Orbs would be nice. It wouldn’t be tough to make it so the orb couldn’t be moved unless guild claimer is dead or having to kill all the guards protecting it. But whatever.

Haven’t been roaming much these last few weeks, had a few good fights. [Fire]bad had to keep bringing more people each time to fight us.

I think it’s time we had a discussion about this shameful practice. I’ve been playing WvW since launch and have witnessed multiple incidents of intentional double-teaming. Sometimes servers unintentionally hit the same target, but I’m talking about commanders from two servers colluding to gang up on the third server. I’ve never done it and I think it should be considered dishonorable and tantamount to cheating. The whole point of WvW is that it’s a 3 way match up. It’s gotten to the point where I think Anet should implement some changes to help discourage this kind of knavery. This recent match up (I won’t mention servers) I was shocked because one server approached us to team up against the third server. Our noble commanders declined. Then the server that approached us teamed up with the other server to “get us back” for not teaming up with them. As if we were offending them by NOT wanting to cheat. It’s gone too far.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on what can be done to prevent or discourage teaming up. Can it be fixed? Should it be fixed? Is it cheating? Discuss…

It still does the same damage, and the SB3-5 got slight damage boosts. Tell me why losing 300 range makes you sigh.

because it will lessen my effectivity in wvw a lot. don’t ask me why, it’s just related to one of the things i do in wvw.

about the dmg buffs to other sb skills, tell me why you didn’t read the posts explaining how that doesn’t make a bit of difference.

Anyone who thought SB should have the same range as LB is fooling themselves.

you guys must be getting killed by 1 person and are upset about it. There is nothing wrong with stealth spiking. You can still aoe pull, knock back, stun, 100 blades, or anything to stop them.

Simple as making the Orbs unattainable unless owning northern 2 towers and garrison in the map or something similar.

No I hate auto-target. Yes, if someone stealths then I can’t use my number 2. But being blinded only stops the clone spawning not the teleport. I think we have started arguing about different things lol.

Ha yeah, wasn’t arguing, we were kind of agreeing on the same thing. I said l2p because of blind (not that it will mess up a mesmer) and stealth does mess up a mesmer because they need a target.

It isn’t a learn to play issue. We still teleport even if we are blinded. The clone just doesn’t spawn. The teleport function is messed up.

However, i’d have to point out how utterly unbalanced downed states are. Most professions can be finished with a simple Blind, because their interupt will then Miss. While some other professions (thief/ele/mesmer) dont care about anything and have a pretty much guarenteed “get out of jail free”-card.

Actually, for Mesmer since we can’t pick where it teleports us to the move actually doesn’t always work. It will sometimes teleport us even closer to the enemy or just beside him and because we are still close the stomp will still land. ALSO, the game feels it is important to put a giant red triangle above the real Mesmer so that doesn’t confuse anyone unless they are nooby.

Actually, l2p and watch for blindness and use your #1 attack to get rid of blindness then use your interrupt. ALSO, mesmers need a target to use their #2 ability, so if a thief stealths and there’s no target around they are boned.

Fix it. Now. Please.

actually I farmed them…. I WP around and kill the holographic mobs, pretty easy but long and boring farm.

lawl… keep practicing, bud. You’ll get there. You can start with GvG against some low-skill opponents like PYRO, and then move up from there until you hit the DB pug-level skill ceiling

PYRO is on our server so we can’t GvG them. Is BP up for a GvG?

There was a reason why BP asked Yak’s guilds for GvG a few weeks back, and not the Mags guilds. There is nothing BP gains by beating unskilled guilds with bad attitude (PYRO, DARP etc.). Again, you can try.

rofl we have the unskilled guilds? We run into a lot of your guilds running a group from your server and they all seem to run or fall flat on their faces.

Naw we are still up and running. We could have died if we had moved to Mag like 4 of your guilds were begging us to, but after a long talk in guild our choices were downgrade to Mag or move to a server with more options for our PVP and PVE members.

What happened with PRO is their business and has nothing to do with GASM.

I might be wrong about this, but Borlis Pass was matched against Anvil Rock last week. Look at the sPvP ladder and notice that most of the top players are on Anvil Rock. If any server has players which are better at small skirmishes and team fights, it would be players in that tier. They are the ones fighting with and against the best sPvP players in the game.

Borlis Pass is a joke. You can fight ‘with and against the best sPvP players’ all you want. sPvP is a totally different ball game. Also just because you played basketball with Michael Jordan once, doesn’t make you a pro.
