The Crystal Desert guilds haven’t even moved over to TC yet.

What you’re seeing is what TC has always been like. We fight just as hard on a Wednesday and Thursday as we do on reset nights. However we have almost always seen a reduced number of opponents as the week goes on from other servers.

Our numbers haven’t increased over the week… yours have simply decreased. Nothing we can do about that.

That’s right, we log off as soon as we got enough loot bags for the day.

I don’t know Niim. TC is “growing”. They just gutted CD of three of its primary Oceanic and SEA guilds – Naga, ESF and Awe per the SoS/SBI/CD thread. I’d expect we’ll see TC’s reinforcements arrive this weekend.

I don’t think most of TC is interested in “pushing for T1” – what we are interested in is not having to play 12-16 hour shifts to make up for gaping Coverage gaps.

We’ve been looking for EU/Oceanic/SEA Guilds that would be a good match for our culture for over 6 months now, and we feel both excited and fortunate that it looks like we have found some.

I and many others on TC still hope that quality, classy NA Guilds will consider Kaineng to help shore up their coverage gaps too.

Have a cheap armour set with 6 Superior Runes of the Centaur, which give 12secs of swiftness whenever you use a heal skill. Make sure you’re running Mirror as your healing skill since it has the lowest cooldown. You could also use the Mantra but I haven’t tried it because of the channeling which is annoying to me.

Put 20 points into Inspiration to get the reduced cooldown trait on Focus skills and you have, basically, perma swiftness.

Personally, I run 0-20-0-20-30 (a shatter build, essentially) and go into the JP, pop Focus #4 and then use Mirror for even more swiftness since swiftness from Focus #4 is buggy and doesn’t stack with swiftness from anywhere else.

Also, I’d argue it’s useful to run this build because you can use F4 (Distortion) in the dark room against the gargoyle thingies which knock you off. So dodge roll and pop F4 at the same time and you’ll never get hit.

TLDR: Focus #4 then Mirror ALWAYS and use F4 (Distortion) in the dark room against the gargoyles.

A TC player named Lanimal started the rally to recruit more players for Kain. I could see if Kain was to start it themselves, but come on. Obviously a few people are uncomfortable with not have certain servers in a lead position.

If more people want to move to Kain, awesome, but let handle their business before you meddle.

Except the difference is TC has no actual control over whether or not KN decide to recruit. Lanimal is only encouraging people to leave comments on and bump KN’s recruitment thread so that prospective guilds/players can see why KN might be a server to consider.

So sadly, KN drop to 2nd in T2. this week, I had never attended any WvW, due to SAB. but after tomorrow, I will be available to fight (none skin drop to me, and I have to run SAB for whole week in order to get 5 skins). I think many KNs also available to fight on next week.

There’s no point complaining about 2v1 – it happens to all. TC can act like they don’t complain, but I can go back just a few pages and find TC players complaining about the same thing <gasp>. People from FA complaining about the constantly shifting 2v1, which is a part of WvW, only feeds into TC’s meta of kissing KN’s kitten so they don’t target TC. That’s truly where TC shines.

We have not grown out of bringing to light the truth. The truth being it requires two servers to hold us in check because of what we are capable of when our reserves can go on the attack. The necessity of double teaming FA is an unfortunate one for us. Being double teamed by the megazerg server and the off hours server is tough to counter. We persevere but we obviously can’t win against impossible. If you look at the numbers it is very clear that it is impossible to win against this nonsense. Dismissing the manifestation of unsavory war ethics and a lack of confidence on the part of the other two servers to fight 1v1v1 as whining is an evasive retreat to craven ppt play. That is the majesty of FA. We can make two stacked servers desperately thrash away at us to keep their confidence up.

Lol we are all stacked to some degree, Tinfoil Hat Champion. Let’s stop pretending we’re outnumbered. After all, look at how many guilds joined your server…

I’m really quite curious about this, KN! Why is it, in the BLs, you always push on our Toasty Towers and then end up losing your spawn tower, followed by ours which then ends up in both of us getting pushed off the map?

Kaineng seems plenty focused Furious. As much as the huge numbers of TC who seem to be turning out for this patch we still see massive forces from everyone else also.

What we are seeing on TC, I believe is the power of the RPer and I mean that as a high complement.The bars, beaches and hot springs have more than likely been emptied to join in on some new WvW content.In my humble opinion, it’s a hoot seeing them taking the time to enter the war.
It’s almost as if TC warriors have been battling for weeks, waiting for reinforcements to arrive and they finally did to help turn the tide of the war.It’s doubtful that it will last being everyone enjoys the game the way they play it but for now, it’s fun.

You’re right, I wasn’t helpful and I’m sorry. Havin people just say “Discuss” is a peeve of mine and I totally gave in.

We probably only have half a dozen commanders with tags on on at a time, so we don’t have too much problems talking between them. Most commanders are on the server TS and just jump between the server channels to ask for help. Never occurred to me havin a whole friends list of commanders, haha.

It’s okay lol. But I think on some servers, where either there is no form of TS/Mumble/Vent or for the people who aren’t in those communication channels, it might be useful .

Well, PiNK, just like RET, tends to attract a lot of pugs because we’re both very large guilds who are constantly in WvW, so our commanders are well known. Not everytime I see PiNK are there 50 guys with em, but it has happened and they’ve been ridiculously hard to fight, as to be expected.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot who it was. But someone brought 4 omegas to FA keep in EB at some point. It was ridiculous. I think it was KN. Obviously, they took it.

EDIT #2 (sorry, been drinking): And I know RET hit the 50 man squad limit earlier last week at some point. Surprisingly, it was mostly RET and not pugs. It just goes to show that it does happen.

Okay, 50-man fights do happen where it’s all sides combined in one fight. But I think we know that most of our guilds, be they from KN, FA or TC, rarely run with 50 people… Rarely, heh…

To be honest, if you’re going to be suicidal and rush headlong into a zerg, like the other classes, you should be punished for that. The down skills don’t really stop you from dying and it’s really a lot to do with luck but Vapor Form, to some degree, negates that and allows eles to escape either back into a tower or back into their zerg where they can get rezzed.

If other classes get punished for overextending, elementalists should too.

I remember coming to TCBL that was completely red and fortified like 2 days ago with probably 30 or so people. Most of these guys were RET too. We finished taking the first tower in less than a minute and moved on hills. They managed to field a group just as large as ours within a minute of seeing their first tower turn red.

I was like holy wtfpickle.
