I was excited… and the introduction of ascended items into WvW would’ve made up for the change to the matchup system (which itself looks pretty chaotic). But, like, seriously… 25 laurels? It should be, as someone pointed out, more WvW-centric which means more badges and less laurels.

I was hoping for 10 laurels but was expecting something like 15 laurels. Way to just screw things up again.

Offering retrospective commentary shouldn’t always constitute crying or excuse-making, which is why I’m constantly emphasizing that I understand the strategy and don’t hold it against those who benefit from it. I’ve done it myself, as I say in one of the posts of mine that you quoted above.

TC has done what it takes to win in this tier. DB has done what it takes to win in this tier. Those are the facts that matter, everything else is just the details; how it happened and why. 2v1’s don’t always meaningfully impact the match outcome, but DB withered under this one and it did. We lost the match when we lost control of our home BL on Wednesday night, and failed to recap any meaningful ground for way too long. Whether the double-team persisted before, through or beyond that doesn’t really matter at the end of the week.

I… What? Often no one can win without another server’s “help” in this tier because the three servers are so closely matched… it has been like that in T2 for a while.

It seems strange to me that it’s okay to say that FA and TC are fundamentally incapable of double teaming another server for more than 20 minutes, but advancing the notion that all three of us have ‘teamed’ with other servers at some point is met with incredulity and derision. I’m not trying to take anything away from TC’s win by describing some of the factors that contributed to it. I’m sure most of you have already chosen not to believe this, but I actually don’t lay DB’s loss entirely at the feet of the 2v1 between Wednesday and Thursday. In my mind, we had a chance to win right up until the point TC started completing upgrades on our garrison.

So you’re not trying to take anything away from TC’s win but surely you’re not so dense as to think that bringing it up repeatedly doesn’t give the impression that that’s what you think and that people won’t take offense to your posts?

1)To be fair, we’ve been consistently double teamed (in the strategic sense, not necessarily in open-field fights) since yesterday’s SEA shift ended. Apparently us ticking 500 for a few hours and almost catching TC rustled some jimmies… :P
Not complaining about it, just saying it happened. Hell, we double teamed FA the other night because they gave up stonemist to TC in order to fully defend Anz from our zerg. Once that happened our commander was like "kitten this, I’m going for FA the rest of the night!"

I guess, “coalition” was a bad word to use. I don’t mean you guys are literally sitting in TS3 together working together, I mean you could be, but I highly doubt it.

What I mean is all week FA and TC have been pushing DBL and EB leaving us to do nothing but defend, poorly. TC barely enters FABL and FA barely enters TCBL. And if they do, the most either take is a couple camps and maybe a tower.

While DBL is getting hit from FA on the east and TC on the west and EB is getting the same treatment.

Add all that to the fact that some of our key guilds/commanders not rolling out in full numbers, which is very evident and the fact that the forum warriors on here from DB painted a pretty large bulls-eye on DB’s back.

Oh, and lets not forget that for some reason DB pugs can’t be bothered to get into the community TS3 and get some kitten coordination running. I mean if TC and FA have the time to get in our TS3 and listen to where we’re going I can’t see why our own server can’t.

And when DB first came to Tier 2, TC experienced the same treatment. If you can’t stand the heat…

That is the thing i do not get about BT mainly why leave before a major update to the match up. I am fearful that they are kind of shooting them self in the foot because they are moving to a world that has Q nearly all the time they are just simply going to have a harder time getting into WvW. I have no idea what being in a T1 world will give you over being in a T2 or T3 world.

In fairness, they haven’t actually decided on a destination server yet and haven’t finalised anything.

TC offered us 30k gold, still considering the offer. FA doesn’t need BT to stay in T2 I don’t think, but hopefully they get an influx of pve players coming out to pull some weight since they cry so much about wvw bonuses.

The answer to DB’s problems doesn’t lie in further stacking more guilds on your server; if Noodles’ thread is accurate, you’ve acquired 940+ players in the space of less than a month. FA would need these guilds (or any sorts of transfers) more than either TC or DB.

Why do you keep posting the score? I have done a lot of GvG’s and never seen anyone so disrespectful, which is counter to what GvG’s are about.

??? Its not Zerg vs Zerg. When two guilds agree to gvg they have every right to post the official scoring and videos. In fact, people do want to know the scores therefore your argument is invalid. Clearly you don’t do GvG’s right. We lost to VoTF, they posted a score and we didn’t complain. We actually posted a video of our loss in respects to the match. Point and case .

I’m sure by now that many of you ladies and gentlemen have access to our forums. I don’t mind that FA gets transfers, they need it badly. I said it on TC forums and I said it here. I don’t mind in this case with TVB either. But the fact is – TVB came to TC repeatedly asking for gold while we were clearly hesitant to “pay gold” but were willing to “help farm gold with you”, as evident in the thread rather than US approaching YOU and YOU turning it down. I’m not saying there’s anything WRONG with asking for funding, but denying it or publicly taking a higher moral ground while trying to insult TC whereas the facts are something entirely different is disgusting. Atleast the other TVB person above you didn’t say what you said.

It’s okay, Sista never liked us. Maybe one day, she’ll stop making imaginary stories up.

I know last week I challenged both FA and TC I hang up on DB to try to beat us and you guys did wonderful. Props to TC for the win. FA great teamwork. Now, lets go back to each server not double teaming the other.

For the next 2 weeks I’m in California on vacation and most of CO is going through training while I’m gone and may not be fielding everyday like we normally do.

I’m on the beach, enjoy the beginning of summer!!
