Hey there Iron! We just started our ‘dungeon run plan’, meaning we will be running both fractals and other dungeons from next week on. We also do some WvW, but we don’t really have WvW events up yet. I believe we have a teamspeak/ventrillo server, but you might need to make some arrangements with Bartholomew Roberts in-game, cause I don’t have the right status at the moment to settle such matters. The Old Boys [OB], a guild on the world Gandara, are looking for more members to join their ranks. Our guild is PvX-based, meaning we do not have a particular focus, but enjoy all activities, ranging from PvE, Story quests, Dungeons, Tournaments, WvW.
We’re also playing and unlocking Guild Missions (4 so far).
Our timezone = GMT – GMT+3

We are mainly casual players, although we have some hardcore players, who do play a lot more. The guild maintains a feeling of mutual friendship and cooperation. Every member is considered as an equal and has the possibility of climbing up through the ranks by dedication and skill. We try to get as much activity as possible and do not tolerate guild butterflies. We take both individual players and offers for merging.

- Missions: Guild missions award you 1-2 commendations, depending from the kind of mission, they also give you 2 rare items of your level and 50 silver for participation.
- Help: Our members help eachother, if you have questions or want help with that particularly hard quest just shout out and there’ll always be someone to help you out.
- Buffs: buffs are given through the week giving for example +10% magic find or +15% karma
- Fun: we also do fun events regularly: dungeons, fractals, world vs. world, spvp
- Social: our members like to chat while gaming, making jokes or telling what happened out there in harsh real life ( )
- Leadership: every member doing his best for the guild can become part of the leadership and earn the titles kingsman or brigadier
- Relax: we’re usually very relaxed and chill and will not force anyone to do things they don’t like, chill in front of the pc with your favourite drink.

Gandara was an isle in Elona, long before the awakening of dragons, called the Moon Fortress. This fortress lay just off the coast of Kourna and was ment as a last stronghold to ward off the feared Istani Sunspears. This didn’t bother these last at all and after laying waste to the proud Moon Fortress they invaded Kourna. Often, in war, only the victorious side is taken into account, but what about the brave men who stood on the battlements and kept off the Sunspear tides, what about switching the roles around?

The troops of Gandara relive this story of heroicism every day in the Eternal Battlegrounds. The Old Boys have taken their oath in defense of Gandara and they have been named as such because of their stern and hardened fighters, men and women alike, that would still bear a smile on their lips despite desperate odds. As a token we wear the Gandaran phoenix, who will rise from the ashes after 250 years of darkness.

We often fight forces that have 3 times our numbers, but we keep our watch atop our towers and keeps. We fight, we die. We’re Gandarans, in memory of the Warriors of Moon Isle. Join our ranks now and wave the phoenix banner high!

The guild has a core of about 60+ active players, a lot of them playing daily, others coming online on a weekly base. The ranks are as following:

—> Rank 2: Brigadier
—> Rank 3: Kingsman
—> Rank 4: Footman
—> Rank 5: Recruit

People who do not represent at all will get kicked: this measure is taken to reduce our guild to the core of players who are dedicated to the guild and the people in it.

The main target for us is to play the game as a group (not necessarily always, but a large part of the time) and have fun doing so! Therefore we do a lot of activities
