If it is some kind of exploit I would suggest sending the details to ArenaNet.
Last I knew, there was a third party program that made it impossible for you to even damage them while they were in downed state.
I use the wonderful downed state skill vengeance, but it isn’t good for anything else.
this sound like BS but today me and other guy downed a ranger and we stomped on him like 5-6 times and nothing happen, we also damage him and nothing either, lol he just just revived and used GS #3 i was like wtf, let give it the benefit of the doubt and say it was lag but if things like this are happening that is not fair. The ranger was from blackgate which i heard have lot of hackers and cheaters so i think that explain a lot

It was nothing BG or SoR started. You may wish to check the title of this thread. BG and SoR focusing JQ was the only rational reaction to aNet’s incomprehensible draw and sullen silence.

One way to eliminate or make zergs act more life like would be making AoE target agnostic…meaning a meteor shower should actually hurt anyone in the AoE area friend or foe. Same thing as a warrior/anyone wielding a great sword…spinning wildly in the middle of a group of people should kind of hurt everyone in your path…don’t ’cha think?
Then people would have to actually think tactically instead of fat fingering every skill on their bar wildly in the hopes of doing some damage….

So why are the biggest complainers BG and SoR? If y’all are so big and bad, schedule means nuthin….JQ is in third at this moment…but only by less than 10,000…and that is with both y’all pressing us on all fronts…y’all skared?
SoR and BG trolls complaining they don’t the the chance to double team JQ through the first season. Poor servers will have to fight each other….makes me laugh my kitten off…keep qq’ing LOL
Repair bills add up if you die a lot..but yes, death is to expected in WvW. Sometimes you have to make a stand against incredible odds to buy time for your World, that, IMHO is what makes WvW awesome.
I love how many are saying JQ should be in here kittening about the schedule, and I have to say I think we would be if we hadn’t been double fisted this entire week- If you guys had put on an actual fight instead of 2v1 the whole time, JQ probably wouldn’t be irked half as much at the current match up, and be more willing to come in and say hey, let’s change this. As it stands, I think we just want to watch you bash heads against one another for a bit.
In any 3 sided battle, 2 are going to focus 1 for a considerable portion of the contest. WvW is designed that way, drawing on the lessons of WAR and DAoC. It’s math and strategy.
Bear in mind that JQ comfortably won the last BG/SOR/JQ match and blew out their game against BG. JQ also has welfare run in S1 from the draw. It makes historical and strategic sense to focus JQ where possible. It might also help in JQ stopped paying its competition’s guilds to transfer over.
Regardless, JQ should be here in numbers asking for the season to be redone. Not necessarily because it would be a true test of everyone’s coverage, resilience and organisation. Not necessarily because it will result in the best fights. Not necessarily because it will reduce the ‘boring WvW blowouts that were complained about last week. But – if nothing else – to avoid tarnishing the S1 title they’re more than capable of winning on their own merits.
BG and SoR both have trouble with JQ on their own…they are much better as a couple against us…sorry if the truth hurts y’all.
LOL…classic 2v1 just finished in BGBL…SoR and BG assaulted Dreaming Bay…JQ fought valiantly…awesome fight against incredible odds. Thanks guys for the bags!

- When JQ loses its because the other servers are double teaming and pugs are blocking queues

Do you deny that SoR and BG double team JQ? I have seen zergs from both fighting side by side attacking JQ…just saying.

Yeah oops, sorry, I meant “guaranteed to win this league”. there was a reddit post that talked about the math of this match-up and made some assumptions, concluding that JQ was guaranteed to win it all from the beginning.
Aside from Friday at release, all of our same commanders are leading… >shrugs< And I’m on one of the highest population servers. WvW has been pretty amazing once in. Enjoying it a lot!!!
That was one of the core reasons that they broke Obsidian Sanctum off of EB (yeah, you still have to que up for EB to get there, but you are removed from the que once you jump through the portal to Obsidian Sanctum.
I find it humorous that a warrior wearing a ton of armor (that allow them to be tanks) can move so fast…tell me how balanced that is!
There should be trade offs for heavy armor versus medium armor vs light armor…one of them (aside from the protection (or lack there of) should come mobility issues.
How about an Ele running around in a dress. You don’t see that at the Olympics either.
How much protection does an Ele’s dress give compared to a Warrior’s Steel/Iron?
Don’t get me wrong…90% of the 15,000 kills I have in WvW are ranger inflicted. In group combat my ranger tries to stay out on the fringe of battle raining arrows…or tossing axes (if my team is pressing). I’d like to see my pets survive longer…or maybe have banners get destroyed as fast as my pet does.
I noticed the lag as soon as I entered WvW…no zerg in sight and my skill bar was flashing…huge battles were frustrating….even spamming 1 was delayed (worked 1 time out of 4-6 presses….forget about using any other skill…like healing your self.

I guess I am totally incompetent….over 15k kills in WvW and I constantly get owned by thieves.
Maybe your build isn’t suited for beating them. There is no such thing as a perfect build!
Perhaps. I’ve asked it in other forums…what ranger builds will allow equally skilled Ranger vs thief a 50-50 outcome? The non-answers and answers all say the same…there is none.
