I have the same bug.
Since the patch on Monday my custom music for the boss battles is no longer working during Tequatl, Jormag etc. Instead I get to hear the normal music for those battles.
I think my other playlists are affected too but I haven’t tested them.

Maybe this can help.
It’s a glitch that happens when you post LFG ads with any other status other than ‘online.’ I used to b*tch about this a lot around a year ago.
Any time I’d have status as either ‘invisible’ or ‘away,’ my LFG was using the opposite region’s and I’d have to apologize to any parties I joined only to get prompted with a network error.
Restarting the client fixes the issue when it happens but make sure you keep the status on ‘online’ otherwise the problem will persist.

Season 1 consisted of temporary events which took place between October 2012 and
March 2014.
There is currently no way for players to play it.
Season 2 consists of replayable chapters that are either unlocked due to being online during the release time or by buying them with gems.
Anet said that they would like to change Season 1 to the same format that Season 2 has but have given no timeframe for it.
If you have Chapter 1 unlocked you should be able to switch to it. Otherwise you need to unlock it in order to play it.

Even if they get all badges through achievement chests they still need lvl 14 in WvW. Which needs them to play either EoTM (like it or not its part of wvw and some pvp will happen, although its little more than a big champ train with some pvp in the middle) or Regular WvW.

Everything that is good for the “small guy” is even better for the “big guy”. There is
no way to nerf the zerg (we can’t even define what a zerg is….).But lets talk again when the zerg built a dozen shield generators in open field to make short work of your havoc team (or whatever) or when he, because he can, controls all shrines and your small group is getting even more disadvantaged.
Well if we define a zerg as most players from one server running together they won’t be able to control all shrines.
According to the stream shrines are soloable so if one server doesn’t split up they will be left with the minority of them depending on the distances between the shrines.
It doesn’t solve the problems that come with population imbalance but it makes splitting up and roamers more important.

The only reason you would ever be able to play mindlessly and not think is if your enemies are letting you do that. I’m not surprised to see a YB liking a map that’s designed to make hiding behind walls and never fighting as easy as possible.

So am I reading this right this map is completely replacing the old BL maps? So no option for ppl who end up not liking the new map to play on the BLs we use now? Sooooo if this map flops and people dont like it the only map people who enjoy open field fights and dont want siege interference or pve stuff going on will be EB?
I was for this map as a cool thing to try out but replacing the current BLs completely is a huge risk.

The badges of honor are an extra bonus – speaking of which, don’t do most players go for world-completion to get the “Gift of Exploration” anyways? Because you’d still need to go into WvW for badges, to make a legendary, so i guess we still can call it “PvPvE”…? (aside from the fact, that you often need to kill vet or champ-mobs)
You also get badges from the achievement chests. WvW is no longer in any way required for legendary weapons with this change.

It’s a joke, remember when they added a rank requirement of 14 to purchase the gift of battle but then removed it shortly after because it was too difficult to achieve? 14 wvw ranks are too difficult to achieve for pve folks and now they removed wvw maps from world completion. As a player who mostly does wvw and is r2100+, I found it 100 times more frustrating and boring doing the pve zones than I did doing the wvw ones. If they are staying this course, they should at least give us the option of purchasing the gift of exploration with 500 badges of honor like the gift of battle. Add being a rank of lvl 14 to it if you need to anet, since that is so difficult for pve players to get.
According to the wiki the rank requirement for the gift of battle is still there.
Not that it means much as one can just buy ranks with laurels.

Elementalists: I found myself in a match with one who was taking damage but their hp bar never moved. Conditions could not be applied to him even though they were cast every few seconds (playing a scepter necro). The fight lasted about 45 seconds before i was killed, he still had 100% hp at the end of it with 0 conditions
Can anyone explain to me how they are able to do this?

the battles are in no way hard, but they are boring, tedious and take too much time.
the boss battle especially.
u should base those battles off of Zelda when u repeat the cycle 3 times and that what gives the satisfaction. 3 times is not too much and not too little.the last battle in the living story took me an hour, after 4 times repeating the cycle I started watching tv, when he got to half health I went for a launch break.
seriously if it gets to the point when I do a battle only to finish it and do other stuff meanwhile it means the battle is bad designed.this is not hard, this is not challenging, this is just tedious.
If the battle took you an hour you did something wrong.

As far as I know most SD-builds use Acrobatics.

I also have a friend who plays a condi PD-build with Acrobatics instead of Shadows Arts.
I disagree with toughness being the stat of least value for thieves. When using Shadows Arts you usually don’t have to worry about conditions but direct damage.

No skills ever ignore Revealed status.
Mesmer’s decoy ignore revealed status, giving them stealth even when they are revealed.
That was changed a while back. It should work correctly now.

Just try it. In most cases lagging has more to do with your connection to the servers and not how optimized the game is.

- We are currently working to restore the Greatest Fear storyline to the live game. I can’t provide a release date at this point.
- In addition to restoring the Personal Story steps to their original order we’re making some minor improvements where possible (e.g. recording new VO or updating certain conversations, etc.).
