Keeping minstrel would actually speed up games in the long run. By taking that one extreme support or bunker build you can then run a much glassier setup. 1 minstrel 3 zerk and 1 bruiser would become a viable comp, which results in much more burst play and exciting res situations that get the audience on the edge of their seat. You are complaining about slow boring games, which is exactly what the cele meta produces. Noone wants to watch a bunch of wet noodles flopping arond

Ok but do something! Really I feel like the lingering light change was all that was needed to bring druid back into the fold. Before LL caused 0 power damage to be delt due to blinds, so only condi oriented builds were able to kill druids. Now without the blindspam you wont see those 3v1s that anet ruled as unhealthy gameplay. As long as 2 power, 2 condi, or one of each can kill anything in 20-30 sec id call that balanced. Tbe 3v1s that people are complaining about invilve 3 cele bruisers that imo shouldnt be able to kill a full bunker druid or guard.
Its simple risk v reward, you cant have both as a bruiser

It really is digusting how HoT destroyed this games balance. EVERY class has at least 1 viable spec, with multiple classes having more than one viable spec. Teams were not forced into taking 4 cele sustain and could syngergize their extreme damage with bunker healers.

This is an extremely terrible decision. Yes mistrel druid was completely out of place with minstrel ONLY because lingering light provided enough blinds to totally negate power damage. Even if I am wrong and druid is still very OP with minstrel that is a profession specific problem. Bunker guard is an extremely important role to many comps. And without it everyone is forced into running 3-5 cele which is more boring than 1 bunker imo. Bunkers allowed for glass while all cele allows for is more cele. Please. Revert. This. Change.

Druid really isnt overpowered at the moment, people are just kittened and have no clue how to deal with them. 1 stability and 0 stunbreaks = try to actually cc before blowing all ur cooldowns like a solo q hero

At the high tier, this is actually false. In response to the insane damage capability teams are bunking up, causing extremely long fights and thus extremely long games. If their intent was a faster pace it has undoubtedly backfired.

Silverkey you are right to an extent, but the biggest problem I have faced hasn’t been singularly cc, condis, or power damage but rather all 3 at once. Because blink is 1 of 2 stunbreaks but also the biggest lifesavor in terms of disengauge, getting cced dosent instantly kitten you it kittens you over time. Mesmers as of now just dont have the utility slots or condi removal to adequetly survive, in part because they are required to take portal and a teamfighting elite to stay viable in terms of team utility. Mesmer needs more availabilty to clense and stability of they are going to keep going away from stealth reliance. As of now this could be possible although the defensive lines cannot be taken as the offensive lines are mandatory if the mesmer is to stay relevant in terms of damage

Please stop the nerf chronomancer threads. Chronomancer is actually in an extremely bad spot as of now in competitive play. Sure it can do some serious stunlock dps against an unsuspecting squishy in solo q matches but at the competetice level it requires domanation dueling and chrono to deal damage anywhere even close to dragon hunter or rev. It has a 2 2.5sec blocks, 1 distortion, 1 blink and then its dead. If there is a half decent thief, DH or rev on the other team the chrono is by far more of a liability than a boon. There is a reason NA saw no chronos in use in todays ESL, and even Helseth was eating kitten more offen than not.

TLDR: chrono is terrible at the competetice level

The mirror portion of this trait completly wrecks it imo. When stealthing up and trying to escape via blink or for that matter simply using MI often leads to either reveal or the wasting of evades to block otherwise harmless attacks. Take the mirror off this trait and I will be more than happy.

As a note, we’re aware of the odd interaction between elementalist downstate and Vampirism runes and are tracking a fix for an upcoming build.

Rune of Vamp downstate bug was fixed on Tuesday.

Why exactly was this not announced prior to the ESL monthly finals that just took place? I feel this had a significant impact on the outcome of several matches, I personally know I would have fared far better if I had vamp to deal with taunt+cc bursts.

Because it was going to have a significant outcome on several matches that included people exploiting an advantage provided by an obviously bugged rune set. Shouldn’t come to depend on game bugs to bolster your performance or playstyle, they can go away at any time.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about, my point is that the rune set wasn’t bugged during the monthly final due to the stealth fix the day before, but nobody knew about it so nobody ran it.

I loled so hard i almost died. You are really complaining about not having vamp runes to help with burst. Youre a kittening dd ele man lol. Vamp runes are like welfare, all they do is create dependency lolololol

This is so much kittening worse than the last meta. Either all bunker guards and dd eles or kittening zerk classes with 3 kittening invulns to save their kitten from any spike damage.
