I am very pleased with the controls right now, with my current keybindings. I have no issue playing.

Far from Pay 2 Win. Considering the fact that those small boosts are almost negligible and if you are using that food in WvW, you are not going to perform any better against the guy who kicked your butt last time.

For the real reason: Game is being sold to a wide audience and some countries have their own rating systems. Have to keep some aspects to a minimum in order to get past those rating systems.

Australia is known to ban games for some of the dumbest things, for example. (PROTECT THE CHIIIILDDDREEEENNN!!!!!!)

Disagree, we are a pug server now, with little leadership and some gaping holes in our coverage, obviously opinions vary, I have nothing but respect for Areanas, Good Taiwan Man and the other Commanders from [WvW]. They have done a lot more for this server than the people who are driving them off.

All I have to say is: Anet should not have announced the coming of paid transfers.

Rekz was in SM when you guys took it. Christ Kaineng had so many people in there and we somehow pulled through and took it. Skill lag happened the entire time and we only lost people during the worst parts of the lag. When skill lag went away near the end of the fight…we wrecked…everything.

Got between 200 and 300 kills in that fight. Possibly more, seeing that was the biggest engagement we had of the day and I got about 700 kills tonight.

Fun times Kaineng! That fight is what WvW is about. Now if only the pesky skill lag would go away…

Well, we’ll have to thank you for giving it right back to us!

I mainly run a variation of GS/Staff, Hammer/Staff, Mace|Shield/Staff. The staff will never leave that second spot. Staff is my only permanent weapon on my Guardian. The staff is the best utility weapon in the game and it packs a nasty auto-attack and number two skill.

It can give you swiftness.
It can give you half a stack of might.
It can wall off choke points.

It is one of the best weapons guardians have and it should always, always be in your off hand. If not in your off hand, your inventory.

I cannot express how powerful the staff is in groups.

Alongside this, check out an AH build. Every boon you give out heals you for 72-75 depending on your healing power. As a guardian you give out a lot of boons. This trait will keep you alive more than you think it will, specially when it is combined with the staff’s number four skill.

12 stacks of might given out to five people (including yourself). 12×5=60. 60×72. That is over 4300 heals. Stack this in with your constant regen and ability to pop that constant regen for a 2k+ heal and then your main healing skill. You are able to full heal and then some by yourself.

By far it is the best trait Guardians have.

A certain amount of taunting goes on in these threads, I don’t consider it a bad thing, I consider it a manifestation of a competitive game.
The issue is that as soon as taunting starts there are people on the opposing team who want to act like someone just spat in their mother’s face, and then the actual malicious stuff comes out.

I completely agree with that, though I am not very bothered by either. A lot of the people who may trash talk in these forums constantly are probably very nice people (And I can back this up for some).

SoS is a great group of people. It’s a shame there is a lesser ranked server in this matchup not showing the same sportsmanlike qualities.

Since you are interested enough in our matchup to post here, feel free to browse through the rest of the thread. You’ll notice a pattern very quickly as to who is saying what, and how few people are actually saying those things.

It’s a shame so many people think that those talking on the forums are always representative of everyone else. The fact that you think that a few people are talking for all of us seems like a convenient nod to familiar faces at our expense. Thanks, buddy.

I don’t care about the rest of what you said or any of the other trolling in this thread. But any deterrence to bandwagon guilds coming to Ebay and pushing us in to this higher tiers is fine by me. Stay away, join some other server. Zerg to your hearts content. There is nothing more horrible than T1-T2. I will never go back.

To back this up, a lot of us do not want to go higher than T4 and our major guilds are, to me, not ready for anything higher than T4 (Given online times, raid times, etc). Then we can talk about Ehmry’s lack of oceanic coverage.

To put light on my three recent posts in this thread as I am not here to be a forum warrior or trash talk (Well, I am not here to do it as my main activity. We have Jinks for that). I would like to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this match up and, while not the funnest match up I have been in (Sorry guys, last week is the most fun I have ever had in WvW), it is in the top. There are a lot of good guilds on both servers we have faced this week and will continue to face until Friday. I have also seen some pretty cool tactics being employed by guilds on both sides.

Been a fun week. Look forward to tonight.

how is this ironic? he’s talking about, regardless of population “imbalance,” ARBP being bad at zerging, bad at skill groups, and bad at small mans.

ebay is heavily outnumbered and outcoveraged this matchup, but that doesn’t mean we don’t put up a hellacious fight, unlike ARBP (and they’re kidding themselves if they think they were outnumbered anywhere to the extent we are now). this is a matchup where a guild thought they were running relatively “light” with 35 people. in my guild’s case, that’s more people than we’ve ever fielded, even on reset nights.

honestly, this was a pretty pleasant matchup and unremarkable thread until the level of objectivity slid and baseless backpatting on all sides started up.

This thread brings me such joy.

Asking respect from the people who repeatedly handed your taint to you as you brag about PvDooring their entire borderlands. Not only brag, but some are even attempting to rub it in our faces. It is cute, though very pathetic. We do not have the coverage you have and this was realized from the start, nothing DB does to us is an achievement. Yet we continuously, when our main guilds are on, hand your taints to you.

Only way you deal with it is bringing more and more until you finally manage to crush the superior force. Though not with tactics, with pure brute numbers. Hence zergdogs.

I have and will continue to compare DB to a Russian battalion in WW2. I compare us to a German MG42 emplacement. We keep firing and firing and mowing down Russians until we run out of ammo. Then we reload and keep on doing it till we’re over ran.

Though unlike those poor sods from the German army who were likely stabbed to death by bayonet. We respawn, we come back and we laugh as you eat dirt again and again and again.

Though yeah, you keep up that PvDooring. We’ll keep collecting bags when we’re on and fighting.

The food you mention is terrible and I would not touch it in WvW. Utilities cover my needed stat and food covers my stund/condition duration removal or even getting 400+ health for every kill I make.

45+ to stats and 5% crit damage is NULL in comparison to how helpful other foods are.

Why would you do that. You should have sold all those gems and simply bought the dragon coffers from the PRTP. A few thousand of those beats the hell out of a hundred or so elite coffers from the CRTP…

That is the problem though, when they said better chance, it made it sound “better” lol. That wasn’t the case, it shouldn’t be 3000 in game coffers or 2900 gem coffers =1 ticket, it isn’t fair to people who can’t shell out 300 bucks on RNG. I have 20 gamestop gem cards on order at my local store(1200 ea), and I won’t be using them on the coffers.

At the end of the month you’ll likely be able to buy a few stacks of Dragon Coffers for 10 gold. Hold off till then if you’re looking to buy them. As you’ve mentioned though, save those gems for something else.
