- The game is very clunky in stopping attacking with the esc key.
This I can agree on, when you press escape it should just stop attacking full stop, however I do feel that reflect is good counter play and should remain the way it is currently.
They should just remove displacement, its the worst skill they ever created, game feels laggy and wonky.
Because crafting 12 ascended sets all in one go is what everyone does right… this complaint seems legit…
Agreed, far to basic, needs a wep swap and the ability to choose utils for your legend, did I say basic? yeah basic is what it is, basic…
I hope not, displacement is a terrible skill, just feels like you lagged when it happens to you.
Everytime I get displaced by a revenant I think am I lagging? rubberbanding, what? it feels really bad, if there was some kinda tell involved to let u know you have been moved by the revenant then it prob wouldn’t be so bad, but as it is you just suddenly warp somewhere else and it just feels like lag, the concept isn’t bad but the way its carried out right now is.
They can so easily add a recipe to one or more crafting professions, they can literally do it with an hour. But they wont!
This is a good idea, maybe they will add it to the new Scribe crafting profession.
There should be an option in options that lets us choose if we want confirmation windows on vendors or not.
The Royal Terrace in Divinity’s Reach is unaffected by level adjustment since dynamic level adjustment is disabled in the cities . Can we have level adjustment disabled in the Captain’s Airship, as well? When crafting armor and weapons, we cannot currently see the final result it has on our skills, attributes, health, et cetera.
Thanks for pointing this out, I will be sure to never buy the airship pass then.
I wonder if this event is a bait, and real good thing to spend badges on will come in next weeks…
Now you’re getting what I’m guessing myself. XD
Even if they do add something cool for badges after the event, that doesn’t change the fact that Omegas spiked to 5.50g + which made badges worth a lot of gold, no matter what they add in the future it wont be as valuable as that Omega spike. If they spike again during the event I suggest you spend all your badges and make some good gold, and if they do add something in the future just grind some more badges.
P.s 80k badges converted to omegas that sold like hot cakes, no regrets.
uh no, why would it go higher? Ive been selling Omegas for 5.50g today, I don’t think they have ever been that price before and prob never will again.
It would be fun if this was a sink and then they introduced a use afterwards.
They prob will, but I used them anyway, crafted 150+ Omegas, sold them for between 4.20g and 5.50g, I don’t think we will ever see them at 5.50g again so now is the time to unload.
I came here to check if anyone had same issue as me, it appears that my human characters have either grown in size on the character select screen or my Sylvari characters have shrunk, it also seems that my Asurans have changed somhow too, like they are looking down at the floor. I cant tell if I’m going crazy, but I swear it all seems to have changed slightly, and not for the better.
Holy f, revenant in all game modes.. Still no stunbreaks tho, ez bags. Im curious what gear they slap on it
I thought the Jalis elite skill was a stun breaker with no cd, or did that change?
It is a stunbreak for 50 energy which lock you into animation as long as prepaparation mantra of distraction – 2.75sec for a 5sec 50% damage reduction buff. If you dont have a dodge to break the animation you in reality selfdaze yourself opening for a burst from anyone. Thats why its bad and i dont count it as a real stunbreak. In fact that skills is poor as it wont even safe you from a burst unlike lets say endure pain which is instant..
Your best bet is to spam stability road like no tomorrow and pray to not get it corrupted into fear.
Its still a stunbreak, you said they had none, just accept you were wrong bro.

Jalis elite skill breaks stun and has no cd, Revenant is infact the king of stunbreak, pun intended :P

So how about a week where there is no PPT, just PPK.
Dude. you are doing it wrong… it’s PPGK.. Points Per Golem KIll :P
Because Anet dont understand their own game
They understand their game, but they don’t understand the players.
(edited by Vavume.8065)
Guess ill play with something else during this “event”.
You might want to reword this a bit m8 :P
The prices will spike slightly on Omegas, and a tiny bit on mithril/wood, but nothing too absurd I imagine.
Omegas spiked to 5.50g at one point that is def absurd, I sold a few at that price but then it started to crash, sold around 145 at 4.20g which is still pretty absurd but I will take it.

Wish I would’ve saved up golems. The price should be going up on the TP.
I had been saving 150 Omegas for the next wvw season, but this was just the highest Ive ever seen them go, at one point I sold some for 5.50g, but then it started to crash again real quickly so I just sold them all out at 4.20g each, which is far higher than normal, ended up with 541g after taxes, I’m not at all happy about the event but I did make some gold out of it so I can’t complain to much.
This came under the heading features and content, there was no content, and this golem event is prob last thing any real wvwer wants, they could have given us a wvw season but no we get this farce of an event, which clearly has alterior motives behind it, as someone else pointed out, they prob just want people to get rid of duped golems.
I am quite angry about this tbh, I feel like its a slap in the face once again, wvwers have been asking for some love for a long long time then we get this? REALLY?

@zetsumei can you point me to the source of " they themselves announced the invites would go to only the most experienced and dedicated wvw players."
Their words were: This initial test will feature some of the most active WvW players in Guild Wars 2.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/announcing-the-wvw-desert-borderlands-stress-tests/
Apparently having over 5k hours spent in WvW and holding Diamond Rank is not active enough for an invite….
Vamp runes are overrated, I find it amusing people think that just cos top teams run these runes that they should also.
28k dolys and a guild bank full of meat.
It could, be a staff that extends. (1200 range)
Comes with a free nimbus cloud!
Like Monkey Magic?
I thought the skulls idea was a pretty good one, although I didn’t like all of the ones he suggested, however things like, not being able to rally, dieing if downed and completing the dungeon without a single party member dieing are all great ones. If arenanet kept it to easily understandable mechanics like this then I think it could work well.
3 sec reveal in spvp pls, kkthxbye.
Do want… any buff to SoS would make me happy.
I’d like to have reward tracks and rank finishers. I have dragon rank from pvp but I would like for wvw to have a seperate set of finishers as well.
This x 10000000000000
Personally, I put my limit on 20 stacks per mat, if I accumulate more, I refine or destroy.
I ran out of Bloodstone long ago anyways, as they are profitable to craft with.
The toxic nourishments gave you more than 1s per dust since last patch. That is only possible though, because many players dont own the recipes and dont want to pay 50-150g for them, so the market is only supplied by a fair few crafters that propably went through their stash of bloodstone already.
If Anet would release other recipes without timegate for dragonite or shards, they propably wont have this kind of profit margin due to the glut of supply on people like you.
I have the recipes and I have also done this in the past, I will look into it again now as you say its even more profitable, and yeah I’m sure you are right, if everyone gets recipes for dragonite and emps then they may end up being worthless, but tbh I would be happy if I could use them to craft foods for myself, like we have with furious and bountiful, account bound food but awesome.
I guess I value an inventory slot more than you.
You do, although guild banks are not really relevant in this since you cannot store bloodstone dust etc in it. If I was a TP guru like yourself then sure I would prob value my slots higher also, but most of us don’t even play the TP so 50s a slot is actually quite a lot.
Out of curiosity I just checked how many slots I have filled with Ascended mats and it came to 701 stacks over 7 alts, which is approx. 350g worth of mats according to your math. I don’t play these alts or have anything better to put in their bags so I guess I’m sitting on those mats for a while longer.
Of course guild banks are relevant in my evaluation of inventory space.
And if you deduct from for 350g worth of mats the price to purchase at least 2 additional character slots, bag space, or bigger bags, i doubt that you would have much profit left.
I don’t really understand your point about deducting 350g from anything, I have the space to store the mats as I already currently have 15 character slots filled with alts that I do not use and therefore are ideal for this kind of storage, so its not like I need to buy more slots.
I also have 2 maxed out guild banks with deeps caves, but as I already said, we may as well just discount guild banks as they cannot hold ascended mats or account bound items and therefore have a lesser value per slot.
Anyway I’m happy to know I’m sitting on 350g that has the potential to inflate if we are given more recipes that use ascended mats.

Its what’s known in the trade as …. dazed.
.
I find it hard to fathom that people clog their inventory space with 50s per slot.
Thanks for doing the math, so then 160 slots is 80g, well worth holding onto.
Great opportunity to sell infinite shovels then! It’d be the perfect followup to the infinite continue coin.
Don’t forget the infinite qq.
You get titles that only your enemy sees
Yeah I have no idea what Arenanet were thinking when they introduced this backwards system of only the enemy seeing our rank, the enemy should not know our rank…. and we should be able to show it to our allies. We should at least gain titles for Bronze, Silver, Gold etc that can be chosen at the top of the achievement menu, same way we can choose Legendary Champion etc.
As for WvW reward tracks, well I’m all for it.
If you want to be reasonable, ask for more uses for Dark Matter, but don’t expect anything that will result in you profiting from the material.
I did ask for more uses…
I don’t see the point. You can convert dark matter-> gold through ascended inscriptions/insignias. Since gold makes the world spin ’round in this game, you can turn it into pretty much anything.
Because I do not want to lay out 50-60g worth of mats to make 10g, you may enjoy that and that’s fine, but I would rather have a much more casual use for them, maybe a recipe that uses a few golds worth of mats instead, point is not everyone wants to invest large sums of gold each time they craft something.
I noticed this recently also when buying siege master manuals, took far longer than usual having to accept each one via a confirmation window, this needs to be changed back to how it used to be, if someone accidently buys something that costs 1 shard its no big deal.
Guild Wars 2 combines so many features that I like that it’ll be a nearly impossible act to follow, but I’m going to try anyway.
If it has what you want, then why?
Perhaps he just wants something new? Imagine having tacos every single day for a year. Wouldn’t you love to have something else that has meat, cheese, veggies, and a starch? Pizza comes to mind.
I have eaten Pizza everyday for the last year, I am so conditioned to it that sometimes I don’t even know how much of it I’ve eaten, but when I want some variety I cut it into 8 slices instead of 4, it keeps things interesting.
They just took lord knows how long to make a major revamp to the trait system and you think they are going to pay any attention to your idea now? /facepalm
If you want to be reasonable, ask for more uses for Dark Matter, but don’t expect anything that will result in you profiting from the material.
I did ask for more uses…
So what are the rewards for finishing personal story now? I know we used to get a legendary pact token (still have 3 in the bank) but what do you get now? and can we still use these old tokens?
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pact_Victory_Token
Edit
what I wonder if I still have one of these can I exchange it anywere
Players completing the story now get a Pact weapon chest that allows them to choose a Pact skin. But, if you still have an old token, you can still take it to the quartermaster in Caer Aval (Trahearne’s office in Fort Trinity) and exchange it for your choice of Pact skins.
Alright thankyou.
This person is the altoholic you’ve heard about – with 43 character slots.
Um… nope never heard about you…
(edited by Vavume.8065)
I agree that there needs to be more uses for Dark Matter, but I don’t think salvaging into ectos is a good idea.
It would undermine the ecto economy and/or result in exotic prices spiking.
I think a Dark Matter eating item would be a better solution, personally. Just like the other ascended material eaters, it’s just something to help get rid of an item you don’t really need/have an excess of. It doesn’t guarantee mounds of profit, just maybe the occasional rare material or piece of gear.
The difference would be that 1 Glob of Dark Matter is eaten at a time rather than 50 (it seems more fitting considering the average number people obtain through general play).
I have all 3 “eaters” right now and I have to say I really do not like them, but that is due to the fact that they mostly just give you junk, so I really would not want another one for eating my dark matters, salvaging to crystalline dust would be fine with me or just add more recipes that require them, so no, no more eaters please.

agreed, why should anyone that paid good money for a prepurchase, to be a part of the game developing, have any advantages ?! vets already know the game….let someone new play!!
They will be playing on a new borderland… vets do not know how that plays outside of watching vids.
@ Turamarth Thanks.
LOL at giving Streamers priority over actual WvW players, guilds, tiers. This is nothing but a bad joke of a PR stunt.
Doc is an actual WvW player with a guild in tier 4. Matches your ‘requirements’.
Is he or his guild ‘good’? Not really, probably. Does that matter? Not really. And this way they grab some extra publicity with it.
It’s only 35 spots.
Could you give me a link to the source that says its 35 spots and who is already accepted?
… and turn a little to the right to get your good side.
Prob a bug, I’ve noticed things like Spotter buff on gates also.

So where is my invite then?
Why should you get an invite over anyone else?
Because I have played more WvW than most, and I feel that players that have played the most deserve to be first in line.
