would stand at the WP and do nothing for a whole match, so that’s pretty much leeching and not really innocent.
Umm why don’t you just delete all the numbers then? Start with symbols all the way, just like they did in SPvP? For example:
1-10: rabbit
10-20: deer
20-30: …
and so on?
That way nobody really stands out. Also, I have 2 level 80s and I play in any area, just so you know not everyone is that elitistic. My thought was that these symbols would lead to elitism cause nobody else had symbols, but the guys with the champion or veteran icon.
I want guild towns.
It’d be an instance with several houses for the various guild members as well as buildings such as shops that contain vendors or crafting stations. There’d also be common buildings/areas with fun things to do such as dueling areas (something else that needs to be added as well).

In my experience it’s rather easy to find people to do a dungeon. Either ask your guild buddies or ask the ton of people standing in front of the dungeon entrance. Problem solved
That’s okay, but I think your suggestion would cause that experienced players wouldn’t invite the new players anymore cause they saw they were ‘unskilled’. Also if someone abuses this feature?

Lol you kidding… NO. What about new players? They need to get a chance to LEARN.
WvW should be about Honor, not wealth.
Sure, but the player must feel he’s actually accomplishing something. Imo it would be better if we had a little more effect on the WvW world so that we can actually mean something in it. Right now one moment a tower is yours, the next it’s gone by some invisible zerg that razed it down. Right now we can claim towers and the like but nobody even thinks about upgrading them cause it costs money. So instead if you earned something by owning a castle you would automatically start fortifying it to keep it and that way it would be way more persistent. That’s just my opinion, but I think it would be a great upgrade.
Nice idea. You have my support on this. I don’t know if they’ll ever do this kind of thing, cause it’d have to be real high quality to actually get in-game. But sure! If you think you can do it, please do! The more looks, the better. Engaged community members FTW

A title sure, and the champion idea is pretty much like the commander stuff. Makes it a bit too confusing, I’d stick with “level 80”, nice and easy.
That’s a L2Play issue Sirendor, anyone out of hotjoin has been taught to stand on node and 5 cap it, it’s like they think they cap faster or something.
Ultimately that gets resolved after the person realizes he gets more fun actually getting past round one.
I agree, but even if it is out of stupidity, they should put a harsh example by kicking those players from PvP for a while.
Support, you (and your guild) have to get some reward for claiming a tower. Server rewards don’t motivate anyone. It’s plain that the reward system in WvW isn’t sufficient.
Sucky Sucky = SPvP. We need things that stop leeching, stop ragequitting, stop high ranks to join in with low ranks, stop zerging, stop gloryfarming and the list is pretty much endless… it’s a mess.
Agreed, get more points for not following the zerg, get points for playing like you should.
Just yesterday I had someone in my tournament team who went leeching and made us loose 2nd round.

There’s hardly any weapon in-game that would suit the elementalists…
Finding a new weapon for them is fine to me. Something like runestones such as in Lotr perhaps?
But engineer would really need a weapon that makes him able to deal damage. The class has same armour rate as a thief and hits 5 times less… don’t think that’s appropriate. My max hits in SPvP are about 4k, using a Good Ol’ Bomb.
So either make the current weapons stronger or get us a high damage weapon type with slow recharge.

The reason above. If you pay 400 gems for a class kit, you’d be able to enjoy another class without a lot of effort or a lot of money. 400 gems = 7g. Speedleveling another character with crafting = 40g. That seems like reason enough to me.
Exactly Fishy, I’ve made my own post about this a day ago aswell and there are other posts out there that support the opinion that farming glory by zerging should be punished and instead reward players who play another way.
Well sometimes I don’t stand on the point but I just attack a base or attack somewhere they didn’t expect and then I don’t get any points for it, but I still put in a huge effort to tank 3-4 people the same time.
It’s hard to find any people for tournament aswell and it takes to much time for me. When I play I want to be able to jump into a match for 20 minutes and then stop after it. And I still want to play in style.
Instead of punishing those players, why not reward players for playing? Give these players a glory buff for playing matches without leaving, glory buffs for playing different classes, and so forth. Make these rewards valuable enough for players continue playing even if they know they’ll lose.
I like that idea and I support it. Give the ones on the leaving team a reward for staying.
It doesn’t matter who wins, it matters who shows spirit.

I’d like it if ranks went a lil faster.
They take ages cause you keep getting the same amount of glory for the games. It’s not like leveling in PvE, where the amount of exp scales up.
In SPvP you get like 150 glory per match, which isn’t a lot at all. Should be multiplied imo.

5g for level 80? That’s a joke. It’s 5 gold PER crafting discipline you level. And each crafting discipline only gets you 10 levels up. So you’d need to level 8 crafting disciplines for 40g. Looks like a big difference, so I support the class kit greatly.
Nice idea! I like it, cause right now there doesn’t seem to be any real reason why you would play SPvP.
No thanks… every class has movement abilities enough and we have waypoints. No need for mounts.

I completely agree with this point. I posted my own thread about not getting glory for playing strategically and they should really change it. Zerging should be punished.
