I stopped reading so not sure if anyone answers your question.

Rangers have an elite spirit that has a 2 sec cast time on an instant res around it. If the ranger times it right, before he downs he casts that, he gets back up as the spirit finishes its cast.

Engineer has an elixir that he can drop on the ground before he dies that heals fallen allies (or something) for 20% health a tick or so (not sure, I’m not a engi) and will revive him if you don out dps it.

He’s from Borlis….. move along folks.

Also, with sword 2 target a mob that is behind you, doesn’t mater the distance, and just press 2 then deselect the target (assuming you have auto-targeting off) start running after the guy and press 2 again.

I just started playing ranger again so this is only video I have. However, in the 2nd fight you’ll see what i’m talking about, i use this method to gain some distance.

Yay no more fighting the scrubs that Kain and Yak are.

You’re blinding the ranger, not the pet. A BM build would most likely kill the thief you’re talking about. Any P/P thief I’ve ran into was a joke. That’s probably the reason you don’t see many in wvw. (On my server at least)

Make sure you’re not in your youtube app or whatever. It’s how I watch stuff on my iphone.

I have that Samsung Galaxy tablet but I’ll try that out. Honestly if youtube could be more user friendly…

This is Xsorus build I was trying out, I don’t have a problem with them at all. Other than 2 zerker theives…. that’s just annoying. This build played right can pretty much solo anything.

This was yesterday in EBJP but same situations happen while flipping camps/roaming solo/small group. Rangers can leap out of the fight quite often if needed, turn off auto targeting.

Here’s something for the people that thought that fight was just auto-attacking.

Well I see the progress bar still has about 25% left after the animation finishes. I’m just wondering if the stomp is still faster, or i’m wasting my time swapping pets.

Is this broken? I swap pets for quickness and then I see my guy go through the animation, but the stomp isn’t finished. Is just the animation sped up 50%? Or is there a bug?

You’re arguing an up-hill battle here. People join this game because BiS will be no problem. Now if you want to look cool, that’s where you have to work for it. Now you are arguing that these ascended gear “isn’t necessary”, that’s not the point. Right now it is BiS and with the amount of time people are putting in, they should be able to get it.

Also, most competitive players want full ascended gear. I want my gear to be the best, so that I know when I lose it’s all because of my skill, not that he was in full ascended and I only have my back piece.

We included the laurel cost to prevent the economy from suddenly being blown out and to not invalidate the ways PvE players can get ascended items already. This system means that it is faster to get them in WvW, especially for players who already have badges, without being so much faster that everyone only gets them in this manner. As for the difficulty of acquiring laurels in WvW, we have taken steps to address that, including the fact that there will always be 3 daily achievements that are WvW specific. Speaking personally, I’ve been able to achieve my dailies in WvW even without that change, but this should make it even easier.

I think most people are upset with the rate that laurels are earned. How many months to gear 1 character out with ascended in WvW only? I play 2 different lvl 80’s. Guess I have to pick which one gets the better gear this year, and who has to wait until next year. woot woot

ps: oh and i’m sure there are people with 8 lvl 80’s, bet they will have fun finally finishing all their characters in 2020.

I think I’ll post my time on kaineng, I transferred maybe a month ago to the server to play more Spvp with some friends and because their guild ran zerg buster, kaineng dropped into mag’s tier the next week. I expected to be called a spy, once or twice, people to be hesitant and I play EU time, which is a pretty weak spot in most server’s timezones, maybe I’d have been a godsend, a disgusting godsend maybe but a godsend none the less.

My first day on in this tier went okay, I started off roaming in EB, and then some people started to follow me shrug So I pop my tag on and start leading an attack, great! Actually being able to do stuff on one of the first days I joined the server! 5 minutes later some great person spams, iirc the following in chat ‘’COLHEARTH IS MAG SPY DON’T FOLLOW OR U DIE’’ Okay…I was kind of expecting something similiar to happen so I tried to explain that I’m not a spy and if I wanted to spy why would I wear my darp tag with my icon on, at which point I was told I was a terrible spy….Thanks. At any rate map chat became a roar of ‘’Dat colherth is an spy’’ So I lost anyone following me and turned my tag off…How open of kaineng to accept transfers, transfers who hadn’t moved server since bwe1 and had purely played wvw for over a thousand hours, man.
Rinse and repeat, I joined this server to help out, I couldn’t care less about the score and all I wanted were some good fights against some buds, I managed to get one or two fights before being ousted as the worst spy in the history of forever. The same happened my whole time on kaineng, I decided it was time to transfer home when I got mass reported by XF for being a spy and using up supply and buying upgrades we didn’t need….while dancing, while they were near and insulted me for dancing….
Even though I was already here, I would have stayed if I’d enjoyed it more than mag, I get ousted, someone with more experience than most of your pugs. Even though I was a turn coat my guild funded my return, thanks <3

PS kaineng, you have the worst intercommunication I’ve ever seen. You need to work on that…Seriously.

So, KN is a cesspool of bile and hatred and the sooner they fall to T4 the better. Got it. Yet Maguuma is always poked at for having a “malicious” community. Tbh, Mag has one of the best, if not THE best, WvW communities of any server. All the guilds know each other, are friendly with each other, and work together. It’s part of the reason why we’re one of the more stable servers in the game.

This maybe true, but your attitude towards opponent’s stinks. The lack of respect and class is what other servers dislike about you gummies. Its a constant mud flinging, chest pounding drama filled punch in the nose. Where I come from, the way you win represents the kind of person you are. The way I see it, right now is that you guys can’t handle winning gracefully, I would sure hate to see how you guys handle losing. All in all its been a tough fight, and you guys have bested us the last couple weeks but we will keep going and fighting on the battlefield where the war is supposed to be fought, and hopefully at the end we can get up, dust off shake hands and proceed to the next week.

Not really true at all, that’s your opinion, I play to have fun first, winning is only part of that equation having a fun time with guild mates and socializing is equally as important to me, and I lead people while joking and listening to tunes, it’s very relaxing

Not only did I not retrait, I used a healing power mace from my old healing spec and a condition damage focus, and I don’t believe I even used my heal against you.

WvW builds are different, you just didn’t change yours at all. You could have equipped different abilities. But instead, you decided to keep your same build/traits and use your book in a 1v1 fight. Which shows that you only know how to play one way. You zerg and have the tankiest build possible hoping that other people will kill for you.

There are other aspects to this game. Paralda just knew that he was going into a 1v1 fight and switched up gear/traits so that he would have a better chance. You could have done the same.

Ok I went back and checked. You are partially right. You didn’t say “I bought this game to have fun, not to follow orders.” It was Zero who said that.

So this means that:

-The guild mission of WaR is indeed mandatory, because 3 guild leaders and an officer said “Show up or you will get punished.”
-You feel WaR is a carefree guild.

I personally do not see how “mandatory guild missions” and a “carefree guild” can go hand in hand. Look:

An officer (Zero) was threatened with punishment, and then actually punished, because he refused to do guild missions. This all occurred in public mumble with 50+ people (many non-guild members) because the guild leadership wants to publicly humiliate Zero.

So my point still stands. I don’t know how your guild WaR operates. But it sickens me just hearing how your guild treats an officer while he was still serving.

I recommend that you reevaluate what you want and what your guild wants, and then decide if you want to stay or leave.

You can have mandatory guild missions and a carefree guild. Guild missions are every Sunday at a set time so people can be done with whatever they have going on. They only last about an hour and are always a fun guild bonding experience!

You don’t know the reasons why things happened publicly, not my place to tell. For that reason, I’m done talking about the issue.

Yeah I’ve noticed this too. After I would use sword #3 and then press it again to swap, it wouldn’t go off, but I would have already pressed #2 for frenzy. So I would be standing in the wrong spot using blurred frenzy.

That live stream was kind of a joke. I run around taking camps solo. I stopped watching after you fought with a zerg in a supply camp, at least that’s what I kinda remember, wasn’t really paying attention.
