Dark Souls has a focus on a medieval style while GW2 focuses on several different styles that are not so dark color-wise. Heck, I’d say there’s a tad bit of a retro future aspect to GW2.

No! Weapon upgrades only work when said weapon is equipped.

For instance, put a stacking sigil on. Kill someone to get one stack. Switch and kill, you will receive no addition to your stack.

…EVE Online chat system was atrocious in my opinion. Local needs to die, still. Constellation chat is always dead. Alliance and Corp chats were fine.

The auto organization skills were terrible alongside the fact that any wrong click ont he chat boxes, dragged a chatbox and requires you to rearrange everything.

I was pissed off at the EVE Online chat system for most of the three years I played.

I’m not defending GW2’s chat system, but please don’t use a terrible chat system to tell a developer how to improve their own.

At that however, I’ve had little to no problem with the current system. I do wish we had a /world or /serverwide command though, would make LFG a whole lot easier.

No, you won’t recommend that boring kitten game to anyone. I played for three years before giving my character, RiskyFrisky, away. He’s now in nullsec with a terrible pilot having his track record destroyed.

I flew with Suddenly Ninjas, Brick Squad and The Skunkworks for the more noteworthy corporations and as proof that I did play.

I helped SN blow up Chribba, the master of Veldspar, etc. etc. etc.

I would never recommend EVE to anyone. Why? Because the game is too slow. You can’t hop in and expect anything. PvP is all but ruined in highsec and nullsec/lowsec are just crap.

Never in your life should you ever recommend EVE to players. Let them find EVE themselves if they are looking for something like that.

Seems like you should look into the Altruistic Healing thread/threads. GS/Hammer apparently work great with Altruistic Healing and that’s what I’m headed for myself, personally.

Simply because they rely on themselves completely, not worshiping anything other than their machines, blades and other creations. Because of the fantastic lore they have. Because they’re feline based and that’s just awesome because cats kick butt. So many other things I could mention.

Just different from being forced to play as a human.

Looking forward to the release of this since it’s obviously coming to us sometime in the future. At current my Charr has no lips and looks quite frantic all the time. I don’t really like this. So it seems as if he’s always scarred and I’m not too huge of a fan of that. So yeah, as stated, looking forward to it.
