ArenaNet was keen to emphasise more Mastery Lines will be added in future patches, but it estimates collecting all 39 Masteries coming at launch will likely take players as long as levelling from 1-80. The good news is the system is account-wide, meaning once they’ve been earned on one character you’ll have them on them all.

So it’ll only take a week to get all the masteries? That’s how long it took a lot of people when the game first launched to make 80 without craft leveling, swapping at end of dungeons, tomes, etc.

Not sure where this info came from on it taking the same amount of time as getting from levels 1-80 -> but simply put it’s incorrect.

A) We haven’t decided how long it’ll take to earn them all, and are doing beta weekends to help decide a good time length.

B) Currently as timed in game today, it would take a good deal longer than that in total game hours to earn all the mastery lines.

Looks like WinAuth was not allowed to save it’s configuration due to some program/process on your machine not allowing it. If you did not write down the secret key anywhere it is lost and you will need to write to support to get it unlinked.

WinAuth is not malware, it works just fine.

Probably this.
Check whether c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\WinAuth\winauth.xml exists.
If it does you can import the file in WinAuth.

And what happens when you start WinAuth?

I installed the desktop version of this invasive and inaccessible garbage on my #1 account.

I have to click to accept it as it starts up when Windows starts, but then it fails to give any authentication codes for the forum or the game.

In addition, there is no way to uninstall this malware since it fails to appear on my Programs and Features list. Luckily I have this second account to post here. I will not be activating this malware on this account.

I cannot access GuzziHero.2467 at all, anywhere. I cannot remove WinAuth and attempt to reinstall it.

The guild halls will have a battleground where you can fight other guilds as far as I understand it.

It does work. The combat log just doesn’t show it.
Tested it in pvp together with sigil of air.

Giving them some sort of significant use may give roamers a reason to travel across the map, for example sentries capped now show enemy players in a radius around the sentry. They said that one can enable some sort of barrier around the edge that prevents falling off.

Ascended Gear will be staying 5% better than Exotic Gear. Gear beyond the tiers we already have are not going to be added and our existing tiers won’t change, they won’t be our main end-game form of progression for your characters/account for all the reasons we’ve covered before – it isn’t what we think Gw2 is about.

What I got from the post was “go big or go home…” in other words… you will have to stack a kittenlaod of a condition type to make it worth while to play any type of condi build at all…. to hit that 700 dmg mark takes 15 stacks and at that point he says you are breaking even. I dont know about some of the rest of you, but when I play anythingthat is not condi build, i rarely get or maintain 15 stacks of anything. If I play a build focused on that condi, then yes I can get a bit more and maintain it. But doingthat requires full dedication to the build forcing a player to play a certain build to be effective.

The 700 condition damage refers to the Attribute not the amount of stacks.

Last I checked, the fix was being tested against everyone’s account that was affected by the issue. The fix isn’t something that we can rush out in a hotfix, it’s really complicated and really risky. Sorry about the inconvenience.

It seems to be lag related.

Basically they are not lying down on the location shown ingame. They can still be killed if you find the real location.

btw: They can’t be rezzed too, so also a disadvantage.

They changed the whole trait system last year. The unlock happens automatically now.
