By the looks of it mag is going to go back and forth between t3 and t4. We get owned in t3 and do the owning in t4. This is not good.

Well ALT F4 was the lowest anyone could go in WVW, so if someone is doing something similar, with the same outcome, id like to just let everyone know. I wont lose sleep over it, but at least the guild will have to put up with being associated with it as long as they have people who keep doing it.

Downed alt f4 = repair + waypoint payment where ever that guy is. Which is much more expensive than dying – getting repair.

Excited to change things up, really want to finish up my Explorer title not gunna happen with FA Let’s keep it civil folks and see some great fights.

My predictions for the forums this week…

Friday : Everyone starts out being polite and sharing how fun it will be for some different competition
Saturday : “something about great fights with that one guy from that other server and I had a lot of fun stomping you over and over”
Sunday : Threads quiet, everyone running dungeons for a day
Monday : OG has now established their dominance on the forums as the best small guild EVER, constantly reminding any posters from other servers that they’re willing to fight below SS camp. Members of EB and CD begin to post videos where they claim “Bunzy ran away” from a fight… Bunzy denies.
Tuesday : “something about any party larger than 6 people is a zerg”
Wednesday : Paralda tries to calm everyone down but it doesn’t work and thread get’s locked.
Thursday : Every time someone loses a fight it’s because Shadow Refuge still screws with culling and they were zerged. Argument ensue, Paralda tries again to calm everyone down, doesn’t work, second thread get’s locked.
Friday : Everyone is bored with the matchup and looking forward to reset. A handful of congratulations are given out and a few more people claiming “Bunzy ran away” … Bunzy again extends offers for “fair fights” below SS camp after reset… no one agrees.

I think that pretty much sums up every Mag thread over the past month, so I’m guessing we’ll see similar.

Let us hope this is not true. And maybe focus on screenshots/videos of good fights.

IMO YB and Mag in this tier would likely be a more fun match up since both Mag and YB are NA prime servers.

Unfortunately, that’s unlikely to happen unless a new force rises from below. That’s unlikely!

That is true but it would be a better matchup nonetheless. I am afraid many in Mag will get bored in NA prime and CD/EBay will get frustrated and check out after the weekend. At least twice this week in NA prime we couldn’t even get enough players together for a breakout event on EB.

Man, this reminds me of me and my buddy, just two of us making rams, and resupplying from a far away corner of the world, then seeing our rams destroyed by the time we are back >3<

We don’t really troll when on the winning side. It usually means we outnumber everyone so hard it sucks as much for us as it does you. I hope this round doessent end up that way.

We’ll put up the best we got.

If it does end up becoming a steamroll over us, there will be plenty of organized fights and sieges to go around for fun.

Well, this is how WVW is designed. More WVW players = more score in WVW.

But my problem is – and I half think this is just how warriors feel in play – that he’s too kitten killable at low level. My warrior is only lvl23 and I’ve been getting offed way to much. I have no survivability and soloing annoys me.

I’m not used to playing melee. My first main was a Mesmer, then I got into a gunner thief. I’ve been wanting to melee but this is proving to be frustrating.

Any suggestions, good people?

Try using sword warhorn/riffle for lowbie lvls it is fun. And will breeze you through till lvl 80. At least for me that is what i did.

85% crit chance (with fury) 250% crit dmg
Bleeds from autoattacks, sigil of earth and 33% trait

Mag will be running it in NA primetime w/ CD running it while we all sleep

CD hasn’t done particularly well in oceanic/EU for the last couple weeks at least like we used to. Most hours of the day CD feels deserted and rarely has a commander on all the maps or even on EB for a big chunk of a day. Its become a weird server or maybe that is how T4 servers and below run.

As for pikens. Your remaining loyalists will make your World strong. Reminds me of Crystal Desert, where I am now. Many jumped shipped with the diseased paid transfer plague came to pass. But the remaining kids are – strategy wise – better. Though we can’t really stay strong at all times due to lack of man power.

It is not pointless, which also saves on your resources. If this is your playstyle, it is okay.

Try it in SPVP so you get the feel. Or WVW. Most of my experience is wvw based; so that is where my bias lay. The reason why i suggest SPVP is so you can arrange the runes/ item type – etc. because it is free there, and you don’t need to spend anything.

I’m not particularly concerned about damage to be honest I was more looking for a mobile build with survivability and support capabilities. Of course I would like to have some damage but it’s not really my focus

What matters is you are having fun; so you will probably start with the knight set, and if you have enough money – you will mix match gears. SPVP may also serve as your template as to what armor/runes/sigil. try it out there.

Or you can have sword shield as your alternate weapon – because of combo quick running away through leap and defense provided by shield. This works well with any and all weapon combinations of Warriors from axe axe to to sword warhorn

Hey folks! Started with warrior as my first character but hit 80 and seemed to hit a wall. Watched other warriors around me take damage that would two shot me and haven’t been able to figure out what I’ve been doing wrong. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! In other words, how do you guys do it?

Some info on my build/armor:

Full P/V/T Gear (Weapons, Rings, and Ammy included)
Full defensive build (Went with healing banner style)
Tried out all sorts of weapon combos

2. Rendering issues – so it is not just one warrior attacking you but a battalion of passing zerg.
3. … if you build it right, i think you can face tank 3-4 ppl easy. Not kill them, but they won’t kill you unless you’re new to… dodging and running away.:3
