Well, if you look at the last part of the post I quoted “Red Resign day was nerfed by removing Hero Battles from the game.”, clearly they did not have another solution. I hope that is not the case this time around.

It’s not going to happen. Hero Battles in Guild Wars 1 were more akin to GW2’s PvP where the matches are structured and intended to be on a level playing field, not WvW where the matches are supposed to somewhat emulate the unfair nature of war.

Please, no more gemstore armor with Charr tail clipping. There have been a lot of sets of armor that I would love to have on my Charr in this game, the light and medium Zodiac sets included, but the same persistent issue of tail clipping comes to play. And with this set in particular, I cant even just simply use a different non-clipping top or leg piece because it looks awkward having all blue skin but that one section being normal skin.

What about us Charrs that dislike the original look. In dec 10th’s patch you FIXED horns being hidden, and the cloth on the back not sticking out (it looked more appropriate) and now charrs are back to having spent 500 gems on an item which looked decent after the fix, and horrible on them after you changed it back to what it was pre-dec 10th.

Do we get fixed? Or is this another “Charrs arent high enough player base, so tough kitten”

You have my sincerest apologies. We get so many bags from your server on a daily basis and it seems impossible to sell fast enough. But you’ll be happy to know we’re working to improve on that. Pretty funny to see BG and JQ paying guild to join their servers.

I have yet to see anything more than rumor and speculation that guilds were ever paid to join a server.

There is a difference between helping a guild (who in all likelihood was going to transfer anyway) get all of it’s members over by donating/loaning gold to them and outright paying them gold to transfer to a server.

How about we deal with facts, supported by real evidence, rather than this crap that’s going around lately?

I’ve talked to a friend. The guild got 100% paid.

If you get a collection of anecdotes it is not fact, just a pile of anecdotes. There are no problems with offering help for transfers if they legitimately want to come over – I also love the implication that if you help people out and not be a selfish kitten it is observed as a negative thing.

It’s one thing to help guilds out to get over to a server, it’s a whole other thing to throw money out and start begging guilds to come over like your server does. Buying guilds does not build a strong community and does not help your server.

SoR server covers all timezone pretty good its just that we are outnumbered specially for the asian/oceanic timezone. We have so far the best community and if you are looking for fights / competitiveness, You are in the right spot. tbh all a 1v1 shows is a servers holes in coverage

BG has the upper hand in SEA compared to SOR , SO they can tick high in that time and then push from there into EU like BG does

BG and JQ sea both very strong, BUT BG has the advantage durinng EU compared to JQ

now for BG/JQ/SOR

BG sea gets matched by JQ, and BG eu gets matched by SOR’s eu. So as u can see the 3 way of JQ BG SOR is the closest thing to even as it can get

in wvw coverage wins, and in 1v1 coverage becomes an even bigger advantage

SoR has the upper in EU and NA EST, we don’t have the upper in SEA. SoR has a huge SEA population and can compete but JQ demoralized your SEA to the point of no return.

BG’s strongest time has always been NA PST & Oceanic, and even then it’s an uphill battle.

We don’t need a clever commander nor do we need a huge guild. Inexperience can be trained up and a rightfully speced group in coms can easily wipe groups that greatly outnumber them.

The biggest thing we need tho, is players, and or guilds, that are in it for the long run. Ones that aren’t concerned really with the ppt, but being part of a community that they can work and have fun with.

If we could could get more people like this during these timezones, then we could make the fights a lot more enjoyable.

You know that one the story achievements are live, you’ll need neither the dragon ball or the moa races for the meta? There are 15 total, so if those 3 are removed from your list you’ll still have enough for wings.

Easily beat lol sor was 3rd for months and months and only the last two weeks has done anything. You guys pulled in the 2nd eu server and eu is our weakest time zone not that our eu players are not fantastic because they are, but its hard to match those numbers. We have been working on it though and will soon be back to #1. Remember we are the giant slayers and we look forward to a match up where JQ is not a factor.

Work on bringing your community more together first of all. Getting more guilds will help you out for a while but if they are getting stressed and dont feel at home then they’ll just start peacing out, breaking apart, or transferring to other servers.

1) Your own server mates literally invited the 2v1 on the forum
2) SoR pioneered the spawn camp 2v1, and tries it constantly

People like to think they are special when in reality they are not.

It’s amusing how much of an uproar BG’ers made from getting banned from SoR’s TS.

It’s not an exclusive club(or maybe it is the way you guys are making it out to be), it’s just a voip, and there are no lack of other ones to congregate on and be friendly with opposing servers if that is your desire.

Your right me and cuddles extend our apologies for being upset we got banned. We only thought that it was ok to talk to our SOR friends but your right for no reason other than being on BG we should be banned. My bad I thought this was a game but my mistake it’s obviously 3 countries at war and talking to the “enemy” is not ok, you gonna hang the SOR members that invited us? Or you just gonna ban them to?

Blame your server-mates, they’re the reason you’re banned. It only takes a few people to ruin it for everyone.

“Beyond the chest thumping of a few Rallians, who are probably just more excited about winning than anything else- so you’ll have to excuse them, this has turned out to be a fantastic match. I have to thank JQ and BG for coming out there and really putting the pressure on.

The thing is, we are looking for a challenge. The guilds that currently play on the server together play for not just good fights, but amazing fights and being #1 means nothing to us. And we did not get those last week. Last week on SoR, our NA guilds logged early, our asian guilds did pve, and our oceanics sang in ts. Whether by your choice or not, I will make sure that SoR is tested either through a welcomed 2v1 or by recruiting guilds to your servers as I am currently doing.

Fact of the matter is, SoR is by nature a lean server, we shed a lot of fat in T2 when we logged into literally 0ppt for 11 weeks straight. Not all individuals have the resolute or the courage to face adversity like that and still keep fighting. That was our test then and it made us stronger, the fickle players left our server, the hardcore remained. Since becoming #1, we have gotten some fat from unannounced transfers, we once again need to be tested to shed the fat, quite frankly we hope you continue to 2v1 us into an oblivion. Those without spirit or resolution will be chased away. Those that remain shall be battle hardened further.

The Sanctum is the citadel in the skies where WvW legends reside. This is the place of true warriors who fight regardless of score or situation. There is a reason why SoR has the highest percentage of WvWers of any server and that isn’t by accident. We are the smallest server in the top 5, but most of the players on it are there for WvW but more importantly, they are there as brothers and sisters at arms.

The community on SoR is very fun, very mature, very organized and very close knit. In my 12 years of gaming, I have never found so many selfless, proud and strong players. It really is something special, with that being said, I salute our enemies and hope you guys will continue to bring the fight to us everyday."

Awesome fight in Hills a bit ago in SoR bl with Waha and your JQ guys. I want to say a special thanks to you and everyone else that was in it, that was probably one of the best fights I’ve had since i started this game when it was first released.

10/10 on the warrior.
I really like the armor combo. Doesn’t look overly bulky like most armors on Charrs and you have a great color combo with it.

7/10 on the ranger.
The mask bugs me. I like the armor and the color but the mask looks out of place with the dangley straps compared with the coat which looks organized and firmly secure with all it’s bags, loops, and straps lol.
