Ive never boosted my necromancer to 80 so i dont know what you have limited if any

I had multiple cases where I use this skill to block a projectile and end up getting hit is anyone else having this problem?

For wells I’d suggest either a different trait effect or add onto it

either buff well of power to convert 2 condis per pulse or make wells shorter in duration but at the same effectiveness

chilling winds is one of the skill i actually get a good use out of.
I got lich chilling winds immediately for a nice knockback.

foes lose boons allies lose condition with some damage and healing or lifeforce gain
i was using it today even with the one stack of pulsing stability you are still easy to cc. The 4th skill is seems like your leaving yourself wide open or abandoning your team it take so long to cast
it is best used on a power focused necro(or reaper) I find I am mostly within 600 range of my target which makes a long range bomber elite cd seem out of place

Honestly i find some of your suggestions confusing. You shouldnt mix utility skills (minion spectral etc.) with weapon skills.
Also spectral attunement is a good trait. It only falls short because you have to give up vp for it and a full spectral build is not good currently (which could change if we good a spectral heal and some buffs to spectral walk like removel of cripple, chill and immobilise and maybe a shorter cd).
do you mean spectral mastery? or spectral attunement the trait I suggested.

Spectral attunement yea does need balancing you can add your own suggestion I made a change too I think will help.

what problems are you guys having with axe?
I feel like if using a power build i should mostly use axe over staff however in pvp i find this is not the case
i think the main reason i use staff over axe are
1.) staff trait location
2.) traited staff
3.) unblockable
4.) traited staff has 4 main skill effect which overwieght the effect i get from axe/x
traited axe doesn’t help it compete because i don’t use it for damage and cooldowns arent an issue
i like envoy shroud as it sounds like its don’t require you camping shroud to get the most out of it. Sounds like it would be good for a flashing shroud build however flashing shroud builds don’t work in pvp or wvw
It could maybe benefit if instead of aiming at granting a little bit of all boons to grant more of a smaller set
the gaurdian weapons now all of consecrations the envoy it kinda like the dark gaurdian is what i was getting
what if the torch had a descration on it
a lot of people take staff over axe for the reason that staff has utility and axe doesnt
i think if they changed the axe like this it would be taken a lot more
1) rending claws remove vuln, add 2% lifeforce gain per hit
2)change unholy feast to spectral grasp, remove chill decrease range, decrease lifeforce gain to 10% change cooldown to 20
3)unholy fervor chalnnge remove damge bonus vs vu targets, rending claws now applies vulnerability, all other axe skills apply chill per hit 2 seconds
now your axe has reliable lifeforce generation with the possiblitity of generation a lot of lifeforce, it can help you chase people and single people out.
i read the op then i was about to mention all the taunt seems a bit much when i saw the reply you made.
Maybe edit the op with changes to reduce the amount of reading and then we can see where you are going with the changing your thinking about

my issue with MoC is that most corruption have no base effect unless you meet some requirement

Regen doesnt heal in shroud. Now I know most healing doesn’t heal through shroud but i think regen should because unlike other healing that come in as a burst. Regen is a slow steady source of healing. the result is necromancer not being able to properly being able to benefit from regen.

when I talk about flashing shroud I have the intent to still use shroud skill 2-5 as they have really good effects shroud 1 in the current state would rarely be used with the build.
pros and cons of shroud interaction with trait
The pro of lifeforce vs health is the fact it take 2 points of damage to remove one point of lifeforce the con is it decreases over time while in shroud.
this would remove the con but keep the strength which I’m aware of and suggest balance work would need to be done.
using lifeforce with the traits
I like your suggestion, my aim with the trait is to use lifeforce, with yours wouldn’t it consume even less lifeforce?

I think the trait is really strong and could use some balance work. If the trait doesn’t overshadow shroud based builds I believe it won’t just be a straight up buff. This is because it doesn’t work well together.

the idea of the trait wasn’t to fix the limitation of the necromancer it is to offer another play style.The flashing shroud build should have both advantages and disadvantages compared to a shroud based build. First a flashing shroud build needs to be semi-viable.
I know there are so many flashing shroud traits its part of the reason why think there should be a flashing shroud build. The reason why I believe they don’t work is because you can’t use your lifeforce

Applying 20 stacks of bleed to yourself while it could be a strength I think most necromancer would still not want to have the bleeding on them.
What I really think they should do with corruptions is remove the self harm and make an elite spec with a self harm theme. Also like the revenant they removed the self harm conditions because of the way it interacts with the game. Self harm condition I think shouldn’t be used.

They should make this skill be a real risk to the necromancer
For example it should apply like 20 stacks of bleed for 1 minute

vampiric spirit and dark pact(already a skill in the game dagger3) would be good opportunities maybe an effect like phoenix
the hammer has a ton of support condition cleansing, healing and damage absorption i think would fit necromancer type better.
lastly I don’t think there should be group invulnerability/evasion.

It doesn’t need blind immunity, but it should grant a 2 stack stability as a base upon cast completion + the additional stacks per target hit.

necro lich->ppl dont choose this skill for its CC.some skills like moa morph or CTTB should be granted blind immunity imo or at least an effect that gives somthing upon casting….and CTTB still very obvious to dodge/block/evade/just walking a bit away so it is still need thought to use it. Blind imo is overkill. Again not saying this skill is not strong though blind make it a bit less so and with no logic behind it since this skill animation,description and intend, is no aim just freeze anyone blindly in the sorroundings.

1. the cc
2. stability + the damage
since stab changes i have stopped using lich
blind should remain effective vs those skills

with the amount of block effects now i think adding more unblock-able would be fine
reduce invulnerability and evade effects
there is no counter play to invulnerability and evades and should be limited.
I wonder if a necromancer with this trait will ever be able to enter death shroud? I would prefer a flashing trait that gives us some defense back like :
shrouded resistance: when entering shroud your life force bar can’t decrease for 2 seconds, increase the cooldown off exit shroud skills by 2 seconds.
Its only active while shroud is on cooldown not when you aren’t in shroud. You will be able to go back into shroud.

what would be better sigil of corruption or doom on the second weapon set
i was thinking about working on making either a revision of my cultist using a set of health percentage trait or working on a demon hunter idea with venoms and long range.
necromancer need lots of buffs from these buffs the current meta necro will like see little to no change but other necro option will open up.
maybe i don’t understand how the skill functions but it sounds like its very easy to leave for most classes and skills like ring of warding sound better or just as powerful with no penalty
i think dark prision wouldn’t be worth the cost I would make it stronger or change it
