No criticism is intended with this
just a bit of Christmas fun
You know Guardian and Cele Ele and Minion Master,
you know Druid, Staff Ele and Tempest,
But do you recall
The most famous bunker of all
Chrono the Purple-Nosed Bunker
Had a very shiny shield
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other bunkers
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Chrono
Join in any pvp games
Then one foggy Expansion pack,
ANET came to say,
Chrono with your shield so bright,
Won’t you guard my point tonight
Then how all the players loved him,
As they shouted out with glee,
Chrono the purple-nose Bunker
You’ll go down in history

And all of the other bunkers

Ele hasn’t been in a good spot for ages.
4 ele and a thief?
meta^2
Dhuumfire? If were talking about past events might as well bring this shining example loool past metas don’t mean anything to the current meta.
And if you seriously think current ele state is the same as the celestial D/D you need to get a reality check.
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
Tempests are in a good spot and consider them one of the least “gimmicky” builds. They are reliable and I swap to play one if there’s none on the team.
Remember staff-less tempests suffer from poor mobility, low hp pool, low-ish damage output.
If you play carrion Reaper then yes, the ds tempest and certain daredevil builds will counter you. A power necro can handle daredevils well. As for the tempest, you will need to rework your traits, swap amulets and maybe start playing one to better understand their mechanics.
Ele hasn’t been in a good spot for ages.
4 ele and a thief?
Dhuumfire?
But now seriously, what pushed necros out of the meta isn’t tempests, because only a very baddddd player would attack a tempest on a 1 vs 1 on a serious game, because even if you win it will take you enough time for other players to rotate to your point putting you on a disadvantage.
If you say that a tempest lasting that long on point is bad, you need to realize that is what bunkers are supposed to do…
There could be tweaks to tempest but overall good players know how to counter tempest, CC, Condi bombing on the right time, dazes etc…
But what really pushed necros out of meta is condi malyx Heralds, they do the same role of the necros but with more:
Mobility
Healing
Condi resistance
Damage
Pls try to complain about the right things ok?

Exploit: A premade takes low mmr players in their composition to lower overall team mmr.
->Ways to have a lower mmr player:
You ask a new player to join your team
You create a new account and join the team (this is even worse because the player at the new account is (in most cases) a very experienced player
You dunk a players mmr on safe spots on leagues, amber (all tiers), emerald and sapphire (on tier change ), this way you lower mmr but don’t lose pips
Solution:
Players will fall in two categories:
A – Ruby or above
B – Sapphire or below
In the ranked pvp queue check if the party has mixed players from categories A and B, if so disallow them from entering the queue and inform them:
Players in ruby or above can only queue with ruby or above players.
Hope this helps

They have already had 2 test seasons, a wealth of feedback from reddit and the forums and a crap load of data from unranked and ranked queues. It’s time to face the reality… Anet is clueless about how to do this properly.
I understand your frustration, but keep in mind this league system in particular is being used for the first time.
Not all about the current system is bad…I notice solid improvements on:
-MMR matching imho is better (not perfect)
-Reward quality (could be even better)
-Balance has improved (less classes not viable, still need to help out thiefs and warriors)
-Build variety has increased in meta
-Match history
-Match statistics
-Pro league
-Cash rewards
-Legendary on pvp
-PVP icons on your name tag
-Less visual clutter (some seems exagerated – fire ball for example )
-A great increase on quality of life, tool tip and bug fixes related to pvp (still a way to go to be perfect)
There are also many problems…let’s see how the second iteration of the league system plays out.
For now I’m happy to see those improvements.

Hi guys,
I’d like to suggest on the next pvp league iteration for ANET to invite several test guilds:
-2 to 3 top pvp guilds
-2 to 3 Casual pvp guilds
-15 to 20 solo players
Make them play together on a test league with the new system and encourage them to reach top places in league (gems, cash, items whatever) that will make them actually compete and try to break the system.
That will enable you to improve the system before reaching the game population.
It’s very similar to what you did with raids.
Hope this helps

Hi Anet,
I believe you guys have put a lot of effort into your game, and you’re doing good efforts to improve it.
Regarding leagues there are some aggressive post out there, mine isn’t one of them, I will play pro league no matter the state it’s in just so I can help you guys improve the game through metrics.
But I believe it would help if we (as players) understood some of our (natural) questions about leagues:
1-Has mmr reset? Many players are reporting it hasn’t…If yes could there be a bug, if not jump to question 2
2-If mmr didn’t reset won’t this be harmful to the higher mmr players? we could possibly end up with a league were the top players are stuck in mid leagues
3-Aren’t you afraid that by not limiting opponents by league, this could lead to unfair games. Imagine i’m at mid rank level, if in my matches i fight against players from the top league ranks I will most probably lose, this will deflate my pips and will make it longer for me to find my equilibrium point in league rankings.
Is there something in the system to counter this that I may be missing?
4-Aren’t you afraid that teams with low skill but are team speak coordinated, could possibly farm the league system? I understand that their mmr will increase and they will face other top players and thus be balanced out. This in theory solves the problem, but it has some weaknesses that can be exploited:
-I can deflate the team mmr by leaving a spot open (4 team comp) that would possibly lead to being paired with a low mmr player thus lowering our 4 team comp mmr. Is there something in the system to counter this that I may be missing?
-A team can play late night or early mornings hours so there will be less teams playing, thus increasing their pips by playing against lower mmr opponents.
Is there something in the system to counter this that I may be missing?
That’s all i can think of right now…if you guys have any more questions (without anger or salt) please share them.
I believe in you guys Anet, my goal with this is that the player base will be informed about the current system strengths/weaknesses so we can in the future leagues give some well informed suggestions.
And I will be on the pro league no matter what

Most of the new specs are crazy OP: a common theme is that they are hard to kill, do lots of damage, have lots of cc, and just seem to spam aoe.
This I agree, power creep has entered the game…but imo only thiefs and warriors are behind the OP status and priority should be buffing those classes, when everyone has power creeped game will balance out.
Only problem will maybe be people not enjoying the power creep…

Perma 40% protection team wide opie.
It’s only on the ele…
Nope you can get Perma protection on your team if you run powerful auras, use sand squall, and earth overload (and allies stay in range) very easily with 0 boon duration from runes. You need warhorn though, or durability or leadership runes to work with D/F. I modeled the scenarios based on different skill rotations, runes, and and trait setups.
What nearlight said. You can get it with just the Earth Trait Elemental Shielding. 0 boon duration. 3 seconds of prot every aura.
I hate it when people just claim stuff without any testing and just say "Nope.. Yada Yada Yada… it only affects the ele, so its not OP and please dont nerf my class
we all hate when we see someone claim a class is unbeatable in 1 vs 1 just cause he can’t beat it with DH

True and with a carrion frostfire reaper you can spam chill on enemy team and easily break diamond skin and make the ele life miserable.
A golden rule of conquest pvp is damage dealers push hard…bunkers resist harder, both dps increased and people started crying that bunkers got tankier…with great power comes a extra tanky bunker.
Meta is pretty balanced so far, tempest is strong but so are reapers, revenants, scrappers, chronos, DHs….
In my opinion only thiefs and warriors should receive buffs.
So stop asking for nerfs when your class spams chills and condies with great survivability…you need a bunker like tempest to deal with that in the current meta

Hey
I’ve also asked for a solo queue before and some problems also frustate me daily.
But…they are comited to the goal of giving us a fair mmr algorithm that can handle teams and solo queuers alike, this is frustating to us because we want the game fixed now….but if they pull it off (even if it takes a while) the game will be more fun than ever to all of us (more players to face).
I can´t tell you if they will be able to do a fair algorithm to solo and teams, but Justin is working his kitten off, he’s very active on forums and hes investigating what’s happening…he’s going in the right direction.
Let’s give him a chance and some time
people have axed for soloq since it was removed… so they’ve had time here’s the crux of the issue from anets pov of why they won’t change the queues
anet splits queue, so # of people for teams to face drops off
?teams have to wait longer to play
?teams stop playing as teams because they so bored^ thats the fear, the reality:
anet merged queue, so # of people for teams to face jumps up
?teams have shorter to wait to play
?teams roll over soloq’rs (or at least is perceived as such)
?soloq’rs leave spvp/leave queuing/leave gw2
?total pop falls
?queue times begin to rise again
?back where we started, except the overall pop is downso wat do they do? the moment they split it back up, queue times for teams def jumps up as all those soloq’rs go back to soloq’ing.
wat anet isn’t considering is that when people are having fun, they will continue to play and can try to bring their friends over/spread the word of fun/grow more.
the current strat is to force people to play X way, try to entice w/ $$$ in tourneys to get the pop up, all the while neglecting the #1 important aspect of gaming… having fun
yeah I must admit I’ve thought about that before…but since i don’t have any way of knowing for sure that’s the problem (and indeed I’ve been noticing a growth in pvp population) I’m inclined to believe anet is doing this out of design they firmly believe they can pull off an mmr algorithm for solo and teams.
And i can tell you sometimes it works as a charm I’ve faced full team comps that were on my level and won several matches against them. I believe sometimes the mmr algorithm fails, but it is improving.
They are actively solving issues on mmr and they are investigating it frequently, so let’s see where that goes
Keep this in mind:
-> people said that gw2 pvp is smaller than gw1 pvp: It isn´t
-> people said gw2 pvp wouldnt grow: it is growing
-> people said there wouldn´t be leagues: there are
-> people said meta needed more variety: we have the largest number of meta builds ever
So who knows what will happen next

Hi all, I am Airanthus. Some of you might know me from a couple of my previous posts. I main a Necromancer and I am currently trying to get more into PvP. There is a limited number of resources though on the internet regarding SPvP in GW2. What I mean by resources is not just builds telling you “take this and this traits and press these skills in this order to profit” but how’s the game played, team compositions etc. Would anyone be kind enough to illuminate me please? Also if there is some kind of "tank in SPvP can a Power Reaper do that? Thanks in advance!
Hi and welcome
hope you survive the experience ehehehe
I’d say start by reading this:

And go to the site at the end of that post for a nice tutorial.
Then pick your build at:

Then proceed to watch gw2 leagues at twitch tv (guild wars 2).
This should help you out

Just throwing an idea out there (sometimes it helps software developers) could the absence of matches in the log be related to an absence of matches in the system, thus, making salamander mmr to be permanently stuck on a high level?
In case of doubt you could ask a dev to play with salamander in pvp and then proceed to check the log to see if it shows the new game.
This is the first time I’ve seen missing matches. There are plenty of match logs up until 11-21, and it could just be a delay in our metrics system, which is separate from what the API pulls from (which is right from the source).
Confirmed we’ve got some backed up data so I can’t investigate right now. Your MMR looked pretty stable, though.
Thanks for the reply, hope this helps a bit (even if it’s only to remove possibilities off the table).
One more idea, could the delay of the data account for this situation? Imagine this generic example:
win – 10 mmr
win – 20 mmr
win – 30 mmr calculation is working with this info
lose – 30 mmr ( should be 20 but as data is delayed so mmr algorithm couldn’t take this into account)
lose – 30 mmr ( should be 10 but as data is delayed so mmr algorithm couldn’t take this into account)
lose – at this point the player can start to perceive his games as unfair…he lost several games and is still facing teams based on the 30 mmr
If this holds up, you can also factor games with low pop on the equation that can inflate/deflate mmr, imagine I as a player play at an hour where there are not many players that can match my mmr, i could increase or decrease my mmr creating a deviation due to the inability (not on the algorithm but on the player pool) of finding a match for my mmr.
Now on the following day, I’ll go play in prime time and get paired with players that are on my new mmr level, that would adjust my previous deviation by playing at low hours, but if data gets backed up I’ll remain in the inflated/deflated mmr score, leading to either a seried of wins/ loses depending on how much my mmr has been inflated/deflated.
I know my example is too small but this could happen in a day to day basis (example: during the week pvp at late hours at the weekend pvp during prime time)
Again hope this helps, and as a software developer I must give you props for the amount of efort and research youre doing to make an algorithm that is fair for us all.

What I’d like to discuss is how to objectively determine of a class is OP or not so we could improve player feedback to anet.
So (bear with me, i’m not a top player and I´m hoping top players/ANET see this and either complement this post or create videos tackling this issue), being as it may I’ll kick off the ball:
When saying that a class is OP you need to think on all the stages of a conquest map, if your build over performs in team fights / small skirmishes / forcing decaps / +1s / rotating / team support, if your answer is yes to 3 or more of this points you should complaint, if not you should accept it and avoid that class in his strong points.
Let’s try to educate and help players (myself included) understand how to determine if a class is OP or not.
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
I’m by no means a top player…you can count me on the slightly above average casual players, but most of the OP statments i see are based on 1 vs 1 or small skirmishes experiences.
In those scenarios a good Chronomancer can be really strong, It can either go with good DPS (depends on survivability while dpsing) or high survivability and team support.
In team fights imho, Chronomancer starts to lose his OP status, that is because either DPS or survivability/team support are indeed sub par comparing with other classes, so in a team fight when faced with a comp that has that classes you will underperform.
DPS -> both reapers and DH have a better DPS/survivability ratio
Survivability/team support -> Druids or tempest elementalists are better
What the chronomancer could possibly bring to the team is an option, when you have a chronomancer in your team you lose a bit of either dps or team support, but you can adjust the rest of your comp to have slightly less movement speed, to compensate this.
So I agree that chronomancer isn´t op.
I’ve been guilty of doing this in the past (DH traps) but I keep trying to improve.
Hope this helps the OP passing his point through

With so many complaint posts I figured it would be nice to have a post dedicated to counterplay, specifically towards the professions that are often categorized as over powered and give people the most trouble. Please comment below on general tips to defeating a strong profession such as what to watch out for, when to evade, etc.. Also, it might be worth while to note that although a few things may be obvious to you, others may have no idea what the hell is going on and need a little push in the right direction; whether this means describing what a skill looks like (such as the massive dragon from the Revenant) or what an icon/buff looks like on a character (like how Ranger’s Signet of Stone has no noticeable animation yet looks like a bunch of circles with a brown background). This post is mainly targeted towards newer players or those who don’t have experience with every profession but I’m sure others can find some use for it as well.
Bring evades, blocks and invulnerabilities orteleports…in the current state of the meta you won’t survive without them, use them wisely, when on cooldown avoid staying next to enemy players ( DH traps, mesmer gravity wells, ele air overload, revenant unrelenting assault, scrapper hammer skill 3 ), when you get bursted on cooldown don’t reprimend yourself (there are a LOT of burst skills on the table now) don’t get angry and keep focused, go back at it.
On a 1 vs 1 if you use blocks evades ports, invulnerabilities you won’t have much of a problem, on team fights you can always be blind sighted accept that and next time hope you don’t get caught while on cooldowns.
Train your activation of blocks, evades, ports, invulnerabilities…you need to cast them in 1 second flat.
Hope this helps.

how is adding 1 second to traps balance nerfs shouldn’t cater to bad pvp players who cant dodge at top tier games DH is easily countered seriously people…and these just you wanting to buff your favorite class tbh.

3/4 cast time
This is my compromise with the feedback from several users that posted before.
Traps are used at top level play I’m sure even top players can and will be caught in traps.
Your argument is based in 1 vs 1 scenarios but pvp is a team based game where you can be blind sighted pretty easily, specially by a teleporting guardian.
And i read all post before responding to a thread and I also play all classes, so no favorites for me.
Tkx for your feedback

I like ur warrior suggestions. Evade on rush is a great idea.
Thanks

I agree that overloads should be high risk high reward, it should have obvious strengths and weaknesses. You should bait out enemy cc and cover up the overload channeling with defensive skills, but once you get it off it should be worthy of the 4 sec channel time. The only lacking overload at the moment is water, since you usually swap to water if under pressure, and you need to then wait 5 secs before even starting to channel it. It you do happen to get to start the cast, you are easily CC’ed even with harmonious conduit as it only provides 1 stack of stability, which is easily removed during a 4 sec cast. If you somehow do manage to get the water overload channel off, it heals for a measy amount not worth the effort.
In that case i agree with you, and definitely water needs the most love, but fire is under performing, you can wield better results by avoiding the overload and using your normal skill rotation (the added 15 seconds on the cooldown will avoid using the fire skills more often, if you avoid the overload you will do more damage and generate more might, hence not aiding the high risk high reward play style. The same thing plagues earth atunement.
So if you want to max out your play style in tempest only overload that pays off is air, all others you will have better results by simply doing your usual rotations.
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
Tempest does not need a buff. In its current state it is neither underpowered or overpowered, I think it is fairly balanced. It is meant as a team fighter not a duelist.
Overloading in a team fight most of the time will mean you will be interrupted or spiked down hard, if you take:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Harmonious_Conduit
you will not be interrupted as easily but be much more vulnerable to conditions, because you can’t use the combination of:
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Invigorating_Torrents
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Cleansing_Wave_
At this moment tempest gives good party support, but at the cost of cherry picking your overloads (most are under performing)m my suggestions would enable overload to be used more frequently, if the more frequent usage of overloads becomes problematic then they should be toned down (air specifically).
You could argue that overloads should be high risk high reward, in that case ignore my suggestions and earth, water and fire overloads should receive buffs. Because at this moment what they give you is inferior to using your normal skill rotations.
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
Lol you want Unrelenting Assault to be even more unreliable than it already is?
You can:
- Interrupt it
- Move out of its range before the initial cast time finishes
- Block it
- Dodge it
- Bait the Herald into an unfavorable position with blinks
- Neglect the damage moving closer to your team mates
You have more than enough to work with.
There are ways to counter any skill no matter how op it is, but the cold hard fact is that 2 seconds of evade together with damage to several targets and might gain on a potential 12 seconds cool down (will degrade due to energy consumption) is too rewarding, a little more risk should be involved, hence the adjustment of the evade time frame to 1 second.
I agree that on a 1 vs 1 scenario this skill isn’t so rewarding, but in a team fight with several cool downs already spent and several targets on point this will net too much gain.
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
Small changes that imho could help out in pvp.
DH:
DH traps need increased cast time (1 second).
Scrapper:
Hammer 3 needs to be reduced to 1 blast finisher, reduce evade to 1/2 second
Revenant:
Reduce evade on unrelenting assault to 1/2 second
Warriors:
Slow adrenaline degeneration out of combat
Increase stances duration by two seconds
Evade on GS rush 3/4 second-Tempest Elementalists:
Make Harmonious conduit baseline
Harmonious Conduit replacement trait: pulse blindness on overload (1 second interval)Thief:
Shadow refuge: Add protection on activation and pulse blindness on shadow refuge (1 second pulse) increase healing to 3000.
Pistol skill headshot: add knockdown duration 1 secondChronomancer:
Increase cast time of Tides of time to 3/4
Gravity well reduce knockdown duration to 1/2 secondSrry but no for 1 sec cast time of traps. Pvp is ccfest so far so no. I can’t even heal now with 1 sec cast time.

3/4 cast time
This is my compromise with the feedback from several users that posted before.

What I propose is a reduction on evade, from 2 seconds to 1/2 seconds, but this could be debatable, perhaps 1 second would allow counter play and also survival for the revenant.

I also don’t do the chest trains
by doing the above steps 2 times a day (1 hourish ) has earned me in 2 days from 10 to 30 gold (depending on rngesus). You can improve this by doing chest trains and by doing it more times.
Good luck

This is called negotiating difference in opinions. I don´t have any personal agenda against any class…I play all of them. So my goal here is not to gut a class but to make skills more balanced.
In my opinion a trap is something that needs preparing so being instant kinda feels “wrong” so to be more specific about DH traps:

3/4 cast time
Regarding 3 blast finishers and combo fields, depends on the combo field and depends if your coordinating with your team, the potential is there and it is too rewarding.

This are just suggestions of course traits can and should also be changed. My reasoning for increased cast times on traps is because in my opinion stacking several traps or casting traps on mid fight without any penalty is something really strong.
In a short amount of time you’re able to:
→ improve point pressure
→ do a large amount of dps and some cc
→ reduce close up dps by making enemies avoiding your position
I would imagine cast times of traps being 3/4 of a second but not less, although I can admit some traps could remain without cast time:
Light’s Judgment
Dragon’s Maw
Fragments of Faith
The reason I missed the traits is because the best way for adjust something is to start somewhere, skills should be balanced to start with…3 blast finishers in a single skill is too rewarding the same could be said about 2 seconds of evade on a skill.
Further posts can and should be done about traits, but for now I’m focusing on skills.

I respect your opinion but disagree…balance isn’t limited to traits and imho this skills are too/not enough rewarding. Thanks for the feedback

Small changes that imho could help out in pvp.

Partially agree…for now I’m just doing hot joins so I can get dailies and then head back to pve. Awaiting patiently for more balance patches.
I wouldn’t say there was no work or effort…a lot of work was done, and mostly elite specs need marginal nerfs/buffs to begin with (as these might not be enough).
DH:
->DH traps need increased cast time (1 second).
Scrapper:
->Hammer 3 needs to be reduced to 1 impact, reduce evade to 1/2 second
Revenant:
-> Reduce evade on unrelenting assault to 1/2 second
Warriors:
-> Slow adrenaline degeneration out of combat
-> Increase stances duration by two seconds
-> Evade on GS rush 3/4 second-
Tempest Elementalists:
->Make Harmonious conduit baseline
->Harmonious Conduit replacement trait: pulse blindness on overload (1 second interval)
Thief:
->Shadow refuge: Add protection on activation and pulse blindness on shadow refuge (1 second pulse) increase healing to 3000.
->Pistol skill headshot: add knockdown duration 1 second
Chronomancer:
->Increase cast time of Tides of time to 3/4
->Gravity well reduce knockdown duration to 1/2 second
This should be a nice starting point

Sometimes when a player enters stealth you can still see his icon on the mini map, enabling you to keep following him and attacking the zone where he is.
Lately though I’ve only seen players that are downed while in stealth on the mini map.

→Look in looking for group for maps with silverwastes and high percentage. Ex: sw 80%
→Get into group and select join
→Do final events on silverwastes map, after final vinewrath event join the champ train
→Keep all the golds and salvage them with black lion salvage kits (optimal) or mystic salvage kits
→Sell ectos
→Salvage all whites/blues/greens and sell materials/sigils/runes
→Rinse and repeat
Hope it helps

I’ve been using a burning scrapper and I’ve had good success fighting revs.
Build:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vdAQJAqancTB1ah1XBWXBEqiF2iiO4H+kH8DLxAQsjminA-TJRIABA8AAiY/hiKD07JAAA
Rotation I use:
1º) while he’s engaging start by using pistol 1 the when he gets at point blank use 2 (with incendiary ammo, you can save it for step 2 on skill 1…)
2º) switch to flamethrower and use 5, then proceed to use 1, 4 and 2 (blast for more might)
3º) switch to pistol and kite (pistol 5 to gain distance, use it at point blank so it’s harder to miss and pistol 3 when he gets too close for comfort)
4º) switch to flamethrower and use 3 for the push back
5º) go back to step 1
Things to keep in mind:
-Save your dodges for when you don’t have pistol 3, 5 and flamethrower 3 and 5 available)
-If you hit him and his health starts going up, turn tail and stop attacking for 4 seconds.
-Save elixir S as your oh kitten button
-If you need to disengage pop your elite (if he follows sneak gyro, detonate it, you’ll get 4 seconds of stealth, if still needed at the end of the 4 seconds throw elixir S so you get even more time to disengage) heal up and resume offensive rotation
-Sneak gyro tips (don’t use swiftness, you’ll outrun it, don’t jump over things he’ll get stuck)
-Use elixir B as soon as it’s up…unless you’re disengaging…see above
Hope this helps

The hero challenge you activate when you interact with the Coztic Itzel Belongings in Verdant Brink (in the canopy above the noble crash site) completes sucessfully but doesn’t award the hero points (still shows as not earned on map).
Tried it around 5 times, for the last 2 hours. Some players doing the hero challenge with me got the hero points.

Hats off to you sir…amazing play, nice disengages, amazing timing and some of those evades (remembering one vs Guardian GS 5 skill ) were breathtaking…
Especially enjoyed when you timed the mist form of rune of vampirism proc and gave the final blow without missing a millisecond.
You sir are an artist, please keep making more videos and if you can persuade others (top tier players) to give us videos of this caliber for other professions we would be forever grateful.

Well i have to agree that it is time consuming and it’s hard to do, but what i imagine isn´t like water combat or like aion air combat, what I imagine is like having a true dog fighting game mode (ace combat style) with mmo flavour to it.
I ain’t counting for it to be done, but seems to me a very fun game mode with lots of cool possibilities (including nice micro transactions).
But hey it´s just an idea…it´s out here if anet finds it interesting nice if not no harm done
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
Should be a WvW map. I don’t see it working as spvp.
yeap think your right this seems more like a relaxed pvp game mode, it could have aerial races, obstacle courses too
kitten nnnn I can see so many possibilities with this
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
Yeah
kinda of a dream but one can only hope, I can imagine if they increase speed of gliders and create some fun pvp maps and add aerial maneuvers (loops, spirals etc…) this mode could be a blast to play, add to this customized aerial glider skins and potential glider upgrades and mastery tie ins and you could have a very deep game mode
Anet pls make my dream come true
i don’t mind waiting for a couple years XD
https://www.gw2pvp.de/profile/ab4bd8fa4c3f250ac9533c479b0b862b/
Except with the added complexity of having gliders and needing to keep strategic use of updrafts to keep in air this would add to the fun of it.
Dog fighting (more like glider fighting) with an charr with aviator helmet would really make my day
