lets just drop the massive egos and keep up the awesome fights and the (relatively) clean forum so far

eh, maybe only if it was fully upgraded when you took it, then you would get a chest cause there are times when garrison’s will get flipped multiple times in a short time span

yeah p1 when protecting hodgens i get terrible fps lag, and mob culling throughout the dungeon, not fun

because just being competitive is boring, yay for steamrolling t1 servers

while this is quite unfortunate for t8 i dont think you guys will fare much better against any of the servers in t7, honestly if you care about WvW that much, i dont think t8 is the place for you at this point

Best thing about this game, is its free so the best way to not get burnt out, just take a break. No money lost just pop back on when we get our WvW updates

its called map completion for a reason, WvW is included and its not going to just be handed to you. Complaining on forums gets you nowhere.

From what i have faced i have to say [HB] from blackgate

From what i have seen, via videos ect, Red Gaurd looks pretty strong as well

simple, interrupt/kill the warrior doing the rez, its a 3 sec cast time i believe

also keep in mind that this skill has a 4 minute CD

Great fights tonight. [KnT] got to spend some time on every single map. Shout out to the PiNK/KH group that took our Tier 3 hills in KN BL, we just couldn’t zone in enough people to fend you off. Basically we ran in there, said “we can wipe once and if we do, it’s back to BG BL to defend Bay”. You won that battle and a well deserved keep I must say

Crazy fun battles in kaineng BL tonight (was more action packed than the reset defending the home borderlands), Thanks to [KH] for kicking kitten with us, and also thanks to all we faced in our swiss cheese garrison (still holding it surprisingly).

it looks like at the time they mad this decision to do this the tiers were more unstable and i agree the more i look at the projected ratings the more im thinking that its going to take even longer to stablize out that it originally would have

While this may be annoying when you’re dying a not knowing what to do. Once you get the hang of WvW the money you have from drops/taking camps, towers and completing events for killing sentry’s/dolyaks, etc etc, you get the point.

You will end of making more money in wvw than you spend on armor repairs

i’d like to see a dev or someone from anet to give us an exact number, i’ve heard 133 from each server on a map but we all know that isn’t true

ill happily take blackgate over you guys. But its been some good fights when our people weren’t so demoralized to even log onto WvW

yeah i feel like the whole 133 people cap on each map is a bunch of bullkitten, when we lost garrison (most recently) we had about 20-25 people there, with a queue.

I dont know if its bugged or we had that many people killing centaurs/being afk in spawn

in all honesty this is a good thing for most servers, even if some servers may not agree with it

TC is a great server, been here since the head start! Could always use some more friendly faces

IMO no server should be able to skip an entire tier, be it they be from higher tiers and have that experience or not

The short answer to fixing this is to buy/upgrade to a better computer.

this doesnt help anything, i have a close to “top of the line” pc, while i dont really get that bad of fps lag during 3-way fights for sm, the real lag is server side, that being said it doesnt matter what kind of pc you have if the lag is server side, you’ll still get skill delay

its really no fun when the 1st place team in the tier a boatload of transfers guilds.

Paid transfers cant come quick enough….

Transfer guilds? I’m confused since we’ve only had 2 guilds join our server this week. Plus we’ve been recruiting very hard for a long time to actually get an Oceanic presence.

What you are mainly facing each and every day/night is our NA crew. We have all been staying up throughout the night to help out our boys on the Night crew.

Nor does SoR wish to have “band-wagon guilds” on said server. If you are a part of SoR you are about of the tight-knit WvW/PvE community we have. Not some “band-wagon” community.

No I never said that. A lot of people stopped playing while we fought BG for weeks and weeks. Most people just started doing PvE and waited for a new match-up without BG in it. The diehards like myself have always been on each and every day… But this match-up brought a lot of life back into many WvW players (and PvE’ers) who wanted to take part in it.

But to say we have gotten an influx of “band-wagon guilds” is insane. We’ve picked up two guilds from my knowledge as I said in my previous post.

i guess you missed the point of that comment, read it again with emphasis on always, i said that because of the guilds that have hopped on your already winning server, therefore you have full queues on all maps

That is definitely not the reason why we have queues on our maps, but it is a big help. Comments above yours will explain why we currently do. And if you mean by winning first place, we haven’t been “winning” for quite a long time.

Next time explain it rather than having people try and guess what you mean. Because your first statement hinted that you hate how SoR has gotten a ton of guilds since we are currently in 1st place in the leaderboard (point-wise). Then you changed it and said something totally opposite…

you get suppressed when your saying the majority of things in that particular channel. so if you can get people following you to simply type “.” or something you wont get suppressed. but yeah it would be nice if you couldn’t get suppressed while being a commander but you know people would just spend 100g to spam so just try your best to work with what you’ve got

yeah i agree this is a little lame but its goes hand in hand with alt-f4ing therefore makes sense to me, you could be in a borderland and get a queue for another while in combat and if this wasent in place its basically the same as alt-f4ing so, just deal with it

To HB on Blackgate, you guys are tough but fun bunch to fight, out of the numerous times you guys wiped us (PiNK, and some pugs) we did manage to wipe you guys at gods, heh. That being said, hats off to you guys, and good luck in T1

yeah i agree this gets really bad when there is a 3-way fight for stonemist but thats really the only time it happens, there’s alot of people in that small area, not much you can do about it. as someone said its server lagg, not your connection

seeing as hacks and whatnot only affect the PvP community anet will focus on what is messing with their market (bots lowering prices of T6 materials mostly) which affects the game as a whole.

why are people still complaining this? them sitting there provides no tactical advantage, just walk away…

this isnt working at all, yes i can see enemies a little better but that change doesnt warrant me not being about to see half my teammates, please just revert this change, its a step in the right direction but gone horribly wrong

Yes but in some match-ups that wouldnt work, take my server for example (Tarnished Coast) if we we’re to move up to Tier 2 without actually earning it we will get crushed by any one of the server in t2 (BG,SOR,IOJ) people just need to accept the fact that this is the ranking system they chose and it is designed to pit even servers against eachother, Week after week, so on and so forth. While changes in ranking will be rare in T3 (T1, and T2) they will still happen every so often

im beginning to think that either we wont get a fix for atleast a few months, or never get one. it’d be nice if anet would be straight up with us and just tell us its not possible

The real problem is the rendering issue which Anet fails to address and “fix” (can it even be fixed?). Anyways, nerfing thieves into the ground isn’t a good solution.

You’re one of those straight up kitten yeah? Arenanet has acknowledged that problem and has stated they’re working on a delicate fix many times now.

Yeah well its pretty lame that they have to essentially nerf a class because they cant fix their own kitten engine
