Its not broken like AB was (good riddance) but it still provides a decent amount of leather.

Just leave it alone. I finally came to realize that condi is the only thing that can kill anything in this meta. If they gut epidemic fights are going to be long and boring.
The way to fix epidemic would have to be a huge change that will cause the entire meta to change.
2-1-1 is bad bad bad. 2nd place server just get punished too much for it while weakest server gets heavily rewarded for no reason. change it already wth!?!?
You don’t need to know how the enemy commander looks or what his rank is to recognize him……
Either karma or magic find. I use karma.
I think magic find is completely useless though, on matter how much of it i stack its just never enough to be noticeable.
So karma is pretty much the only infusion that gives you at least anything in wvw.

Stealth makes life easier in a lot of situations.

i agree on 1 thing. ‘guild wars’ is a very unfitting name.
gvg was the closest thing to ‘guild wars’ but anet saw that as a threat to wvw and pretty much kill it.
now there isnt anything that really justifies the name ‘guild wars’.
Literally no point for any off-peak players on smaller servers to play anymore.
If you don’t come first, you might as well just go play something else.

People need to understand that this system punishes both the first and second strongest servers.
The strongest server gets 2v1’d. DIRECTLY encouraged by the new system, even more than the 321 system.
The second strongest server will get the same amount of points as the weakest server regardless of how they perfrom. Meaning the weakest server can finish all skirmishes in a day at 1k points and still be tied for second place in the overall matchup with a server that finishes all the skirmishes at 4k points…
berry farm nerf was good and those stupid packets need to be nerfed further tbh.
I opened 10 packets yesterday and got 3 ascended crafting mats worth 25gold…
That is way too high of a rate considering how cheap they are…

Plenty of reasons.
It is a direct encouragement for 2v1’s vs the leading server. Even more than the current system. The game mode is 1v1v1.
If two server are close in a skirmish while the 3rd is doing nothing, the server that comes 2nd get as much as the server that gets 3rd despite trying so hard. It does not show the true strength of the 2nd strongest server. Will only encourage people to leave wvw since their hard work LITERALLY means nothing under this scoring system.
I actually haven’t seen a single spoon drop for me in.. maybe a year now?
And I play wvw quite a lot.
The drop rate used to be pretty high, like 2-3/week easily. But then they changed something and.. yeah.. no more spoons.

Focused Solar Logging Tool does 4 gathers per click instead of 3, which is nice for when the WvW bonus grants extra swings.
Likewise the Glitter Bomb Harvesting Tool does 3 gathers per click instead of 1. Again, nice for wvw bonus gathers, and perfect for guild hall harvesting.
Nothing compares to the Watchwork Mining Pick though.
Wait am I understanding this correctly…
If Im in front of a gather node, like the guild hall for example. I press “gather” and my char picks 3 items from a single gather?
So would that mean you only need to gather 2 times to get all 4 mats from the guildhall harvest nodes?
And same for the logging axe, you would only need 3 gathers (4+4+2) to get everything instead of 4????
edit: Is the speed of those 2 tools the same as others?
If yes, those tools are definitely worth since they will save a lot of time gathering 1 node multiple times.
I would really love to know if that’s the case. Ill definitely be on a lookout for those tools if all this is so much faster..

I agree with the veteran creature daily.. that one doesnt seem to do anything with wvw except being in a wvw map…..
The rest are completely fine though.
It’s a good change in tiers with BALANCE population. There it actually a good incentive to have people fight over T3 objectives. Create more fights hopefully.
But the problem is populations aren’t balanced at all especially in higher tiers. So this change only rewards the more stacked servers.
Im okay with them keeping cannons if they fix them first.
Increase siege cap so you can’t stack like 10 of them in 1 spot…
Also make them cost more supply…

2 main issues for me.
1. No real ‘end-game’. Once you have full ascended set(s) there isn’t really anything left to farm for. I do farm some cosmetics to make my char look nice, but it doesn’t really do it for me.
I see WvW as the only somewhat viable ‘end-game’ activity honestly.
2. WvW is in a terrible state. Really lame tanky + condi meta which I personally dislike a lot. Very bad population balances and just overall a lot of bad decisions from Anet’s side. (like opening BG for transfers).
At this poing it’s not even the WvW that’s holding me in the game, its my friends that play this.
If something they need to lower population per map down to 50 (same size as squad).
This will:
1. reduce skill lags in 3-way sm fights
2. create queues on over stacked servers (BG…) and hopefully make ppl get sick of queues and transfer out. Then if they over stacked server destack a bit Anet might go back to like 5 tiers to spread the population better.
But yeah… player caps should absolutely not be increased.
Yes what you said makes sense. But this is only true to the very small servers or those with very few active players.
But this is 100’s of players we are talking about, not 10.
What this means is that on average all the server will have relatively the same activity times per player. The the players that plays 30 min will be balanced by those who play 12 hours. This is the case on every major server that has a large enough player base.
Anet should have a dynamic population threshold.
The 3 most populated servers should ALWAYS be full no matter how many ppl they have.
The third most populated server should be the “100% bar”, even if it means some server will be 150% full (or 250+++% in BG case….).
When the #4 server gains enough ppl to and surpasses #3, it becomes closed and the new server becomes open.
this way servers that actually LACK player will remain open while the stacked ones will always be closed.
Also it doesn’t have to be top 3. It can also be like 5 or more… the higher the number the more balance population will become over time.
Im mindblown and disappointed in you anet.
You need to UNSTACK those server but instead you unlock them to stack them even more.
And you’re telling me the server that is ABSOLUTELY dominating in T1 has less pop that the t4 servers?

Can this pls be fixed?It’s not just the loading times, which are approaching 30 seconds to get into the game alone on every single start of the game, it’s also the fact that the waypoint is not staying active for the “stated” time.
There are many times when an EWP has been pulled and instead of being there for xxx time, it’s gone in less than ten seconds, leaving most who are loading in, back to spawn and losing the darn property.

Some ppl can see and take it immediately.. some have to wait for like 5-10sec for it to appear.

Replace like 80% of the tomes of knowledge in reward tracks with a “box of siege”.
Make box of siege drop 2-3 piece of siege blueprints with slight chance of it being superior…
Or even better replace ALL the tomes in the reward track with something else, and instead make a “lvling track” which gives a bunch of tomes just for those that actually need them.
Honestly I have several stacks of tomes, over 5k spirit shards, and every class I ever want to play already at lvl 80. I DONT NEED MORE TOMES!

Im a little confused about the how to get more mad king chests…
I did the clock tower on my ele a few days ago, and got the chest. sadly all it had a was lame exotic and 5 ToT bags.
I did the tower again yesterday on my DH and got another mad king chest, but this time I could choose from a lot more things, one of which was a candy corn cob.
I redid the clock tower again on my DH today and got only 5 ToT bags today…
So my question.. how do i get more of the mad king chests? Is there a limit?
The tower clock is pretty hard to complete and it kind of sucks waste so much time to finally do it and get just 5 ToT bags…

But for sure, they will need to fix them a bit first. Maybe up the price a bit and make them siege cap a bit.
I mentioned something like this in the past.
There should be local, dynamic “outnumbered buff” which gives the smaller group fighting the much bigger group some means to actually deal with the bigger…
Right now most abilities are capped at hitting 5 enemies. What this buff would do is for every 10 (obviously this number an be experimented with) people you are outmanned in the fight, you get to affect +1 target with you abilities. For example this means necro wells will hit 6 enemies or guard will grant stab to 6 allies.
This buff could scale by how much you are outmanned in a fight.
down by 10 players = +1 target,
down by 20 players = +2 targets, etc.
This buff would only be given to players in a certain range from the fight area and as the smaller group gains numbers the buff may change from say +3 targets to +2 targets…
This will give the smaller groups a better chance as wiping a brainless blob that can just run through your dmg because of their numbers…
Smaller more skilled groups should be better at the fighting aspect of wvw, while mindless blobs should be better at the objective capping aspect.
Idk if this is even possible lol but I feel like this sort of change would be fair for both sides…
Absolutely NOT to this suggestion. You are basically asking anet to nerf boons and buff conditions. Conditions are already OP enough as they are…
Maybe if in return condis also get some changes, then this could work.. but condis do not need to be any stronger than they are already… if something they need to be tuned down…
I do agree that some boons are really annoying and with boonshare it is even worse. It looks like boonshares are getting nerfed very soon so we have to see how it plays out..
