Im thinking about voting no. It is simply too easy and effective for blobs… and anything that is good for blobs is a BIG NO NO from me.
The idea behind the pairing was right. The execution was not.
What Anet needed to do (at least for NA server) is to simply merge the bottom 2 tiers with the next bottom two tiers.
The higher tiers, while they were indeed unbalanced, the linking didn’t really help fix that either.

Absolutely awful changes. Individually they seem fine but when you combine them together + already existing TERRIBLE mechanics of some fractals it becomes hell…

So I have a looooong way to go until I reach the daily cap. The thing is ever since I found out about this cap.. I have been less motivated to log in and get those daily 10AP knowing that there is a cap on it anyway… 1 daily sooner or later wont change much.
Having that cap is really not a good idea……

My problem with gw2 is kinda similar.
Once you have some 80s, and have full ascended sets… there isn’t really much to do from that point. Legendaries are kinda pointless for me cause I don’t really care too much about looks.. but I still made one out of boredom.
The game lacks some truly challenging content with actually good rewards…. and I’m not taking about tons of champ bags which will give me 100s of greens and blues..

I don’t mind grinding a lot, as long as it is actually rewarding. But right now, nothing in gw2 feels like it’s worth the effort.

Every time I do /wiki it opens it in the ingame browser lol. When I buy gems and click “go to paypal” it also opens in that browser… which is my problem..
But its w.e now. I just copy-paste it into chrome manually and got my gems…
Still tho.. Anet should look into that browser not wanting to open paypal.. kinda annoying… I spent like an hour trying to open it over and over lol…

Wvw skill lags are one of my biggest issues.
But I understand that that is something really hard to fix.

Same here. Longest I was in field of ruins was maybe 5 min? Then I got kicked back to where I came from and all my progress went back to 0 (rolled back).

I went to field of ruin for the daily, gathered some trees.. BAM kicked and lost all progress…
The funny thing is all my progress on the map gets erased, the events I do, the stuff I gather… but the silvers it takes to WP there dont come back… Lol…..

Game’s been down for way too long. I think at this point some sort of compensation for both the losses in progress and the very long downtime would be right. Even something small.
Paying real money to buy ingame gold is not pay to win.
Pay to win is being able to buy direct power for real money which you cannot get otherwise.
GW2 will never be a pay to win game as long as:
1. you can trade gold for gems.
2. Anet doesnt sell gear/costumes or w.e in the gem store that gives combat stats.
As long as free users can get anything that paying users can get it is not pay to win at the slightest…
How does having a different BL gonna reflect on wvw bloodlust? Is the red server simply will not have that buff at all anymore???

So there are a bunch of pages around Bloodstone Fen and when you collect em all you end up having a total of 6 books in your inventory (3 complete and 3 incomplete.. for some reason..).
My question is… what are they for?
Should I just throw them away? Or will they be useful for something in the future? Like as a currency of some sort or tradable for gold with an NPC or something?
Right now I just have 6 inventory slots taken by there for no reason..

I like reaper a lot since HoT came around, and now that my favorite class was hammered to the ground with nerfs, I was looking to get more into reaper.
Personally I dislike the condis in this game that is why I prefer to stick to physical dmg reaper.
I honestly love reaper shroud.. but lets be honest… outside of the shroud itself everything else about reaper is pretty bad.
The shouts are “ok” at best… Chilled To The Bone is prolly the only one I can say that is actually good, but the fact that it takes 1.25 seconds to cast it… ughhh.
The traits are pretty lame as well.
- Blighter’s Boon just doesn’t feel good enough to be a grandmaster trait.. It is okay, but just is not grandmaster tier.
- Deathly Chills used to be crazy good but now its a just a joke…..
- Reaper’s Onslaught is also really underwhelming.. Either make it increase GS attack speed as well or make it also reduce the cool down on shroud skills(+the shroud itself maybe) by like 3 seconds for every kill while outside the shroud.
The one trait that is good is Decimate Defenses but its only good in pve (whereas I am more of a wvw player myself).
What I would like to see for traits is something like:
- Shivers of Dread = make it so that enemies hit by reaper shroud 1, 2 an 4 skills get chilled for 1 sec (no ICD) OR while in Reaper Shroud, chill 5 targets that are close to you (like radius of 180) 2 sec chill every 3 seconds . This will synergize really well with the some of the other traits, like Deathly Chills and Cold Shoulder.
- Soul eater = Keep reduce recharge on GS skills + add GS skills do 10% more dmg (like it is with other GS using classes) and also make GS skills steal a bit of life.
- Blighter’s Boon should replace Chilling Victory.. I feel like there are enough ways to get might as it is. Then make a new GM trait.. Maybe something a bit hybrid between condi and normal dmg… something like dmg amplifications based on number of condis on your enemy? Like +2% dmg for each condition on your target? I dunno…
Lastly, the GS skills can potentially be great but the problem is they are sooo slooow..
Also you don’t get the reset on Gravedigger… you’re done… you have no more dps. I really wish they would make the 1 skill a little faster to fill in for extra dmg… Also maybe lower CD on the other skills by a bit?

Siege damage on players should not reward the users with bags/wexp.
The “reward” for using siege should just be the ability to defend/take over the objective.

Using a portal to the end of a JP should not award absolutely anything.
Mes should still be able to use ports to as a tool to actually do the JP by himself or with a party.. but straight up teleporting to the very end of a JP should not be a thing.
Everyone know DBL isn’t the reason WvW died… Otherwise, the people that quit because of DBL would be back when ABL came back. Now tell me why these people still not here? DBL was just used as an excuse for people who wanted to quit the game due other factors.
Technically DBL is far worse to defend than ABL due the super large side keeps and the distance between the objectives… Saying that the server that gets DBL as home BL will always win is utter nonsense as the people who care about score will go where the PPT is easier to get (which means, DBL). The people that hate DBL are people who usually roam and look for fights, and that’s because DBL was such a pain to navigate prior the changes made in April (Some of these people still hate it without even testing the map after these changes).
HoT in general was what killed wvw. But DBL played a really big role in it too. We all know the state of wvw even before HoT was really bad, a lot of people were waiting for HoT to see what it brings and the disappointment of it just made a lot of people leave to play other games. Basically it was the last straw for a lot of people.
And yeah I can see why saying the side with the DBL will always win is wrong.
There is always a chance the defending side doesn’t care enough about DBL to defend it… so small havoc groups will just flip everything. I’ll admit I was wrong on that one.
I would love to see statistics after a few months of having DBLs just to see how many people actually go into the DBL map vs the 2 ABL maps.
If everybody hate dbl, no one will play there.

I was in T2 for whole time while DBL was here, no one cared about anything except ramparts. My old guild leader loved running in that map a lot so I joined him every now and then.. and I can tell ya it was empty 99% of the time… 1% had a ktrain going. zero fights outside of reset night.
But someone has to or it couldnt get capped to be with. But even if we assume that a server has 100% of dbl at some point, your reasoning must apply to all sides of a matchup or it’s not true. That includes the server that has dbl as home. Which means it will be so easy for few people to swoop in and cap half the border before anyone even bother defending.
You are painting a very simplistic binary scenario that wont hold up in practice.
Like I said we will have enemy zergs in the DBL at reset night.. after prime time ends, the defending side will cap everything and will just leave it.
Maybe I am wrong and even the defending side will not care a single bit about their home BL just because its DBL and small groups and that actually seem to like the DBL will just ktrain there freely… Idk. I know I will not go back in to the DBL map not to defend and not to attack.
Even if it does, then so what? It’s just a border. No one care about borders. Everyone and their grandma is on EB anyway. Just like how it’s been since GW2 release.
If you think EBG queues are bad now, then it is only gonna get worse. If they added 3 DBL maps, a lot of people would quit the game because they would get sick of waiting in queue for EBG.
Luckily we will most like end up having having 2 ABL maps, so that will help pull some pressure off EBG.
Though I personally would not like to see DBL at all, unless Anet does a MAJOR rework of that map.

They are awful in every way. It’s literally another EotM map…
And as OP said, when we get the 2 ABL and 1 DBL thing are going be even more unbalanced…. the team that gets to be on the side with the DBL home BL will always win because no one will ever bother going into the DBLs to flip anything.

Many of you have been inquiring as to why we made the decision to remove the crafting stations in WvW. We made this decision because we have been seeing an increase in queue times with world linking. Upon observation we found there have been players taking up space in the maps who are only crafting and not participating with their teams. However, we’ve been listening to your feedback today and we wanted to let you know that we will be adding a banker to each team starting area in EB, Alpine and Desert. I don’t agree with removing the target cap, but having a buff that increases it by a bit for groups that fighting outnumbered fights would be nice.
I mentioned this in the past somewhere. It would give smaller skilled groups a better chance at wiping blobs and hopefully encourage more small scale fights.

GW2 treated AoE like a standard skill. AoE should have been VERY limited and basically a single elite skill choice per class with some exceptions. Had most skills been single target, the skill lag present in the game now would be non existent at these population levels.
I doubt AoE will be as profilific if there is a GW3.

it is. linked servers have a cap 1/2 of un-linked servers….

consume all for tomes of knowledge wouldnt be the best thing because it stacks to 250. Consume X would be better, click that and type how many you want to use.
You can take a stack of tomes and split it in to how many tomes you want to use and then use the consume all on the number of tomes you want to use.
I just hope BP is relinked in T3 personally. I like FA a lot, but the fights in T2 are boring compared to T3.

Mag has no guild that will fight you unless they have 50 pugs and/or 2 more guild groups with them.
SBI (CD) has one guild that will most likely be leaving to T2 on the 24th.
SoS gonna lose few guilds that play on NA on the 24th as well.
I think T2 is going to be the place to be for when it comes to fights.
Also T4 will get some new mtchups very soon.
Sadly this is the reality of T3.
Cursed Shore events were bugged for years.. I wouldn’t expect this stuff to get fixed any time soon..
Try camping for this event after a maintenance or something.. would be your best bet..
I agree, for a level 80 character who is just trying to get spirit shards I don’t see why there isn’t a Use All option. You could make the argument that we are getting it for free, yet ANet implemented the same thing for Luck essence so I don’t think this is automatically off the table

Isn’t WvW a PvP mode? People duel because they want to get better, obtain deep knowledge of game mechanics and then become more efficient asset for WvW. People like this make new builds and metas. And objectively I don’t see any problem with that but what I see is all those kittening “wvw players” losing their precious lewt bag blob fights and then blaming it on the duellers which are already scarce thanks to you “wvw community”.
Blobber? If a 20-25 man guild group is a blob to you, then I guess…?
PvP is part of WvW, but that is when you actually kill the other guy and do something for your server.
If all you do is duel until one guy is down and then let him res then you are literally doing nothing helpful.
If you don’t like the pvp mode go to OS.

No extra dmg. But what I would like to see is an ability to add sigils into the a legendary weapon and then be able to choose which sigils you want to run depending on the situation, similarly to how you can choose stats on a legendary weapon.
When we are perma outnumbered, of course all we can do is siege up.
Feel free to transfer elsewhere, sadly server is dying anyway.
edit: That said, there are still groups that will go out and fight other groups even if outnumbered, I dont agree with sieging up and sitting in a keep all day, as it is not fun one bit… but this happens to every server…
