What’s all? That is not an answer to any of my questions. Was that overgrown wolf once a sylvan hound that Mordremoth corrupted? Or was it born that way and have nothing to do with the sylvan hounds? Or was it first transformed to Nightmare Hound?
Sorry if this was already discussed but I couldn’t find any topic.
Sylvan hounds are born from the Pale Tree the same as the Sylvari, so basically they are intended to be Mordremoth’s servants. What will happen now to them? Are they corruptible or the way Sylvari tame them is enough to keep them docile? Is the Dream keeping them save in some why too?
still nothing…
I just hope people won’t vote for King Doric. Lion’s Arch is a free city and should have nothing to do with a human king.
The only positive thing about it would be seeing Evon kittened :p
Dragon resurrector!
Dragon hunters need to hunt something after we kill all, don’t they?
The only problem I have with the name is if I’m a guardian and I guard and protect someone or something, why the hell should I turn and become a hunter all the sudden? I mean even in the blog post they say that he is supporting from the back lines. So why should he be called hunter?
Sorry if somebody already wrote this, but is a long topic.
I know, but they should put some there too. The labyrinth is always empty. It need some new rewards.
I hope that the T3 Greater Nightmare Pod will have a chance of giving a portal so ppl will be motivated to do the labyrinth again.
I’ve opened the same topic a month ago:

Still bugged
if they are invisible they cannot cap so I don’t think that is is the main reason you lost.
Is there a lore reason why the new hylek are so big? Especially the Nuhoch who seems to come from the same areas the hyleks we already know are. And are the zintl fanatics the same size as the Nuhoch or are they the size of “our” hyleks?
have the same issue.
There’s also the Carapace armor that needs LS completion to unlock, and the glowing blue version of Carapace, Luminescent, that needs LS achieves on top of completion.
Carapace is obtainable without LS.
Since they wear blindfolds are they immune to blind? that’s the real question.
Not sure if this was reported already but the Champion Mordrem Trasher in Iron Marches is not fighting back. It just goes up and down his path. Doing the Bottoms up achievement is impossible.
We estimate two to five weeks.
Does anyone know of any info on this?
We estimate two to five weeks.
wait for the PS fix or you will miss a big part of the story.
next 28 days on pvp winner profession. And is not bad, is worse. Mesmer only 3 times, necro 4, while engi and guardian got 10 dailies.
Am I the only one who thinks this need to be adjusted?
Same thing with the Ancient Stone Summit Shoulder Spike for treasure hunter collection. The event never restart.
They told us the duration of the Ram Festival would be two weeks.
that does not mean that the vendor can’t stay in game for one more day.
Tonight I was doing for the umpteenth time the event. Died at defending the ammo cos nobody does that at top lane and collecting the ammo is so hard (/sarcasm off) so i wp and run back. While I was running the lane started to kill the champ and I was left out and couldn’t get in. When they killed the champ I finally entered the room and saw the chest open and thought "great, now I won’t even be able to loot it. But I did. And I got my last coat chest. I’m so happy I could cry.
since the event started i’ve done it at least twice a day every day and I only got 1 (one) box after the one you get the first time.
and don’t forget to delete all that connects to gw1. I’ve never played that.
For the last 28 days I was collecting the date of how much a profession is chosen for the daily winner pvp. And the results are not good. In the attachment you can see the results. If the rotation was fixed after 28 days all classes should have been picked for dailies 7 times, but as you can see that is not the case. The problem wouldn’t be big if the reward for that daily is two potions of pvp awards so some professions got a lot more then others. There are people who play only one class (I play only necro so you can see my disappointment) and not getting those 2 potions (which is one part of the tier and one award in the award track) are a big set back.
Anet should change the way the professions are selected. Make it or fix or change your rng formula to be more equal.
All day today I had this weird bug when I couldn’t exit the combats. Even if I took falling damage my HP wouldn’t regen and I couldn’t use wp cos “i was in combat”. Only the weapons would stow.
when I said on map chat that “no aoe” and “no cc” are myth a guy said “block this troll”… sigh…
I can’t understand why Queen Jenna and Anise would agree to considering the Mursaat as allies. They have bad history with them.
Germany was at war with almost everyone just 70 years ago and now everybody drives german cars and wants to be friends with them… well, everybody except Greece I suppose…
So with this new expansion coming who knows when (in 6 weeks it will be playable at PAX) will we have 2 weeks updates?
SAB?
Anything?
since the patch i’ve done at least 2 vinewraths event per day. Got only the one coat box that you are getting after the first run.
Still missing 2 husks and 1 teragriffs parts as well…
The thing I don’t understand about the Vinewrath is why if we kill the champions it dies.
It doesn’t. Talk to the NPCs in the area just after beating the boss. The Vinewrath retreats and the Pact knows this.
oh, thanks for the info. I guess I never paid attention cos of the frustration for not getting a single coat box yet… :s
I dced (again) just before the Vinewrath event started. Logged back in immediately but on an empty map. It would be great if players who dc or log out for any reason had their spot in the map reserved for 5 mins or even less so their effort is not in vain.
The thing I don’t understand about the Vinewrath is why if we kill the champions it dies.
Everyone seems to forget:
The main key to the design was developing an obvious anatomy that clearly described the race as plant rather than an offshoot of human. However, because the race tightly relates to the essence of human due to the Pale Tree’s influences from Ronan, the overall form has a human silhouette. But if you look more closely, you’ll see the forms are really quite alien. They are a collection of abstract notions the Pale Tree had about what made up the human, as she really only saw the surface. They are a tree’s interpretation of humans.

The mystery of their appearance was answered, long ago.
Does this mean that Malyck is also from “our” Pale Tree?
Yes that is true.
What I wanted to say is that the Tree is not a dragon and does not live long as the dragons do. So the Tree probably cannot take Mordremoths place in the preservation of magic balance.
First of all sorry for my bad English.
This is my theory about the Pale Tree that I would like you to comment and since I never played GW1 feel free to correct me if I got anything wrong.
The Pale Tree was planted by Ronan 250 years ago but it gave his first “fruits” only 225 years later. Now why is that? Does it take the tree so long to mature or is the close awakening of Mordremoth that starts the births? I would say the later and I will go even further by saying that once Mordremoth starts to stir he blossom and pollinate the Pale Tree. He is actually the father of the Sylvari (waiting for Star Wars puns :P ).
On how the Ventari tablet and/or the Dream protects them from Mordremoth’s influence there are lots of topics so I wont discuss it here (and I really have nothing clever to say about it ).
There are some that believes that the Pale Tree can take Mordremoth place once he (if he) dies. I don’t believe so. Simply because what I believe is that the Tree once Mordremoth goes back to sleep dies. Before our day Sylvaris no one ever seen one. Not even in GW1 anybody knew about the existence of a Tree or Sylvari. That means that the previous one are all dead. The seeds are the last “fruits” of the Tree and maybe some “lastborns” that are guardians of those seeds. Ronan said that the cave where he found the seeds were guarded by “terrible plant creatures” so they could be mordrems but could also the lastborn Sylvaris. How long does the Tree lives and is it bound to die when Mordremoth dies or go to sleep or it dies of old age well that will need to see.
This is all just a theory with no real proof but want to hear what you all think about it. Thank you for your patience and time
I see a new hashtag comming:
#JeSuisSylvari lol
I never played GW1 so I (nor my character) do not know that there was any lagoon there.
Now, does the priory know there was a lagoon there? When did the lagoon went dry? Was it over night or did the water gradually flow off? Because if was the later I don’t see a big research going on there.
Sorry for my bad english.
They paid Caithe to steal the egg cos they cannot have one on their own.
Dolyaks have fur. Cows/bulls don’t have fur. Susie don’t have fur. Susie is a cow not a dolyak.
Or at least that is how I’d always differentiate the two.
yes, for destroying Asuran lab and interrupting an important experiment.
scum masturz? i so loled
I don’t see your post. I only see
Don’t know about the lag but having water splashes in a desert is highly unlikely and annoying as hell.
The cave is sealed. We cannot enter and Jory went to the Priory to do some research. Did you wanted an instance with her reading books, talking to random npcs until finally she find the right solution? An instance that last two weeks?
Why not? It happens IRL.
Upon your initial arrival at the camp, the centaurs assumed all Sylvari were like Wynne and peaceful, though they were set off by your show of force. As you moved through their camp, Faolain’s comments made them further lose trust in your group. At this point, the centaurs were surrounded and probably feared the unknown. Faolain further provoked one of them into attacking, which started the chain reaction.
From Caithe’s perspective, she didn’t see what was happening. She only heard that her comrades were under attack. Would you really let your friends die over a tribe you knew nothing about? Also consider that you had previously encountered a dangerous species of “imps” that were killing your people and before that, you were told to protect and not let another Sylvari die. Also keep in mind that she is young and inexperienced at this point and is likely now biased in assuming that other species are hostile.
Even if you were given the option to sit back and watch, the centaurs would have likely attacked Caithe out of fear and rage. Wynne was probably the only one that could have stopped both sides.
This. Caithe was in the tent when she heard Faolain scream, she run outside and saw the centaurs attacking her. I would have done the same thing.
If there is someone to blame that is Wynne.

the hammers at blue fort? Try to step outside and maybe you can find some use for them…
