One knew in what gear i was how is this possible for him to know he told me an then left they can see what i wear kittene ???
It doesn’t really matter how it was possible. That they did it (if they did it) meant they were breaking the rules and can be reported.
Because Charr Titan Afflicted God Destroyer Dragon Wars 2 wasn’t very catchy.
You mean like weapon swap? That already exists
$120 a year to simply be allowed to logon and play your characters is greedy and dated.
Actually, without a discount now you would spend ~$120 for HoT and the locked story chapters.
$30 for HoT +$30 for all Living Story chapters = $120?
1. The keyphrase is ‘without a discount’.
2. How did you count the cost of all LS chapters? Last time i checked the full set cost 4000-5000 gems for a newcomer. Something has changed? Or am i mistaking?
8 chapters in LWS2. Soon to be 6 in LWS3. 14 chapters total. 200 gems each. 2800 gems total, not counting any discounts at all.
However, the compete LWS2 pack can be bought for 1,280 gems and I’m pretty sure that discount is always around, so I have no idea why you wouldn’t count it. Add the 6 chapters for this season and the total becomes less than 2,500 gems.

Maybe action camera isn’t in the tutorial because action camera didn’t exist when the tutorial for gw2 was made?
Action camera is explained well enough in some of the HoT adventures, if you care to know about it. I’m not sure why that one setting is a reason to go back and change the beginning of the game.
We will be doing a maintenance build today. Although you will see a “new build” notification in the game, no alterations are being made to the game at this time.
-Wiki
Why am i downloading stuff then?
By no alterations, they probably mean no visible alterations. I’m sure there’s plenty of stuff they can change in the gw2 code without it having a visible affect on the game.
When a group of 2 is reduced to a group of 1 (one of the two leaves), that group is automatically removed from LFG. Same as when the group fills up. No one has to remove it from LFG manually.
What cats? What hairballs? My home instance has never had any cats in it, and it never will have any cats in it. Unless I’m playing as my Charr alt, in which case it will.
Except these cats are accountbound, not soulbound. So if your Charr has them in the home instance, all your characters have them in their home instances. You can’t pick which ones have cats and which ones don’t.
I agree with you on the situational thing, though. It would be weird to reference cats if you don’t have any, or are completely unaware of it.
I think the OP is saying their charr would be the cat in their home instance, not that their charr has home instance cats.
Second to last episode next week. Not the finale.
well they have better stat if it is only cosmetic then i had nothin to say, if they do it like this- once u enter wvw your legy armor will have same stat as asc armor, then i have nothin to complain.
Both before and after you enter wvw, legendary armor will have the same stats as ascended armor.
Which patch notes? I don’t see any such change for today.
Looks like the OP is quoting patch notes from almost exactly 1 year ago.
LUL what ?!?!?

Note that 2016 is not 2017.
And why exactly should slow completely overpower quickness?
Because quickness is a more common and slow is less common.
This argument is absurd, by that logic then we should also claim that:
- Reveal should last for 10 seconds because stealth is more common and reveal is not.
Sure, go ahead and claim that. No one is stopping you.
Edit: Although the length of reveal isn’t the only thing that could overpower stealth. More classes have reveal than have stealth. Plus, as mentioned above, you can’t attack while in stealth. While reveal can be thrown into your normal rotation without slowing down your attacks at all.

The bottom line is this: Hype is nice, but we want results. Given what happened with HoT before and after, silence is the better course. The next expansion will make or break Guild Wars 2 . . . and there’s no getting around that.
Why they put themselves in this position in the first place, especially given their earlier success with a different model, is still beyond me. But here we are . . . and time will tell if they survive it. Guild Wars 2 is the MMO I’ve played the longest, and even I can see they’re in trouble.
Hype isn’t going to save them, but an amazing expansion might.
I basically agree with this.
yeah i can already see a forum post from MO “next week the second expansion releases” ~and trailer drops at the same time~
And no a great expansion wont save them if nobody knows about it or expects it…
Are you saying that if players aren’t made aware of future content six months to a year in advance, they won’t play it when it arrives? How does that make sense?
If the existance or the arival of content in the near future isnt made aparent to ppl then why would these ppl go out of their way to search for it. Especially if it flat out drops with no reall buildup behind it.
A giant advertisement 1 week before an expansion could be an equal amount of making apparent as the same advertisement 6 months prior, with the added benefit of it being less likely to have been forgotten. I’m not sure how build up without content makes an expansion more profitable.

I was too new to the game last year to really get into it, but I am totally excited about SAB this year! It is confirmed that it’s going to be here next month, right?

hmmm so the shovels are very rare?
the guild hall mine upgrade needs 50 shovels.
Depends on what you mean by ‘rare’. Can you farm 50 of them quickly? No. But those who spend time in the silverwastes (especially for the meta) end up with more than they need usually.
Like a lot of currencies in this game, they are only ‘rare’ for those in a rush to accumulate them quickly; they drop plenty often for those who are taking their time.
(I’m not making a value judgment about whether style of gameplay is better or worse — it’s a matter of perspective.)
I spent the entire day in SW today and you know how many shovels i got for doing it? I got a whole 8 shovels. If that is what you mean by “end up with more than they need usually.” I would suggest rethinking that comment.
Is it really important that they rethink it a year after they said it?
I believe that there are some in-game globes depicting Tyria as a sphere.
Like the mile high decoration known as the globe of whispers.
They must be fakes, though. There are invisible walls all over the place that were built by the aliens to prevent us from falling off the edges of Tyria. Ain’t nobody can deny it.
If they mean flat as in not a globe and hollow as in large empty spaces underneath the Tyrian surface that are capable of supporting other civilizations, then yeah. Might as well be flat and hollow. Idk about the moon though. Never been there.
There’s a lot of people with little experience. Have you tried creating your own group to include others of similar level? Have you tried joining a raiding guild for players in a similar situation as you?
OFC!, thousands of times, just to get BRAND new players… that havent even seen videos on the mechanics… and we need 10… 8 at least… just to fail over and over and over… thats why i gave up.
Did you try explaining the mechanics of the fight to the brand new people? Or just wing it? Brand new people are unlikely to be willing to watch every raiding video ever made, especially since that isn’t necessary for any other content in the game.
Yes sir… ur treating like a noob… i explain every single details blue, green circles , condi setup, healing, tank, etc… u name it. i just dont get good players or at least NOT fast learners…
In that case, I apologize. Maybe next time try posting a requirement in lfg of at least 4 LI, to weed out all the not fast learners. Should work perfectly.

Confirmed
Why would you pay $20 for one vista?
I’ve seen complete raids form just to earn a hero point. In fact, the only way to do anything without undue hassle, seems to be to move in packs of 10+ players.
Those aren’t complete raids. They’re usually one person tagging up to show new people around/collect hero points. Not just one hero point, mind you, usually most if not all of them in the map. Those groups aren’t something to be angry about or avoided. They’re a pretty fun way to complete the expansion content, imo. Now, you don’t have to join those groups. I did most hero points on my main classes without them. But if you’re having trouble or think the mobs have too many hit points and you don’t have enough, join a “raid”. This is an mmo. People are there. Use them.
So basically you dislike the entire game?
Elite Spec weapon usable for other character?
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Skittish.4539
Since it’s ascended, yes. Any of your characters that can equip longbows can equip it.
Suggestion 1: delete any player who makes the above suggestion.
Suggestion 2: empty recycle bin soon after finishing suggestion 1.
I could be mistaken, but I’m pretty sure dungeons are allowed to be entered by free to play accounts. That, combined with the fact that Anet hasn’t done anything at all with dungeons for a very long time means that you really didn’t spend money for this and the dungeons aren’t currently part of the “pay to play” of this mmo.
I spent money for this, kitten me am I right
You paid extra for dungeons?
Guild Wars 2 is the vanilla and hot is umm something not what tho . and the

HoT is broccoli flavored, of course.
I’m a new player, don’t have an 80 yet. Reading the forums and reddit it seems HoT is ‘L2P or GTFO’.
Still enjoying the core game, but not looking forward to HoT.
That may sound harsh at first, but really, isn’t every game “learn how to play or stop playing”?
Ignoring that, in every type of gw2 content there is the third option of “get carried” :p
balance updates has proven that this is not a game worth spending a dim.
oh you mean the updates tha made more classes viable dps’ except from ele and condi ranger?
condi ranger dont need more damage its already a good conid burst, nor elementalist is in need of more damage, still they didnt adressed what needs to be adressed.
When ic some one saying viable dps i imagine that person screamming “i want to be carried by dps”.
Have you ever really heard someone scream that they want to be carried by dps (whatever that means) or is it all just imagining? That doesn’t exactly sound like something worth screaming.
Did you wait for the timer to go down?
That entire example confuses me. In addition to your points, why are a and b healing you for more when they’re together? It isn’t supposed to stack. Then when a expires, b is healing for the same that a did by itself, even though b has more healing power.
They don’t heal you for more together, B heals for more because it has higher healing power.
The duration of regen stacks so you get the full amount of both sources sooner or later. Don’t worry about when the regen ticks, just know you get the full duration of both sources.
Oh, now I get it. Cool
You have an odd definition of mess.
1. I get a lot of hidden achievements without outside help.
2. At the current pace, no one is ever going to reach your suggested cap. Also, if and when someone did reach it, a cap wouldn’t “fix” anything. It would just make all future achievements pointless to those people. Which sounds like breaking the achievement system.
3. Help what? huh?
Stabilize the Rift sounds good, but the Nearby Event Icon that is only visible in the Map disappears if you turn the compass off.
Anyway, I’m new to the game, how I would activate the Stabilize the Rift event?
Jump through an activated rift in fields of ruin. You’ll fall into a pond. Go to the bottom and find an item with question marks. Grab it. Go to the shore and circle the outside of the pond looking for the charr guy. Go through the whole dialogue with him. He’ll give you the device. Then you can activate the event by clicking on the device when near those empty markers.
Is it Easter already?
zerk gear is the only gear to use no matter the class or player is zerk and only zerk
Except for druids, along with anyone else who feels like wearing other gear.
Jormag may have been the one doing the attacking, but I bet it was Caudecus who gave him their address. That dirty snake.
The world in GW2 always felt more like a studio set for a sitcom than an actual world to me.
-Boxed maps that are like individual rooms separated from each other.
-Lighting that looks like spotlights and reflectors.
-Static sky for each boxes that look low and feel more like a ceiling than infinite.
-Wild life that seems to be placed like they’re cardboard props that only moves if you walk too close.
-Static weather unless in very specific time and places.
-Night that look like they only put a filter over the main spotlight.
-Sounds that are over processed and feel fabricated rather than natural
-NPC with megaphone during certain events.Adding to this their new trend of making maps that work on timer or VB with its nights that don’t match the world and it makes the feeling even stronger.
In what way does VB night not match the rest of the world?
GW2 is a dead game, what’s the point if Anet dont care about their game?
There is nothing we can do about it when the devs has given up.
I’m done with this kitten game.
Yeah, it feels like it was just yesterday when Anet was fixing bugs for a dead game they couldn’t possibly care about. How times have changed.
I can’t tell wen i don’t see the champions real number of health an most of all this must be there this day i play fractals an i have see 3 different value numbers whats the logic to give me up an down numbers an not the real one this is stupid.
Just because they aren’t permanent numbers , that doesn’t make them fake numbers. They’re still real.
I am not trolling as i say the last day i make fractals with 3722 health an this day with 34826 did i miss this health is this the total health of my champion i don’t know people say i don’t lose the total health( what is the total health) wen i can see the real math everything is wispers in the dark is this effect thge game play i don’t know as long i cant see the his reall solid build health i can’t say or believe anything.
Both numbers are equally real.
This day i have done fractals with 34826 health an the other days i have make fractals with 37222 health this looks logic to you.
It looks very logic if you accept the fact your exact stats aren’t completely your personal choice. The game has its rules, live by them or die and stuff.
My guess is that the each new Living Story release will have the Frozen Exotic Weapon Fragments, at least until after the next expansion, with Holidays having their own item. So I’m expecting it to switch between Holiday and the current Living Story items as each comes up.
I’m not sure each Living World Season 3 Episode release will have Frozen Exotic Weapon Fragments, unless each successive map has a frozen section with the requisite Vendor.
Otherwise, it might be considered Pay-to-Win as it would ‘force’ players to purchase Episode 3. (I understand that might be a minority of players [game new-purchasers/returning players], at first, but knowing the playerbase, it would be and issue that would be discussed.)
It forces people to purchase HoT to use these items so its already p2w if you’re going to use that argument.
Since we will be heading further north closer and closer to Jormag I’m sure the areas we will be going into will be icy and Frozen Weapon Fragments will remain relevant.
I don’t see why a vendor would be needed in each map. Why can’t they go to the vendor that’s already in game? Is there some reason why it would need multiple vendors?
The current lack of a pattern in the 3 new zones we’ve seen this season suggests that farther north and closer to Jormag may not happen this season at all. Unless you know something we don’t.
The last guild chat was last month.
