Turn down graphics to absolute minimum or
change your OS to 64bit and build more ram into your pc.My Graphics are turned down to an absolute minimum. I will not change my OS to 64 bit, and the 64 bit clients are running into the same issue. I have played GW2 since release on this computer with one exception. I did change my video card months ago and that is not the issue.
I can play games with higher requirements on my system than the System Requirements of GW2 HoT.
If I compare my system to that system specs of “Can I run it”, my specs more than clear the benchmark for playing Guild Wars 2.
So for someone who does not work for ANet to comment is either trolling, or a busybody who actually does not know what he’s talking about.
1) Continue to crash and wait for some fix sometime in the future
or
2) Upgrade your systemIt is your choice.
And please show me the posts of players using the 64bit client with at least 8 gb ram running into OOM crashes. I’m genuinely curious about that because most say that the crashes stopped completely and I personally have seen only one such post.
And in that case the log suggested that the error was caused by something else.Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 10240) (10240.th1_st1.151104-1714)

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz

I’m telling you to post the crash log so that I can confirm that you get indeed OOM crashes with that pc.

Easy solution.
Use the 64bit client.

You’ve removed the first part which is import since it shows the cause of the error.
My best guess is that you have an OOM crash and are you using the 32bit client.
Try the 64bit client.

Your best bet is to upgrade your OS to 64-bit. Many Windows keys allow you to do this at no cost.
Good luck.
And then the guy right below you posts he is crashing with x64….
But since he didn’t post the crash log we don’t know for what reason.
Crashes can have many different causes. If people don’t post the full crash log it is impossible to tell.
The cause of the crash for Tungsten Monarch is that he is using 32bit which causes an OOM error. He will also very likely need to build more ram in his pc.

Post the crash log.
[SPQR]
Could you post the crash log that happens when you use “-repair”?
[SPQR]
According to the crash log you are still using the old client.
Did you follow these steps or did you do anything else?
•Download the 64-bit client.
•Copy the downloaded program into your Guild Wars 2 game folder.
•Update any shortcuts to the game to point to the new file instead.
[SPQR]
Any error messages?

Have you tried running the game on the new 64-bit client? Doing so has solved a vast majority of the problems people were having with DS crashes, from what I hear.

You read the part about the Magnetite shards?
“This currency is not intended as a primary way to obtain the boss rewards, but it is intended to provide a means for people unlucky with drops to be able to work toward getting a specific reward that they desire.”

@Thanks.6859
You are still only posting a rather useless part of the log.
Please post the whole crash log.
Or just attach the file
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2\ArenaNet.log
to your post.

There are plans to add further elite specialisations in the future but you will be only be allowed to use one at the same time.
That’s why you can use them only in the last slot. You might notice that this one has a special border which differentiates it from the other slots.

I have 64 bit system and 10 gigs of ram! This is happening to me too! No response from Anet and game is almost unplayable.
You are using the 64-bit client?
Can you post the crash log?

File name:HMIPCore.dll
Publisher:My Privacy Tools, Inc. (signed by My Privacy Tools, Inc)
Product:My Privacy Tools SecureNet Service. This is what is crashing you. Probably going to have to remove it.
I am not able to find this in my PC. Can you help with the path?
That’s because you have a completely different error according to your screenshot here.
If the error log doesn’t have the line “Module: HMIPCore.dll” this won’t help you.

HMIPCore.dll is causing the crashes.
You should remove that.

Tokens are unfortunately also soulbound.
