I was in EB today and I didn’t see that so I can’t verify whether or not it didn’t happen. I don’t think I’ve ever come across someone so vocal about it as you… And it’s a bit much to expect me to just talk it out with everyone else on the map and expect them to listen. I don’t believe it has happened but if it has, you should probably find some guild tags and ask to speak to the relevant guild officers.

And I’m not going to try and negotiate with you because that’s a pretty immature stance to take; it’s a two-way street. Respect comes from both parties. I don’t need to kowtow to your demands in the hopes that you’ll stop being snarky about TC.

I know how that is, sometimes we gotta vent when we’re frustrated, its why forums like this even exist. To Grave himself though, if SoS was the group with more numbers picture yourself with us on the end you’re on now, would it be any different? If you stopped to think about it you would realize no, it wouldnt be any different at all, same tactics such as laughing and spawn camping would be found if SoS, or any server was dominating the other two. For proof read back on the weeks where any server dominated and tell me if the same reports do not exist. TC brought a full zerg on overlook when all it had was 12 defenders,after getting overlook half the zerg spawncamped the 6 that tried to get on veloka.
Veloka all it had inside was 6 defenders out of which your mesmers had no remorse on trying to fling outside the tower with temporal curtains.
Also there wasnt anything to learn from this match,and your words of praise sound empty when right at this moment overlook is loaded with siege used against not even a handfull of SoS.

1. I’m not even there. Until it was mentioned a few posts ago, I had no idea you were being spawn-camped. I do apologise on behalf of my server (even though I’m just one person) because that kind of behaviour is appalling.
2. I’m pretty sure this is SoS’ downtime and NA’s primetime. Please do expect a lower SoS population and a much higher TC population.

My attitude is fine and justified,tc as a server hasnt done anything that another server hasnt done before aside showing the WORSE sportsmanship ever performed.
The EP members camped at veloka spamming laugh at the people trying to siege the gate,and then calling an over 25 people pack to kill the 7 SoS outside of is also not promoting anything other than grief.
Also this isnt a downtime issue,people got tired of spending gold and siege to try to defend something that couldnt be defended because fully optimized zergs dont give a flying F if you cart them or not.
Server limit might not be 300 since it got lowered and increased over the past months ,but still i am sure that a 20 to 1 rate isnt something balanced.

Every server seems to have it’s own unique characteristics. Some of them are so blatant that you would be able to figure out who you were fighting after a few days even with the server tags off.

If you are a boxing fan you would remember Oscar De La Hoya. Pure tactical boxer. Didn’t like to get hit. Would outbox his opponent without taking any risks.

To me that is TC. Not 100% of the time but in general.

Very methodical and patient. When taking a tower/keep they go balls to the wall with overwhelming firepower. If any kind of resistance they pull back and reevaluate. Then determine what other siege is needed to get the job done…as cleanly as possible …by clean I mean as few deaths as possible. In a perfect world zero deaths. Leroy Jenkins is not in their vocabulary.

Same thing applies in the open field. Great flanking tactics. Great baiting tactics. They really only fight under their terms if possible. If in doubt they retreat and regroup. Applies to large groups down to solo.

Their discipline within the blob is quite amazing. if you snooze, you lose. What I mean is if you lag back or don’t pay attention, you are on your own. If the enemy hits you they aint turning around to help you or rez you. Very objective focused.

As frustrating as it is to fight against that you can’t help but be impressed by their consistency. Hopefully, but not likely, they won’t take this the wrong way

I haven’t played mesmer in a while, but I was maining it, I was never afraid to engage in underwater combat unless it was a situation in which I was grossly outnumbered. Mesmers are arguably the best class underwater. I don’t much about rangers, except that I found their downed state annoying if I didn’t kill them quickly enough.

It was also better before they ‘fixed’ Trident #5 and nerfed confusion. Shatter mesmers/condition mesmers are incredibly good underwater imo. Between the constant pressure of bleeds from clones, regular shatters from dodging and the damage the phantasms put out, they’re in a good spot.

Except maybe with that bouncing bug, but I don’t know about that since I haven’t played mesmer in a while.

No need to get negative. Even though you are getting utterly destroyed when the previous week you thought you may have stood a chance against a tier 1 server.

One player, once upon a time, mentioned that “no one really knows if there’s a gap between T2 and T1” because it’d been static for so long.

You have decided that because of that one remark, ALL T2 SERVERS, especially TC, seem to think we could beat T1 servers.

That is not the case, and never has been….yet you have made it your personal troll campaign and odd obsession for the past couple months. No one from TC went into this week expecting to do amazingly well against SoR. SoR, for all intents and purposes is a “T0” server, not a T1 server, anyway.

If TC was going to be even partially comparable to a T1 server, it would be JQ, and even then that wouldn’t be a win…it would just be a more fair fight than this week has been.

Compounding this week was our obvious 50% attendance yesterday because of this stupid dragon event. These stupid ANet events annoy the hades out of me.

I imagine the gap isn’t as wide as you like to believe, especially considering the massive coverage gaps all your servers have (as made evident by the fact that there’s at least one time period every day where each T1 server is getting pooped on).

Monday night SoR was ticking at +220.

TC was ticking at +355.

Given that I was not talking about coverage gaps, I’d say my suspicions were rather confirmed, were they not? Even last night, with our severely reduced attendance, we passed SoR in PPT a couple times.

And it’s not. We have greater than 50% of your score for the week, we’ve ticked higher than you on several occasions. If you look at the difference between SoR and the other T1 servers, the other servers were sitting roughly between where TC and SoR are right now.

SoS was sitting at the top of T4 at the same margin SoR sits at in T1. They belonged at the top of T3, clearly, hence the reason I said SoR would belong in T0, if something like that were to exist.

A few more days of TC getting absolutely demolished, (let’s not kid ourselves here, SOR has resorted to keeping attendance low and playing on lowbie alts to somewhat even out the terms to keep us entertained, not to mention a guild flat out temporarily transferring to find competitive fights), and we will see this forum flooded with their QQ.

We’re both (tc and sor) losing rating this week anyway, or gaining a poultry sum at best, so I think that everyone from those servers should just enjoy the ride this week and hope for a matchup where you’re not digging yourself out of a rating hole next week… It doesn’t matter that some on SoR claim to be “holding back” or that one of our heavy hitting wvw guilds “temporarily” transferred to JQ. Every time I’m on the field I don’t see anyone saying that they feel bad for TC and SoS, they’re doing their best to kick some butt. You guys should do the same.

We all knew what was going to happen, people will still play hard and stuff. But yeah, like you said, I think it’s important that people don’t take things too seriously and use the week to have fun (like you should be doing anyway!) and learn and improve etc.

In fairness, I think it can be interpreted differently; either as “Oh, you’re not good enough for us and are a waste of our time” or as “We’re going to pull back a little bit so that everyone in the matchup can enjoy themselves”.

You can’t win either way though, I guess. I think everyone’s doing a really good job at keeping the thread positive and upbeat. Reminds me of the BG/KN/TC days.
