I personally think the Priory weapons are ugly and that the Peacemaker greatsword is hideous, but I agree with the sentiment that Vision of the Mists does look good with all mesmers. I mean, it’s practically made for us!

Is the Duelist’s Discipline trait still bugged i.e. reduces Phantasmal Duelist’s damage when it’s traited in? I thought I’d read somewhere that the recent patch fixed that…

The only time it ever really worked for me was when a thief and an ele downed me, killed my clone and ran off, leaving me to heal up behind a rock. I then got up and killed them.

And the other day in sPvP, in the Battle of Kyhlo map, I was in the clocktower and it thankfully teleported me underneath the clocktower into the corridor below.

Even then, this is a piddly skill lol.

Actually, when I first made this thread, it was just after one of my super arrow carts died to an onslaught of Dragon’s Teeth. Now I’m pretty indifferent towards it, so I don’t really mind if they leave it as it is lol. Strange to think it’s only been 5 days… you’ll be missed, super arrow cart.

It’s a vocal minority on both sides. There is still a lot of respect to be had from both sides to those out there fighting.

Personally, though I like some of the more vocal people on our server, I think it could all just be resolved by everyone shutting up and not get so easily wound up lol.

Bad bet. Can’t remember a time when TC ever did this. If someone did, you’d have a dozen people apologizing instead of celebrating it. Keep doing it if you want – we can’t stop you — but stop acting as if you’re executing some grand Sun Tzu strategy instead of just being classless jerks.

In fairness, to try and make sure that we as a server keep some perspective and not tout ourselves as being high and mighty, I’ve seen people on our server spawn camping.

It wasn’t so systematic as Blackgate (lol!) with siege, except maybe a shame ram or two, but it’s happened before in Tier 3.

Let’s not fall for the bait and let’s not poke the dead corpse, guys! I don’t want our server to become known for QQing as other servers have, ahem…

It was a deeply disturbing image which shocked me to my core.

Because I was one of the many baby sitting the mesmer that sat dead next to the water gate for 2 hours. So they finally got him ressed from the outside and cheated to get in.

If they hid one legitimately that would have been fine. But leaving a dead one near a gate that nobody can do anything about? That’s cheating.

So forgive me if this has already been discussed (and if it has, please point me to that thread!), but I think it’s a little ridiculous how Dragon’s Tooth has been left in its current state and has been allowed to operate beyond the limits of LOS. Losing a superior arrow cart which is out of range and out of sight behind a wall is a little irritating, frankly.

Not asking for it to be nerfed, rather change it to a ground-targeted AoE or make it operate in conjunction with the limits set by LOS.

I agree; I think implementing this, alongside additional maps for WvW, would help make things a little more interesting. I like WvW’ing, but honestly, it’s starting to become a little stale and has lost most of its appeal.

I think with this plan, at least, there’s something for everyone and it’s somewhat conducive to building a better community in the game as it provides a good opportunity for all the servers to get to know each other a little better.

Shattered Strength is not gaining benefits from Illusionary Persona, while traits such as Rending Shatter do. Can anyone confirm whether SS was gaining the fourth charge before or not? It currently does not count Illusionary Persona as an Illusion Shatter, thus the overall nerf to Might gain is larger than the patch note states.

Illusionary Persona didn’t trigger might stacks. It had to be illusions shattered

I dislike it. It’s not hugely debilitating, but frankly, if I have to slot 25 points into a traitline for Shattered Strength, at least make it 2 might stacks, as opposed to the 1 it is now.

How can you talk about balance when other classes are able to quickly and easily build might stacks which last considerably longer than 10 seconds?

Frankly, I’d wish Anet stopped listening to whiners and QQers and spent more time actually fixing bugs. Instead of constant nerfs(not including thieves and warriors, because supposedly, they’re ‘balanced’), why don’t you take the approach of buffing classes in certain areas so that they are ‘on par’ with the other classes?

Just stop nerfing mesmers please. It’s like you’re not listening to us at all. You spend far too much time apparently taking into account people who whine. Yes, SS was overpowered pre-patch but at least make the trait worthwhile considering how far into the traitline it is.
