If that’s the argument you wanted to make you should have said that from the start instead of posting one of the most worthless videos I’ve ever seen as if it was some kind of proof that rangers are broken.
I suggest giving up on this failed thread, organizing your thoughts and trying again when you have a clear idea of what you would like to see improved.
+1. Totally useless thread, and that video…seriously ? Nuff said.
The question OP asked was if everyone is happy with the current gearsets.
As it stands now, this results in a discussion about the use of gearsets, in particular the berserker set being dominantly present and used by a lot of players, especially in light of the dungeon speedruns.
As someone said before, there will always be a “meta”, always be an optimal set or gear. While this is true, it can also be countered by the designers if they wanted to, and that is by implementing a different ‘instance’ design.
… but i’m fine with the current system. No need to ’’fix’’ something that isn’t broken. Every single gear set is viable, there is only 1 that can be optimal and it will always be like that. Whatever anet do…..
In part, this is correct, but Anet can change that. It would however require a lot of design changes.
I’d also like to point out that the beserker stat combination is ONLY optimized for PvE dungeon speed runs. In every single other game mode, the stat combination is considered sub-par and is rarely used in optimized play
I added the bold, since it’s really the only place where it matters.
And it is true, the berserker setting is the most used one in that instance alone, because in any other environment, it has serious drawbacks.
- in WvW, it sucks. Those that claim otherwise don’t know what they’re talking about.
- in PvP, well, don’t get me started, but only serious builds (traits/skills) can pull it off.
- in general PvE roaming and on WB’s it can be used oc, but survivability is an issue there. Plenty of times that zerkers have to distance themselves from a worldboss or are downed constantly (Jormag/Teq), which in turn diminishes their dmg contribution.
We have to face the simple fact that all gear (with a few exceptions in my personal opinion) is viable, but this doesn’t mean it’s in certain places desirable.
But am i happy with the gearsets ? Pretty much, yes. Most i won’t use, but it’s nice to see you have choices. I have a Berzerker, Valkyrie and Soldier, and they work just perfect for what i want them to do on my diff toons. As long as i’m happy, it’s all good, whatever the ‘meta’ currently is.
Most consider the LB the better weapon, and honestly, for the most part it is. But for me, i “prefer” the rifle in certain situations and because it looks bad.ss.
And really, who doesn’t like to smash a mob in the face when it’s to close for comfort… i know i sure do
Ranger isn’t the worst class nor the ‘best’ class out there, but it’s a class that’s rather fun to play.
Pro’s :
- great combo’s of ranged and melee weapons, plenty of choices
- pets : deal a significant amout of dmg and can act as tanks or debuffers or buffers
(condi clean, giving might,…etc)
- lots of trait choices according to build : tank/dmg dealer/surivival build/…
- ranged. Best part about it really.
Cons :
-not asked a lot on dungeon runs
-can be a bit of a pain in survivability in certain instances (full zerk, lower hp)
-pets cannot be completely disabled
As a zerk ranger you’ll deal plenty of damage and will mostly take mobs down before they reach you. If in melee range you can always weaponswap (like in the video).
They do pretty well in WvW (depending on build), but can also easily be taken out if they’re not aware of their surroundings.
They’re also pretty good on world bosses because of their range and their healing spring (just take a look at Jormag/Teq positionings)
I think you will find a ranger a challenge but quite easy to play once you’re used to it.
Have fun.
Personally, i would say this :
- forget about elite basilisk venom, you’re better of with daggerstorm or the thieves guild.
- use signet of malice : heals when attacking
Until you are more “familiar” with your new thief, remember this :
-thieves are squishy. You can use different trinkets that give you VIT to increase your survivability while you explore the world with him/her. That should give you enough time to get used to the skillset and see what you like.
- dodging + evading are your friends.
- in between heartseeker (your best skill imo with signet of malice on) you do a double regular attack to regain initiative
- you might want to consider using caltrops with its corresponding trait to regain hp when it hits. Pretty awesome.
I’m sure there are plenty of good/expert thieves that can give you a more in depth or sound advice, i’m just stating some obvious points.
Hints :
- toughness > 1.2K at least
- kiting : snares / slow / chills (use staff)
- absorb the burst with Death Shroud
- If thief goes into stealth : bomb area.
When thief uses his steal go into shroud and use fear.
That should give you a better chance, a slim one, but at least you have one.
p.s. : necro has one of the highest hp pools in the game, esp in shroud, use that wisely before a thief or any other class bursts ya. So anticipate.
If i understand correctly, you’re saying that a thief is a melee class but has medium armor and no skills to help in pve-melee ?
1. while thief is a melee class, they have plenty of skills to aid them in battle.
2. dodging, evading….. sound familiar ?
Those are the things that make a thief better, and if you cannot survive long enough to take down mobs or bosses, then you should think about using a different gear setup or choosing different traits/skills to play with.
Thieves are squishy from the get go, but you can adapt to that or change their setup so they have a better chance.
Rangers can do melee, and they have the same armor set. I don’t see them complaining about having ‘only’ medium armor.
i was lmao when reading. It seems to be a typical ‘disease’ amongst players (not only in this game) NOT to read description correctly or at all.
A casual run should be just that, but apparently you also came across the illiterate morons who fail to have a basic concept of ‘casual’.
Hilarious really.
End of discussion and we all can go home, really…
You mean, we can all stop playing.
IF this would be true :
The problem I see is that a lot of people run around with useless crap, taking time to kill an enemy sometimes 4 or 5 times longer than with other gear
…which in fact is nearly impossible, since for that you really need to mess your character up big time.
I simply love the different gears. Not because they are really viable, but because players have options.
Like :
There would be no time spent grinding for stronger gear, and gear progression would solely be cosmetic.
First : grind for gear ? seriously ? you call anything in this game a grind ? If so, please don’t play any other mmo’s because you’ll be hugely disappointed.
Second : if gears would only be cosmetic, i’m sure that you would lose about 80% of the players after about 3 months. The whole purpose of an mmo is to progress through it while obtaining better and more suited gear. Bit like the “quest for amazing loot”.
Without it, people wouldn’t simply play unless it was solely to pvp.
Doing bosses ? why would you, no need for new stuff.
Doing dungeons ? why would you ?
Doing fractals ? why would you ?
You get the picture. Players either choose to play the game like they’ve been ‘told’ how and with what gear they “have to” do it, OR, they choose to do their own thing, wear the gear they want.
I’m really fed up with all those idiots who think everyone has to follow the way they say they have to because it’s so frikkin awesome to speedrun dungeons 25K times… instead of letting people choose the gear they want and the way they play.
I do play a full zerk toon, but it’s not the only one and i’m sure as hell not going to make 3 of the same bland toons in the same ‘meta’.
The ONLY reason players state they don’t want different stats or gears , is because they want everyone to be the same as to ‘compete’ on the same level.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that aint going to happen, because once it does, you’ll be playing the same mindless robots like yourself then.
It’s my hope that I won’t need to start carrying multiple full gear sets just to be able to do different content
And that is what i think more sensible people think about when talking about upcoming changes.
Something i find very helpful, is the use of a Superior sigil of cleansing. The only thing it does is clean one condition on weapon swap, but that’s about all you need.
I run with LB/GS in full zerk build, and believe me, that cleansing has saved my life more often then i can count. Both weapons have that sigil in em and it doesn’t matter which weapon i’m using, i can always remove a condition and get out of trouble when the need arises.
My prediction is that condition management will become more of an issue in the HoT expansion, well, as far as i know oc.
p.s. : instead of using the force sigils for more dmg, use the cleansing, in your case i suspect it to be more of a gain then a loss.
p.s2 : almost forgot : you can simply do a test : get some cheap LB/GS, add those sigils, and go into SW where mobs can poison or lock you, see how well you can clean and get away, it’s the same principle.
(edited by Sthenith.5196)
1. djeez, if you want “correct” and “accurate” data, then do some testing (well, a lot, since you need ALL pets AND setups to compare).
2. you will find that on average a pet will do around 1/3rd of the total damage a ranger can do. This is something that is pretty obvious.
The numbers might vary, and the differences are there between pets/traits/gear and what not, but it doesn’t change the fact that pets are one of the parts that contribute to the total dmg a ranger can do.
Now to OP :
1. The AI is terrible
Yes, in some ways it is, but it’s not as bad as it seems
2. It accounts for to much of our DPS
it’s one of the core mechanics of a ranger, so it’s quite logical they do a good chunk of damage. why else would you want a pet ?
3. Its the only class mechanic that is openly detrimental to the class, and able to be shut down
NOT the only class, but we understand your point. One should be able to disable the pet in certain situations or for those that don’t want it in some cases
Before GW2 i was playing an mmo that exists for about 7 years now( no , not the obvious one). I also upgraded my system and only recently got to start playing this game.
Although the graphics might seem not ‘up-to-date’, it is an awesome experience in comparison.
And i’m happy for OP that he finally gets some decent graphics, but trust me, you have to play this on a triple screen setup…it’s frikkin awesome (3rd person mmo’s are perfect for that).
@Tere, your gtx980 would be able to handle triple like a breeze, but it’s a sound advice to get an ssd, loading times are way less, and not only in this game.
Ranger becoming druid will probably be about more group support, either increasing some stats upon casting, or immobilizing foes, but whatever happens, it will be mainly more about ‘support’.
For once, i’d like to see ppl on a boss like Jormag without ANY ranger present to activate healing spring…. that would be fun to watch.
The main problem is that now, rangers are indeed not a part of the “meta”, but depending on the fact if they change some instances/bosses or introduce a diff mechanism in the new HoT zone(s), rangers could become ‘needed’ as a support class.
My hope is that they will play a more prevalent role in group play as druids. We’ll have to w8 and see i guess.
Every class has its worth, just go out there and find it. Anyone mentions the meta I stop listening.
+1.
How cool is it that you encounter some class and go “How the hell did he/she do that ? What build does that one even use cause it’s frikkin awesome”. It makes everything unpredictable and challenging.
Some warriors out there do not follow the ‘meta’ and are pretty friggin good at what they try to do, so let ppl ‘hate’, it’s usually when they encounter something different then what they expect.
In summary, you don’t care about objective reality and just choose what is fun because lol.
Isn’t that the whole idea behind a game ?
The basic assumption is that you make your character as strong as possible, meaning you will try to get the ‘best’ gear and weapon(s) possible. This depends oc on what kind of character you want to play and what playstyle you have.
You might want to be a tank, or a dmg dealer or even somekind of healer (depending on class), but the fact remains that you want the best combination you can get.
After that, you will take care of a certain ‘look’, hence the popularity of skins, and you will try out other things because that is what makes a game “fun”.
Every weapon out there has some kind of ‘niche’ depending on the class you play, some like focus, some like staves, some bows and some just melee weapons. But when the dust settles, you will have built yourself a character that is fun to play with whatever setup/traitsystem and gearset you choose.
I play a pure zerk ranger that is a dmg dealer, LB/GS style, but she carries other weapons or combinations like sword/axe/WH as well because diff zones or instances require diff approaches, just like her pets. The same goes for my thief and the same for my warrior, who ultimately, i all play for FUN.
And believe me, putting on a rifle in the ‘countryside’ taking out mobs left & right, where not having maximum dmg isn’t an issue, is quite fun to do and a nice change of pace.
The basic fact remains : you have the option to play how you like it, otherwise we’d all be running around in zerk gear looking the same way and using the same weapon.
Oooh…that is so awesome…. and bland.
Rifle. With extra dmg shooting from stealth and an F1 jump skill you get with the zookas on Jormag.
Stealth-Jump-Blow their heads off. And elite spec would oc be called JumpinJackFlash. Doh.
Lets put it this way :
I carry GS/hammer/LB and Rifle on my toon at all times. There are times when i need a ranged weapon, some bosses like Golem MK2 i don’t like to melee, so i can either use the LB or the rifle. If i just want to take out simple mobs ranged 1v1 i use the rifle, if i need more “pow” to it, i can use LB.
In terms of pure dmg calculations, then yes, the LB is better esp because of the burn & bleeds, but if you want to have some fun or just run around killing easier mobs (lower lvl zones) , then the rifle is an option you have.
And as was said above, rifle is an option to put some ranged pressure in WvW roaming.
I really don’t care much about all those dmg calculations, although i am aware of em, but i do like to keep my options open according to the situation. Besides, some rifles look kinda bad..s
Yesterday i levelled my thief to 80 (3rd char) , mostly by crafting , some tomes and a bit of exploring and doing the lower bosses.
I wanted a char to be different then what i’ve been playing, messing around and having fun in the process, and it is fun to play. I deviate almost completely from everything i’ve found concerning meta’s and whatnot and i lvld it using crappy gear as well.
But bosses ? man oh man, that is a LOT of fun to do with thief.
To give an example : i did Jormag today on my thief, and i got downed only once because i tried to rezz someone closer to the boss, but other then that it’s pretty straighforward. My thief is wielding dual daggers as main and a set of pistols as second, but on a boss like jormag, all i do is help rezzing, use a bazooka and occasionally go at it with a flamethrower (the ice shards).
Any other bosses i really don’t see the problem, Golem MK2 for example, i run towards it unload the dual pistols, use dodges and retreat when the floor gets to “electrified”. I deal enuf dmg and can rezz and even heal people.
Mind you, i’m using part soldier and some rabid exo pieces atm, and just upgraded my rings to something decent, so gearwise the thief sucks in comparison to my warrior and ranger, but she can hold her own in any boss battle so far.
You just need to think a bit about your toon and exploit it’s strenghts : dodging, popping up out of nowhere only to unleash a world of pain. I love it.
Nice build, depends oc if you’re out to PvE or only PvP.
Since i don’t pvp (for now) , i opted a bit different for my warrior.
I went with more hp (good against burst dmg and condi dmg) , sigils of torment and cleansing on both GS and hammer and hoelbrak runes. Build 6/6/0/0/2.
My reasoning is simple : more hp allows me to take more burst dmg or condi dmg, sigils of cleansing allow me to clean condi on weapon swap, which in turn means i don’t use ‘shake it off’ and use the signet of fury = more precision = more dmg.
Most of the time i’m running with GS anyways, so i don’t want the merciless hammer trait, but i do want warriors sprint, cause honestly, who doesn’t want more speed.
In party you switch to battle standard, and you always have the signet of might on.
Imo, while hammer isn’t bad, it’s not your best weapon (GS is) but it’s good for knockdowns and staggering blow when you’re in a pinch.
And more vit isn’t ‘mediocre’ at all. I can’t count the times that i was left with only a few 100 hp left (or less) in SW for example while others were already downed.
Mind you, my own setup is not intended for fast dungeon runs but it gets the job done.
And it rocks in SW, way better then my full zerk ranger.
First, the link to the build you’re showing has the GS as main weapon. So it’s not really an “axe-meta”.
Second, i wonder why they call this a ‘meta’ ? It’s simply a pretty logical build setup if you think about it. Maximum damage output for a GS and followed up with dual axes.
As far as open world pve goes excluding the dungeons, nearly every build works for farming. Wether you go at it 1 at the time or several mobs at once, the result is the same : dead critters, lots of loot.
IF they don’t want to introduce a new weapon (and so far they didn’t on the other revealed classes) , then options are somewhat limited.
Warrior being a non magic class, they might introduce a focus or staff with some nice
casting skills, but my personal bet would be the torch or pistol. Pistol being less likely since we have rifle , but torch would be a nice idea. With a skill called “light the way” or something of the kind. (warriors being at the forefront of battles)
Hell, they might convert the rifle into a machinegun…. who knows, lol.
In fact I don’t know of a single MMO other than GW2 that completely stopped all content to release an expansion 9 months later.
Well, then you haven’t tried any of the pwi games. No content for 2 years, unless you count cashshop items new content, or even better, no content at all and their game dies out.
Trust me, GW2 aint so bad. At least they fix some stuff here.
Furthermore, in some events i’ve seen you notice multiple ppl able to use their commander tag (if you know their names) but choose not to at that moment because someone is already ‘tag’ on a train or sumething…
We really don’t need even more “commanders” at this point in time. There are plenty to go around. As for transferring it to another player, then why spend gold on it in the first place if you’re gonna give it to randoms ?
because i can’t see myself playing another class as much as i love the warrior profession
Amen to that.
I absolutely LOVE my GS warrior. Imo, the warrior is an up-in-yo-face kinda character that smacks away at anyone or anything that comes in it’s path.
To aid in that you have the G5 skill that lets him/her run straight up to it’s foe(s), hit, and immediately starts beating the crap out of it or them.
Not only that, but you can build em to be tankier, do more condi, clear more condi(s) or plain however you want without really messing it up if you put some thought into it.
It’s a versatile class that’s a lot of fun to play if you want to go ‘up close and personal’. And that’s the way it should be. No matter the range on gs.
When i compare this game to other mmo’s out there, and esp to those i’ve played before, this still looks pretty awesome.
I’m running this on a Core i5-16Gb ram-ssd512 and a Gtx 970/4G, on triple screen setup. The only time i have some lag is on worldbosses when there’s a LOT of players on. Other then that the game runs smooth everywhere, no hickups, no glitches.
Oh, and everything is maxed on my system.
Also the new system hasn’t been implemented yet so there is absolutely no way you can know what effects the stats change will have on various builds.
I think this sums it up pretty well.
In every mmo i’ve played, and that is a LOT in over 20y , the company producing the game has never revealed everything out of the box before game/expansion release.
De dev’s are clearly reading or are aware of the concerns of the players while developing an expansion, but they have a certain goal/idea in mind.
Players always complain before anything even has been released, so honestly, all the fuss players make now before any definitive decisions are made is kinda pointless.
All the players can do, is voice their opinions and maybe even suggest some valid idea’s that “might” become a consideration for the devs, but that is as far as it goes imo.
There is also the fact that it will still take several months before any expansion is released, so players have enough time to prepare themselves, gather mats and/or gold ingame, so that they can handle any gear change or trait changes that will happen.
Hope for the best, expect the worst, but above all, be prepared.
It’s pretty easy :
1. explore everything.
2. farm everything, sell all the crap if it’s worth something in the AH, otherwise salvage it (blue gear at your lvl)
3. pick up a crafting. Chef is your best bet because it’s the cheapest to level and crafting also gives you some decent levels on your toon. Use crafting booster if you get one.
At lower levels gear and runes isn’t that important, but weapon is because you need the damage to kill mobs. But first and formost, open up as many beginner zones you can (try going to lions arch/div.reach and explore the other beginner regions) because then you can at least do the beginner world bosses (lvl 10-15-…etc) that drop chests and gear.
As for skillpoints, choose what you want for them, there are plenty of guides on the forum here or just do a search in google. Keep in mind that traits are either unlockable through tasks or spending skillpoints on them at the appropiate npc.
Have fun.
p.s. : if you want to know where and when bosses are and spawn, try google with “gw2 boss timer”. Oh, and join a good guild, they’re able to help you out as well.

Back to OP : Why a GS ?
1. it’s an awesome melee weapon for the ranger.
2. it looks frikkin cool.
3. It’s an invaluable asset of any self respecting ranger.
Personally, i’d like to be well prepared, so i carry LB, GS, SW, Axe, WH. The point being that you can switch out depending on the situation/activity.
And honestly, who doesn’t like smashing things with a huge sword.
Hmm, i don’t think Teq flaps his wings to fly. I think he just farts his way upward. Like others have said. Magical farts.
Other pieces of gear besides berserker are also a viable choice, it all depends on your playstyle and what you want to accomplish.
As an example : my ranger is full zerk gear and in SW she has trouble surviving multiple attacks from mobs that apply conditions (poison/lock/knockdowns) unless i keep dodging like a madman. My warrior is valkyrie, has way more hp, a lot more condition removers (sigil of cleansing f.i.) and is able to survive much longer while having the same power but a bit less crit%. I prefer the latter since i can’t do any dmg while i’m downed or dead.
For me, the choice is simple.
The only reason the zerk meta exists is because ppl focus on doing as much dmg as possible in the shortest amount of time. All good for dungeon runs, but in WvW or any other pve content you don’t need to follow the meta.
I’m just wondering how much of an impact HoT will have on those run of the mill meta builds. I for one, am happy with my own style and builds, and that’s what counts.
Well i don’t think it’s that big of a deal most stuff you will fight is gonna die fast no matter what now if there where boss’s that took 30min to kill that extra dmg would add up but that’s not the case with the -boss’s in gw2
Unless you aim to do speedruns and do some record breaking, the difference in dmg is not really needed. Bosses die so fast nowadays (even the world bosses, blink and they’re gone…) i doubt any slight dmg increase is even noticable, lol.
But i have to say, i wouldn’t get any asc weapon unless it’s for the looks. Some look great, but leaving a trail of flowers behind…meh. Next thing we know, we’ll be shooting rainbows from our rifles or pistols, lmao.
By now, everyone who has played this game for more then a few months and has delved into the exotics vs asc. gear knows or should know that there is “about” 5% difference in stats.
That being said, ascended is something a lot of players work towards, because let’s face it, any mmorpg aims towards what ppl call ‘loot’. Having a goal keeps players playing.
Now you can ask yourself, is it worth getting ? Depends if you want a certain goal, or if you want to have the ‘best’ setup, or if you just like the crafting.
But with so many differences in builds, gear combinations and, lets not forget, skills and traits, the slight (less then 5% on average) difference in exo vs asc gear is virtually negligable.
Purely from a PvE point of view, ascended gear is pointless with the exception of the infusions for fractals. And even that can be obtained with just trinkets (depending how much you’re willing to spend on those).
But a nice comparison anyways, thx for sharing.
As a full melee warrior (GS/Hammer) i was only carrying LB for the sole purpose of using
it against world (event) bosses who i’d rather not face up close while still doing decent damage.
But after putting some thought into it, i switched to rifle, and that only for 2 reasons :
- staying out of boss range
- looks pretty dam cool.
Seriously, if i really wanted to use a LB, then i’ll just play my ranger and spam the crap out of it. But seeing i’m mostly a melee warrior, and only use the backup weapon on (some) world bosses, i really don’t care about dps just as long as i’m not dying it’s all good.
Truth be told, the devs really neglected rifle and made it one of the worst weapons to use damage wise. A shame, considering there’s different great looking skins for those as well. Besides, it’s a great switch for when you’re tired of whacking things with your gs.
Warriors with daggers? Obviously Wassassins.
This made me lmao.
Hi all,
first off, this is my first try at the builder, so forgive me if i made any mistakes. Second, i’ve been trying out my warrior and wanted it to be different then common berserker builds.
My goal is to have a more tanky mobile warrior, with more hp, able to dispell any conditions on a weapon swap and with trait sigil (if needed) , and dish out some serious damage without needing to resort to constant dodging.
My choice went with valkyrie for the added vitality, meaning more hp for surviving several hits or condition stacks, runes of hoelbrak for the might increase and duration, and oc the reduction in condition duration. The jewelry i went with are the berserkers, just to keep my dmg high enuf (its more then my zerk ranger).
This is a PvE build, and i don’t PvP, so i have no idea how well it would fare in pvp.
So far, it has been working quite well, especially in silverwastes where mobs apply conditions or lock you.
I chose GS as my main weapon and Hammer as my second. Why hammer ? Backbreaker and staggering blow for when you’re in a pinch, combined with my merciless hammer trait it dishes out some very good dmg and allows me enough time to either retreat a bit or switch to GS again. Also, the weapon swap cleanses any condition on me.
(p.s. : hammer 5 → 4 → GS 5 → 2, is a great combo)
I chose warriors sprint as a trait because i need/want the speed increase.
Any idea’s / thoughts are welcomed. Don’t suggest going full zerk, i already got that covered on my ranger.
(edited by Sthenith.5196)
If this were to happen in another mmo i play, that company would lose thousands of dollars just by the sheer amount of cashshoppers loggin off for a day. And since they don’t want that to happen, they don’t organize such events which can’t be turned off at all.
Face it, most ppl find it funny for the first few minutes, some find it funny since they’re oh so bored at lvl 80 already, they welcome anything ‘different’ and some don’t like it at all. The worst part is not that it’s not funny, it’s that it will last a whole day.
For myself, who recently started playing and just wants to get to know the game and its content, this is a letdown. Forcing players to take some half-baked measures to make the game somewhat playable for them isn’t funny at all.
And i forgot to mention that although it might have not been planned that way, it reminds a LOT of players of the airplane crash a week ago. In my opinion, and it’s oc just an opinion, they could have thought about something better or changed it’s impact considering that.
I’ve looked at other 1st April fools pranks in other games, and believe me, they are often of a higher standard then this. Anyways, those that enjoy it, have fun with it.
The rest of us will either endure or play something different.
Im again log off sad and waiting for hot… anet again you made fail…
Please don’t come back for HoT. I don’t care if that is harsh, but if you have zero sense of humor, can not for one day have fun, then you just are not needed.
Lmao, wildkitten, you sure think you’re all that and then some. If i were him, i’d come back just to P. you off and get you all wound up. You seem to have loads of fun trolling the forums instead of enjoying the “FUN” ingame.
Very funny, you just like being a miserable person Mr. Scrooge.
It might be called an april fools day, and maybe for a 5 year old this airplane stuff might seem like “fun”, but for people who just want to play their game 5 minutes of this is more then enough, not even some option to turn it off.
It will probably last a whole day, maybe even a week… that’s not funny at all.
This so called " prank" for April fools is by far the worst i’ve seen in a game. Can’t even play the game and the sound(s) accompanying it is annoying to say the least.
This is supposed to be funny ? Seriously, any new player (if there still are some) would just consider the 10$ he/she spend a lesson learned and leave this behind as soon as possible when they encounter this.
Funny ? No.
Stupid ? Yes.
