Well you can get one coat as an achievement reward when you kill Vinewrath the first time. Two to go… already saw people linking 3 of them. I opened a lot of bandit chests but so far no luck.

We will probably use Glints Egg to grant ourselves immunity. Just like we used Deep See dragons orb to grant ourselves immunity from Zhaitan.
BAM! Done, no more reason to go into why our player and all good sylvari friends of ours are still on the good side.

As much as I believe my mesmer to be powerful, he would just simply die. Or even worse kill everyone else cause I am a sylvari.
They probably made you stay behind cause they couldn’t allow sylvari players to go there and not go all berserk on their allies.

We will probably later use Glint’s egg or something to fight off the control on sylvari, like we used the Deep See dragon orb to fight off the undead corruption. Then our player will be able to go and kill Morde

They are not volunteering at Anet, it’s their job, so yeah they should work like everyone else.

Actually you’re comment is invalid since it presupposed that because your job sucks (and the jobs of all of your friends) than everyone else’s should suck as well. Actually more accurately your comment is invalid because you’re demonstrating very little understanding that your perception is simply one of many nor necessarily an accurate measurement of truth. That is, just because you think something doesn’t inherently mean that the thought corresponds to a objective truth or reality. Plenty of people x-mas breaks, so just because you don’t doesn’t mean other people don’t or shouldn’t.

I never said my job sucks, I actually enjoy my job very much thank you.
And I don’t online game developers should take breaks that often. Things can go wrong on all sorts of places and no one will be there to do anything about it. I just got DC while doing Vinewrath for the first time, really annoying… Couldn’t rejoin since my client updated with the “fixed server crash” fix. And now I crashed again after a few minutes.

Even if this isn’t the expansion, I wish the first expansion they make for GW2 will be boxed, I want to add one more thing to my GW collection

You are forgetting about a possible WvW season that could pop after this LS. A WvW season takes 1 month and usually does not “run” in parallel with other events.

Keep in mind that this final episode might bring a huge grind that will keep us busy for a while as well. I’d hate for WvWvW season to start right after the Finale before I farm all of those silly organs and Bandit Crests needed for the last Luminescent skins

Cause we don’t need the gold. We also have a lot of gold. Nor do I need T6 mats at this point in the game. I have enough to spare for anything new that comes and requires them. So yeah I just keep my laurels in case something new comes out. Same with Karma, I have around 10 million Karma now I believe.

Well, the last episode comes out today and we will probably get access to that flower thing we saw in the 5th(?) episode. Thats where the vines come from around silverwastes so in a way its the “Heart of Thorns”.

I am well aware of that, but I still don’t see it. Especially with naming the whole season based on something we see in the last episode? And something NO ONE, EVER, in the entire Season 2 ever said a word about that monster we will encounter tonight. Not even one NPC mentioned the fact that the vines keep growing closer and closer to the Pact base. Makes you forget it’s even there behind those vines.

Well you could check the stickied thingies in this forum for some general idea. Or what the ESL tournaments on twitch to see for yourself how the ‘pros’ do it and find what you are doing wrong or need to improve on.

And as far as I know there are plenty guides on youtube. People doing class specific guides what to do in which situation on what map etc etc

Except she still does, which is quite evident in the storymode of TA.

I think Heart of Thorns is a good title for LS Season 2.

So maybe, after the final chapter gets released, there will be a boxed bundle including all 8 chapters that players, who pick up the game after LS S2 finished can buy.

Instead of paying 150 gems for each episode, they can buy it for 800 gems or 10 bucks, if Anet decides to put out a box to put in stores (for extra visibility).

I do agree with the things you stated. Especially #1.
But 20-30 gems per win? That’s too much.
And besides that would massively bring all the PvP newbies to the mists just so that they can farm Gems.

I think the perfect balance would be 2 gems for unranked win, 5 for ranked win. If this ever happened that is.

I was an only PvE type of a player in GW2, PvP meant nothing to me cause it was rubbish for the longest time. And PvE got so so much more compared to PvP. Only recently PvP got good and I decided to try it, and I actually love it now. I didn’t PvE in months now.

So yeah, they can focus so much more of their attention to PvP it would still not come close to what PvE got in the last two years.

Mesmer is my main and I find it very deadly in sPvP. I don’t know about the learning curve since I spent 4k+ hours as a mesmer in total, it just comes natural to me now.

For builds I find shatter only viable at the moment, some condi mesmers can be annoying but I still think shatter is deadlier.

And about your question if a mesmer is in a good spot right now… I honestly can answer correctly. In my opinion it depends on the player. Mesmer will either be a huge weakness in your team or a great asset. I haven’t seen anything in between.

I was personally big on dungeons for 2 years, switched to PvP now. I only go PvE when the new content comes so that I can do all the achies and acquire all the new items that I want, which is usually a few hours of work on patch day (not counting the Silverwastes grind)

I for one had to work the entire month, including 24, 25, and the 31st.

I also worked on the 31st, full time even
Had a break on 1st and 2nd, also 3rd and 4th cause they were weekends. So yeah, my Christmas break was 4 days
Some people apparently had a whole month as a break

She knows something we don’t at this moment, she had no time to explain (like she said), cause something needed to be done urgently. And taking the time to explain to us would take too long and she’d waste valuable time, and we’d probably only slow her down. That sounds like the Caithe I know.

Well they did say they will tweak legendaries to always be special. That only happened once as far as I remember.

A lot of changes happened on that patch.
Pretty much nothing new happened since. And legendary weapons are now more common than some gem store items, or limited time only weapon skins. Which makes legendary weapons not so special anymore in my opinion.

And yeah they did say they will add new legendary weapons and there were some rumors saying that those v2 legendaries will require existing ones as precursors.

That’s what happens when you copy paste the old content.

I enjoy the LS as much as the next guy, and also have issues with it as much as the… next guy. But I still think SAB is the best thing that happened to GW2. I just can’t wait for it to come back, and when it does I know I will never leave it, with all my alts, till the day it goes away again. Like both previous times.

I’m sure at one thing about season finale. It will bring some huge grind that will keep us busy till Season 3

Decent suggestion, especially cause you are not allowed to leave the Mists while in a queue.
(Yes I know that you can now cause the Leave Queue button is broken, not for long probably).

But you have to consider the fact that after you finish a match, you will respawn in the Mists at the portal/PvP instructor. Which means your JP progress will be erased.

It would be ok if the JP had no reward at the top/end of it so you just jump for fun. But if it did I can already see the situation where people decide to cancel the vote cause they actually want to finish the JP, how they are almost at the end but no time to finish if they accept the queue.

That would end in other 9 players getting kicked out of the vote screen and thrown back into queue again (since the map vote won’t start unless all 10 players accepted).

Other solution would be if they disabled the thing where you respawn at the portal/ PvP Instructor and after a match you can just continue the JP where you left of.

Judging by your comment I also think people should not have huge expectations for this.
It’s always better to have little or no expectations and then be amazed, rather than expecting something unreal and then getting disappointed.
