I roam in groups of 5 or less a lot so 2500 hp means a lot. Compared to the trade off of a fully upgraded super balista spread shot smacking you in the face 2500 hp is nothing.

What I am saying is its a 114 point trade off and if they reduce the reason to take 114 points into a line then I better be able to spend them elsewhere.

The argument that time shouldn’t = power is so long dead to Anet. If you ran a fractal or ground dailies for laurels then you’re just as guilty as the rest of us for helping Anet toss out its “manifesto.”

Play and to a degree, pay for power is here to stay. GW1 is dead. Long live GW2?

If Anet cannot provide player housing, I can at least provide a home for the Holy Flame Ram.

I think you got it. I submitted an in game report. Tried to reproduce it after the recent patch and it looks like it no longer occurs. A+.

I submitted a bug report dealing with a new item that was introduced recently that if combined with a rare set of circumstances WILL crash an entire wvw map for 5-15 minutes.

I reproduced this bug 3 times this evening. I am sorry to anyone who was caught in the mess it caused.

2 Ascended Rings (I could actually use on my alt army; lucky me)
5 Yellows
3 Golems
10~ Trebs
The rest mixed greens/blues and low end siege gear alongside the slowly growing 12-16 silver rewards.

It is a start, but it will hardly put us anywhere near 1/10th the “value” pve’ers get in their loot drops.

They still happen, just generally not on reset night. Monday and beyond we start doing more informal stuff like this.

Yes but WvW is “endgame” for many players and has evolved beyond a purely casual game mode.

It isn’t as rigid as a Starcraft or DOTA match, but WvW is now far from casual for many servers. I suppose the ability to join/quit WvW at any time without a punitive ratings hit could mark it as a casual game mode?

Very impressive by TC and FA right now. SOS has 5 people in EB so what do TC and FA do? They each attack SOS and take towers that are undefended rather then fight each other. So much for how these mighty titans like a good fair fight. They avoid each other like the plague beating up on a severly undermanned server. Welcome to the new WVW ghosttown.

For us on SoS, the proof is in the pudding. We have not had queues like this since February, and it shows in the score and the fights.
For every SoS person whining, we have two more people coming out of the woodwork to put up a great fight.

I’m into more small scale stuff and my group of 3 has been running from a zerg for the last 45 minutes, It gets boring.

If you want small scale stuff you just gotta stop being famous. I am sorry to say that you get specifically called out in map chat “Santa is at…” “Pickles is roaming around south Hills…”

My advice is to run around FA BL or SoS BL. TC BL + Pickles = you going to get zerged / hunted endlessly.

Just want to say a quick thanks to everyone that talked to us yesterday. In my opinion this was a great way to go about it all. I think we have made some friends regardless of where we end up transferring.

Having said that by about 5 hours in we were pretty exhausted so sorry to Yak’s Bend and FA if we may have come across as a bit uninterested. That’s definitely not true and we really enjoyed learning about your servers.

The arrow cart was behind the lords room at bay shooting into inner. Let me know how that one works

There is a section of wall in Bay that doesn’t have collision so arrowcarts can “go over” the gap. It is A-net’s shoddy environment design. In the past (still?) guardian staff’s #1 could go through the wall back there just like it does right now on the right side of the Hills lord’s room. While it is a little “wtf” when you’re getting hit through a wall it doesn’t change the reality of the game. (AOE’ing through gates, mortars/trebs working through gates while catapults no longer do not etc)

WvW is largely inconsistent, but finding a lot of these little loop holes and planning for them or countering them can be fun. If you could not AOE splash a gate, Keep sieges would be even more boring than they are right now. Imagine slowly grinding down 1700 supply spent on a gate as the defenders merrily repaired the gate for hours with no issue. Ick!

TC went through a period of change three weeks back and now that is all sorted. It is back to business as usual!

Just wait till developers put in WvW incentives that appeal to PvE’ers and we will have a whole new challenge on our hands! Just remember to be kind and patient with people going forward. This Tarnished Coast is a pretty nice Coast.

TC wanted first, we got it. Did DB expect us to chew on FA’s sides all week so DB could could have a runaway match?

That said, I played way too much and had way too much fun. Thanks everyone who died with me and thanks for being patient. I am not too used to T2 commanding but someday I might get the hang of it.

I guess, “coalition” was a bad word to use. I don’t mean you guys are literally sitting in TS3 together working together, I mean you could be, but I highly doubt it.

What I mean is all week FA and TC have been pushing DBL and EB leaving us to do nothing but defend, poorly. TC barely enters FABL and FA barely enters TCBL. And if they do, the most either take is a couple camps and maybe a tower.

While DBL is getting hit from FA on the east and TC on the west and EB is getting the same treatment.

Add all that to the fact that some of our key guilds/commanders not rolling out in full numbers, which is very evident and the fact that the forum warriors on here from DB painted a pretty large bulls-eye on DB’s back.

Oh, and lets not forget that for some reason DB pugs can’t be bothered to get into the community TS3 and get some kitten coordination running. I mean if TC and FA have the time to get in our TS3 and listen to where we’re going I can’t see why our own server can’t.
