Avoiding mechanics by standing in a singular area isn’t an exploit, it’s possible bad dungeon design (for example the cage room in the newer flame and frost fractal…sorry I can’t remember the name of the dungeon it’s late). In that fight there are areas in which you can avoid almost the entire fight mechanic, that’s an example of poor dungeon mechanic design.
Standing on a rock/ledge/platform while the boss attempts to hit you from below (yes there are some bosses that still have abilities that hit you), is a problem with pathing and the boss not resetting when it can’t reach the target. This is exploiting a bug.
Kiting and using geometry (running AROUND pillars and such) is a perfectly valid tactic.
Standing outside a stationary boss’s range is not an exploit, the boss “should” reset after an extended period of time, but is not. This is an example of poor boss implementation, and not an exploit.
Using terrain to block/dodge boss mechanics is also considered a valid tactic (standing behind a pillar when a boss charges).
At this point we are getting very nitpicky at each individual boss and each mechanic in question. I’m sure most of you are aware of what is an exploit and what is a mechanic/tactic. We are working on fixing these “Safe Spots”, but it’s going to take some time to get it done, and will probably happen over time. (Sorry I am not going to go into particulars for fights/changes)

If a GM finds a player that is using a “Safe Spot”, that player will be moved out of the safe spot and warned (via in-game text). They changed the level at which utility skills unlock with the npe patch.
If you have unlocked the slot pre-patch you can use the skill but not change it until you reach the necessary level.
For utility skill 1 you need to be level 13.

I actually like it as it is, it rarely is a problem to me.
What is a problem is the condi damage that still ticks somewhere and triggers revealed. I’ve learned to wait a bit until the last arrow of my shortbow is shot but I feel I have no say in the condi ticks.

4) Group play REQUIRED for PERSONAL story progression: The personal story tracks are a wonderful innovation in MMO gaming. Sometimes you even feel like you have some control over how your story progresses (although this is extremely limited). However, it becomes less and less of a personal story when there is no way to complete the story objectives in solo play. The epic quest quality of the story is great. But, if it is supposed to be a personal story, the objectives should be achievable for the person – not the person and as many friends as he can get to go along with him at the time.
I understand that the very name of the game is Guild Wars, indicating that people would band together in Guilds. And so that should mean that people group together for one reason or another naturally in such a game. But, not everyone limits playing the game to when they can group together with their guild-mates. And not everyone is comfortable playing with people they don’t know.
I understand that the dungeon instances, events labeled [group], world bosses, and even some monsters require grouping. And I think that is wonderful. But, if you are going to have “personal” stories, don’t design the story chapters such that they can only be completed by cooperative play. Not just talking about combat, but tasks that require cooperative coordination between 2 or more characters just to open a door or complete a task. If group play is going to be required for a chapter, it should be indicated prior to entering that story instance. Otherwise it is extremely frustrating to the player.
Except for Arah Story every part of the personal story can be done solo.
Or at least I don’t know of any part that requires other players.
The same can be said for the LS2 except for some achievements.

The percentage is always based on the remaining files at the beginning.
For example you download 90% and close the installer.
If you start the installer again it will only download the last remaining 10% but will base the percentage on those 10% and so start with 1%.

ArenaNet uses a very interesting password checker tool. I am not sure it is unique in the online gaming world but it is rare and very powerful. It starts with a black list of 10s of millions of passwords that come from lots of different places. Any password used by a GW2 player is added so it cannot be used again. That way passwords that are already know to account thieves (from other sources) can never be used again here. It really goes a long way in making your game account secure.
Now the biggest problem with your short password is just that. It is too short. You should really use something in the neighborhood of 20+ characters. Good passwords are four or five non related words strung together. Something like “BannanaTroubleRazorDogFarming”. You can make it something easy to remember but would be very difficult to use a dictionary hack or simple password guesser to find it.

The game crashes due to an out of memory error.
Until Anet releases a 64bit client you can only lower your graphic settings to avoid such errors.
Deactivate High-Res Character Textures and set Character Model Limit to Low.
At least that prevented those crashes for me.

Sorry if my op wasn’t getting across what I meant. I’m not saying the game has a trinity right now in any way.
What I’m saying is at least in my server the lfg is nothing except warriors, guardians, eles, and sometimes a mesmer. I try joining as a s/d ranger I got booted. I tried going in on my d/p thief I get booted. My main suggestion was an actual dungeon queue for people who experience this issue and don’t care who they play with they just want to play. But just not on a specific wanted class just to get into groups.
Make your own lfg.

What I personaly want in SPvP? 1v1 arenas, ladder, tournaments. I am not team player I want just kill opponents and dont care about capturing points.
This and the restricted gear are the main points that I stick to WvW when I want to PvP.

Maybe if they gave cast time to thief skills so you can’t just macro 6 skills in 0.02 of a second it would make things better. I’m constantly amused by my combat log on a staff ele that in the one full second (it’s actually longer) for my staff auto attack to go sailing off to miss the by now stealthed and 2000 ranged away thief that there is a huge pile of numbers from the other player.

I write about same before. Instant kill is not challenge play. I saw thief instant kill other player in less 30 second; i saw elementalist instant kill other player in less 30 second, i saw engineer instant kill other player in less 30-60 second; i saw ranger instant kill in less 1 minute; i do not know why these class are not make challenge and in wvw?
Before join gw2 i read wvw for fight against other player so i want to experience. I level fast to join wvw and was surprise by class that have no challenge. First time in wvw; i was instant kill and not know why die fast? I try change to bunker and still instant kill.
Last; why is fair for instant kill class to play all build but other class not? All time i hear; play bunker, use more defensive, use more buff foods but why not other instant kill class?
If i play challenge other class should do same; no excuse, no cheat, no fault for not play challenge.
Example; in fight; use fist and than somebody use stick.. is fight fair? So person who lose by stick is fault? If person lost did not saw stick hit fast to defense; is same fault?

Instant normally refers to something that happens in lets say 1 second. Too fast that one could react.
A kill in 30 to 60 seconds is not instant and depending on the abilities of the players this is possible for every class.
