yeah, sorry to be right mate about that drives stutter issues mate
Seagates short sighted design…. well if i designed it, i would’ve put atleast 32GB’s of nand on it instead of only 8.
and since you didn’t even post what you did to resolve it, i’ll continue to call absolute BS on it.
its always done this.
and why would, i wonder, the log include your specs.
maybe because you don’t :|
It is possible there’s an extra version thrown somewhere, or it may be loading the version from System32 instead of SysWoW64
Not even possible. any attempt by a 32bit application to access System32 is automatically redirected by WoW64. the only way for a 32bit application to access the 64bit folder is to try reading c:\windows\sysnative. Anyway, if it was reading the file from the 64bit folder, it would fail to start with an invalid win32 image error message.
erm, no, the 680 was definitely released before the 690, since the 690 is 2 underclocked 670 gpu’s….
upgrade your nvidia display drivers
well, it wouldn’t be such an issue if the configuration was kept seperately to the local.dat, but since it is :< i’ve resolved to having to set the graphics and sound sliders back up after each major update.
any time i’ve left the local.dat after a major update i’ve loaded in either had one of the following
*black screen
*hung sound
*game soft freezes opening a config menu

both of you are using windows XP
the game client is reducing Texturing levels as higher shaders are used to keep the game from crashing.
did you have EVGA precision or MSI Afterburner open during your most recent driver udpate?
you might have to fully uninstall it, including the settings.

Artifacts or TDR?
might be heat caused by dust buildup?

i don’t see this, check that your mouse software hasn’t set anything to modifier keys
the launcher is actually an embedded flash applet, so updating your display drivers would be a good start.
after that, would be making sure windows is up to date, and that your RAM isn’t running at automatic settings.
my 920 @ 3.8 and 680 can usually get 60fps in LA, as long as no events are on packing the place with tree’s and fog.
some parts of Lions Arch are just heavy with weather effects for no real good reason.
dual gpu cards being the exception, no single gpu cards exceed 14a.
where multirail psu’s are concerned, the system and aux rails are usually completely seperated from the accessories and pci-e rails.
A GTX680 will use 16.25A at full power (195W) but you are correct in that the majority of graphics cards will be below this value.
Well, thats an exception again. True many 680 users do actually modify the power target, but for those who just care to game, it would actually be at 14a because the typical power target caps out at 90%, or around 170w

What makes you think it isn’t heat related?
Black Citadel has a lot of fog and smoke that requires a hefty cpu to push out to the gpu

screenshot the error by pressing alt+prtscrn and paste it into paint, then save as a jpg
REPLACE YOUR MEMORY WITH A MATCHED SET.
seriously, i don’t know how many times i see people doing silly things like running mismatched timings and voltages and expecting it to work properly.

you actually lose very little settings by deleting local.dat
and you should delete local.dat any time theres a major update anyway >.> it prevents alot of issues.

Part of the issue with the momentus xt is the firmware itself handles idle/power management, So it is simply impossible to make it work for all users in every case. Should it be the momentus, it would be the fact the disk platter is spinning down during periods where all the data required is cached rather than be spun up and ready to access the next lot of data.
Seagate did poorly by not providing the drive with a configuration utility to adjust such function from the operating system.
the AMP requirement specified by nvidia/amd is for the overall system
the card itself won’t use the entirety of 25a.
most recent cards require less than 15a
this actually seems difficult to reproduce, as it doesn’t happen for everyone.
the deluxe benefits will be delivered to you via ingame mail.
the mystfire wolf ability will be unlocked at level 30

Litak, im afraid your integrated graphics processor is well below the minimum requirements.
not to mention it has a ton of issues caused by certain hardware features not being supported in-hardware
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Squall Leonhart.2075
the chip in that processor is based on the HD2000 (dual channel desktop i3 – i7)
GuildWars 2 minimum requirements is a HD3000+ (quad channel desktop i7)
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Running_the_game
downloading and running the driver package @ http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3319&DwnldID=22375 might help.
i was incorrect earlier in claiming that the 2000 had issues, it is the same architecture as the hd3000 so the driver update should fix things.

neither did the stuttering for all the other Momentus XT owners.
contact seagate and ask for the SD26 update.

Examined 228431 of 228431 files.
Found 8 bad files.
Skipped 2 files (local files, different versions, etc).
alright, then in that case, i’m not actually experienced in dealing with that error, or the fixes involved but some of the solutions from Steam Support involve
Reducing the amount of opened or mapped files (by removing hdd’s or disabling Antivirus utilities entirely)
Disabling any drivers that are enabled but not actually in use (Network, bluetooth and audio devices)
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5034-EIPV-6426
Another more involved method requires editing the registry to force a higher default pool limit, this requires downloading windbg, process explorer and XP debugging symbols so you can actually read the Memory pool values in process explorer (that parts a pain).

Before this turns into a total flame war…
@Tilrune, that graphics card you linked is the 2GB version of the GTX 650Ti. Personally, you won’t need the extra 1GB of RAM that card comes with. If you want to spend about 180 on a card:
Would be awesome if it was in stock (not sure if you want to wait for it)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133470 -GTX 660Or…
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500275 -GTX 570
After the rebate it’s got a pretty nice price.Edit: AND you get Duke Nukem! I’d buy the card just for the sake it comes with Duke Nukem (sarcasm)
1GB is easily usable on these video cards, so 2GB would be a boon.
So you basically wasted time with applications that one trip up a vdroop execution instability.?
DNS to fix a freezing computer? amusing resolution. better not try running a youtube video, lest you freeze the computer again.
in the case of guild wars 2, that 1090t doesn’t even escape low end.
was the bsod 0×0000008e?
given you’re on windows XP, it’d likely be a bad pool header or pfn list corrupt issue, which occurs mainly because XP’s driver pools are sometimes not detected properly at start.
didn’t have any reports of corrupt files in my case, the towers to be destroyed just didn’t appear until destroyed. almost like the mesh data wasn’t wrapping the textures properly.
Same game, different servers; lag on one and no lag on other. No way that’s my ISPs fault.
Impossible conclusion, the servers aren’t all necessarily hosted in the same location.
