LA will be retaken. Not immediately, but in time.
I don’t believe that the Council will just give up, however lame they are.
LA is on a good position, it’s a port, it have gandarran fields on the north which are rich with farms so can provide it with food, it’s in the middle of practically every caravan route…
There is no other place on Tyria where the Council would like to go. So yes, LA will eventually be retaken and rebuild. And yes, this is also living world.

Is it possible that the Pale Tree has two entities, something like ying and yang, and that something went wrong when the Pale Tree embraced the Ventari Tablet and one entity outweighed the other. And that other is now talking to Scarlet?
But not sure how attacking Lion’s Arch would have anything to do with it…

meaning that the pirates from the poster are not the pirates that we know… those pirates do not know anything about flying ships, nor the inquest…
so, imo, Scarlet did not create the aetherblades

Not sure that Scarlet “created” the Aetherblades. She said that they need them to make the ships for her or that she would replace them with holograms.

The NPCs moved from LA. They are not there anymore so the instance also can’t be there…

The problem is that the probe is not really green when you go there… is still red, and so are all the others…

I do think that is lions arch. Even the hallways are similar. The only differences are the angle (probbably the video was took from more down point of view) and the destruction on rata sum portal

everybody says that the X in bloodtide coast is whispers headquarters, yes? So where is the dot representing the probe just outside the cave? is not there. and so are missing the others.
And yes, the X’s are ambiguous, just like i stated.
Yes, the orders are trying to stop Scarlet, but she always followed the plan she have. She think everybody is meaningless, she sees everybody as insects and is just not like her to take a detour from her plan to destroy the orders.

You can even see the one in Harathi just north of Vigil Keep above the X at Vigil Keep.

the dots from the others map are not there. and I’m not sure if the dot from harathi is the same one, cos I don’t remebmer where the rest of the probes are.

she’s looking for something, and it just so happens that the orders and lion’s arch are both trying to keep her from doing that. the probes have their own icon on scarlet’s map. she could’ve highlighted those probes in any way she wanted, but she chose big red X’s that aren’t even in line with the probes you’re suggesting (the priory one points directly at the priory, not at the probe close to it, for example), alongside giant ominous arrows pointing straight at lion’s arch.

LA and the orders have no clue what does she wants so they cannot be keeping her from “doing that”.
And you think that ANet would just change the colors of the dots and make it clear to everyone what is going to happen? Don’t think so.

Anyway, we’ll see. But, I’m quite sure is like I said. Dunno why, just a hunch.

Scarlet does not have any reason to attack the Orders or LA. None. When you destroy the marionette there is a conversation going on between the npcs, and they talk also about the probes. Taimi at that point say: “They are not offensive. Scarlet is looking for something”. In Scarlet’s lair is a drawing of the probes sending waves, like a sonar, underground. The images from the console are all about the probes so the only logical thing is that the X’s are the probes. The arrows are just underlining the X’s, in a matter of speaking. They are coming from points that are far away of playable maps, so nothing can come from there.

The X’s are not pointing to the orders and she will not attack them. They are pointing to the probes. Maps 1 and 2 show all the probes in the world, the third, with X’s those which found what she’s looking for. There is one probe in the water in LA, one south of Priory, one east of Whispers and one north of Vigil’s Keep in Harathi Hinterlands. She will use the drill (image 4) to drill.

ok, new theory:
the x are the probes and future drill points. There are 4 probes near all those xs. In in the water in LA, one is just south of the Priory, one is just near the entrance to the Whispers headquarters and one is north of the Vigil keep in Herathi hinterlands map.

I’ve destroyed the marionette 4 times. Last night it was my first time I did it in the main server. First time I ever got to play on the main server.

When you destroy the marionette there is a conversation going on between the npcs. At one point they mention the probes and Taimi says that they are not offensive structures but that Scarlet is looking for something. In the lair there is a drawing of the probes sanding waves underground and at the bottom there is a round shape. What is it I do not know (but I like the idea of the bloodstones I read on this topic).
Somebody said that the red cross in LA is the FotM asura gate and that Scarlet wnat to destroy it but I tend to disagree. First of all I don’t believe ANet would destroy the only gate that lead to a big portion of its game. The only way that could be that gate is that we save it at the end. That is of course is only my opinion. Now, close to that gate is the gate to Southsun which would make more sense.
But, there are 4 crosses and only 3 more updates. So does that mean she will attack (if she is mean to attack at all) all the 4 points at the same time?
Some say those are her hideouts, but why would she pinpoint them for her?

Ah, so many questions and the answers are so few…

forgot to mention the trabs that can be damaged before the game start and then destroyed with one hit.

Don’t know if this was already discussed here or in the bug section but I was really kittened today when the opposite team destroyed our gate before the game started and the gate stayed open. Fix this or just take off the map.

Since the Fractals are part of the LS there would be some kind of connection with Scarlet.

I think Dessa is working with Scarlet. She send her to Thaumanova and to Abaddon. And she actually never had the memory loss.

If the Lab is a fractal who constructed the Asura gate to and from LA? And why do we need the Lab to go from one fractal to another?

yes, she said she would sponsor one research, and he said he would sponsor the other. Meaning that there ARE two different researches going on, one that got the money to go on the other didn’t not got the money. But that does not mean that the one that did not got the money stop the research itself.

Ellen said that she’ll support an important FotM research, the same said Evon. That, imo, means that there are two researches going on, and that the Abaddon one only have less founds and the research is going slower but eventually will get to an end and the fractal will be released.

yes, the ally npc was healing the enemy. It happened on the first event in the instance.

nope. He knelt at the mob and the health bar went up. I was performing the finisher.

In the “The Nightmare Unveiled” story instance one of the npcs that follows you started to revive a downed mob. Don’t believe this is intended. Unfortunately didn’t have time to take a snapshot.

My download stopped at 8 files and just won’t go anymore. the game advisor file is attached
