Obino fury increase your crit by 20% flat, if all you don’t solo roam and only roam with a rev to give you fury and swiftness I can see your point. But if you solo roam at all pack is better than dura. 25% is nothing compared to 33% movment speed in combat bro. Most classes now like Revs, Rangers, eles even gaurds if they run retreat have perma switfness. you are not going to catch them with 25%. And if you try to kite somone who has swiftness and all you got is 25% your not going to be able to kite that. They will easily catch you.

Berserker was always better than Standard warrior also, as it has superior Cleansing ability and better AOE. 2 pretty important things for roaming.

With a better min max here is a Pack rune build with better stats. Arguably much better than Obinos build. This build is way more offensive than his, if you want to add leaching to it fine its still way more offensive. While his build is stuck at 49% crit This build spikes to 73% crit and has more damage. So ya the protection and regen probably helps him becasue he cant kill anyone fast. And he has no way to get swiftness at all to help him kite like a pack rune build has.

Instead of running intelligence on the ax since you get 73% crit on this build u can run like agility sigil that with the pack rune = perma swiftness in combat. Thats way better than being stuck at 25% movement and 49% crit like his build and still doing less damage. While outside the 3 secs of Protection and regen his build gets its has no more sustain than this one. personally I think that running dura is not worth it compared to this build. It’s a lazy way to make a build for someone who can’t min max a build properly. It’s like just throw some dura runes on there OK done…Substandard build.

I think everyone still agrees for warrior strength or pack runes are still the best. With Scholar being really great too when u can get the jump on other players. OP you are wrong about Mini Liadri. It was EZ PZ to get unless you are bad at the game. Even if you are a terrible player you could make a condi build with double energy sigils and cheese it. It was so easy with that, that I know everyone who used condi beat her.

What I think is dyes fall in 2 categories Gradient and non gradient. single, 2 tone, and 3 tones.

Regardless if a dye is sorted as natural metallic, natural leather, or Vibrant isn’t an indication of if its gradient or not.

Most of the more gradiant dyes are Rare dyes but not all the rare dyes are gradient.

You can run Pack runes like Wolfric Suggested and Furious sharpening stone and like a soldier amulet and litterally have better stats than both of your builds.

Warrior is the one class that absolutely doesn’t need durability runes. It already has Warrior sprint, Dogged March, Brawlers recovery, Cleansing Ire, Several Other utilities to clear condis and a Ton of no strippable Resistance.

Who ever told you to run Dura runes on warrior is BAD. Out of all classes Warrior is the one that doesn’t need them.

Learn to play base warrior 1st and get good at that, then learn berserker. Otherwise you be be trash like all the other new warriors.

Other classes have telegraphs too, , with the exception of maybe thief, you just have to know what to look for.

Being Said its not the issue of war skills being easy to see its that some of them are slow, and clunky.

You mentioned Roaming If I am roaming and I want somone to roam with me I would pick anything but a ranger becasue I know no matter what I need I can have somone run a class, spec or a build that will out perform what a ranger does.

Its a trash noob class its simple. And it will never be a great class as long as their pet is counted as half or more than half of their damage. If pets are too strong they get nerfed into the ground and they are already mostly useless due to bad pathing and easy to avoid attacks. That makes the character themself weaker than every other class. Rangers are 2 things. Either easy to kill or can’t kill anyone one by themselfs and only run. That means all you can do is Pew pew from saftey and hope somone does’t gap close you and wreck you. Or run some condis and hope whoever you are fighting isn’t a noob and runs no cleanses.

Pretty sure the bug is caused by something a ranger does, and I think it is related to the mid air immob bug but being mid air isn’t necessary for it to happen. And I think the trait that cause it is ancient seeds. (when u strike a foe that is stuned dazed or knock down, immobile them)

cool idea but i think a better elite would be give use burst skills for off hand weapons, give warrior more utility that way, and more decisions like to use or not to use main burst or off hand burst.

well for Maguma jungle i think the condi clear on swap is better than having a banner. I’ve had some sick condis put on me by mobs before.

well hate to say it but the active arinal healing is new? We played warrior for 4 years without it. When we started the game warrior didn’t even have healing signet like now or condi cleanse. So your going to have to break yourself of it as you are using it as a crutch and we never had it for years and were fine.

don’t do arms. If you must why not just use a shield and put stances on your bar.

GS axe Shield. Put endure pain and like zerkers stance on your bar or something.

Also key bind the dodge skill and use it. I will give you a tip. If you are zerker you will kill fast enough tha everything dies before you die.

Try using Omnnomberry pies food, and maybe like sigil of blood on GS. So like Force and blood sigils. That should give you plenty of regen. Other sigils you can do like leaching on Axe for life steal.

well you should work on getting better, and stop using defense tree in pve, unless you are trying to do somthing by yourself that most people need a zerg for.

no fast hands, and no 25% passive speed and no burst mastery is bad. You give up too much when you don’t take discipline. If this is for PVE you wouldn’t chose defense over discipline. In PVP defense and Discipline is essential.

2.5k bleeds are nothing when you tick for 5k burns on condi berserker. I can get 17 stacks of burn on 1 target. Thats far superior to anything a hybrid build can do.

5k burns pretty much defeats everything u said. 2.5k Bleeds also have a long ramp up time while 5k burns dont. My response was a response to somone who wanted to use krait runes. Or runes of berserker.

Bleed is very old meta at this point for warriors. When you can 1 shot players with burns.

Pretty much 100% burning is the way to go becasue of the way the berserker traits are designed they havelow durations like 1 sec in some cases 1 sec of burning is nothing.

Good example is flaming fury with 100% duration its 2 seconds per hit vs 1. Thats pretty substantial.

If I want to roam in wvw I would never use a viper build, Trailblazer, Rabid mix. You will get destroyed on viper.

Also my build is 100 times better but i’m only giving the build out through PMs. Since its too good to release to the masses.

Hybrid is pretty bad imo. And I don’t think its better than pure condi or pure power.

It amounts to weak power and weak condis. If you are not rocking 100$burn duration flaming fury and torch are weak. With krait your bleeds might be nice but burning is a lot stronger than bleeding.

To each his own though if you don;t know better like me you will probably dismiss what I said.

In the zerg context Bloody Roar is good if you have good gaurds rotating stab and giving it to you. In certain duels and somtimes roaming depending on what your fighting it can be good. If thats not the case than EC is much better.

In Zerg fights I tend to not reley on EC alone 1 stack can be stripped really easy so I usually run Balanced stance and EC if the Zergs im fighting are really fat.

Balanced stance + EC Is good, Dolyack I think is too prone to corrupt boon, while the pulsing stab makes it so you cant be stripped of it.

It says accumulating in timberline falls, people stand around for hours, nothing is happening.

Axe off hand is a newish player choice, or a bad choice.

to add to that if you are taking stance duration to make your kooky build somohow work you forgo all cleanses and you are losing your passive healing sig. That means wait 9 secs strip dump condis and your done.

Also absortpion unlike all other things that strip steal boons prioritises resistance. res is the #1 thing it strips 1st always.

100% boon duration isnt required to get near perma resistance. It is actually more like 70%ish boon duration. Don’t worry, ill figure it out.

BTW the idea that sigil of absorption or any boon removal/stealing trait will break this build is absurd considering resistance pulses when zerker stance is used.

Wrong Berserkers stance will only pulse for 9-12 seconds depending on traits after that the boon is consolidated into a single strip able stack. What makes you think you are right? Berserk stance also has an obvious tell as it displays an icon while active. I don’t know why I even helped you since you think you know everything yet clearly dont. The only time this build is immune to boon riping or stealing is during those 9-12 seconds. That hardly perma.

You absolutely cannon get perma resistance at 70% math says so.

Here is the problem and why its not feasible.

Only Legendary Back pieces have commander stats. Only way to get an amulet with commanders stats unless you can but it with raid tokens is the Mordrem loop and you will have to select those stats.

Only way to get Boon duration on Rings and accessory is to buy the each item with Magnitite shards and then craft it so you can select Wanderers stats. There is no commanders stats.

TLDR you need 1000 Magnitite shards, Legendary Backpack and the Mordrem loop or 1250 Magnitite to reach 100% boon duration on a warrior.

You may be able to craft exotic boon duration accessory but I think you wont reach 100% since unless I am wrong they give less.

Yah I recognize a few players on the losing team I remember them on my teams in ruby and they never stood out to me a fantastic players.

Do you use the builder? Doesn’t sound like you do or know about it.

Obviously this is a bad build but its the only way to reach 100% Boon Duration on a Warrior.

3×6=18 seconds+12+12= 42 seconds
4×6=24+12+12+12=60 seconds

Max I can see this working is resistance for 1 min 36 seconds. You will run into zerker bieng on CD after the 2nd pop and healing sig on CD. But I think you can manage it.

BTW if anyone is running absortion sigil it will ruin your build.

It is available to all if you play well enough to carry. That is the point I tried to make. If you don’t carry your team as a solo player you will not get it. Some teams you cannot carry. But every team is different you get on a team where at least 1 others are trying to carry as well you win. You will never get fair matches you have to play better. If you can’t do this than your not good enough to make it.

You have to win that 1v1, you have to bunk that point long enough for your team to help you, and you can’t waste time in matches doing pointless things and make mistakes. You have to read the map and cap that point that no one is on and hold it and communicate with your team to hold 2 points so they know.

Most of the terrible players or 90% of the players will just cap something then leave. I never do this unless I have to leave. If you own home and you cap far. You don’t leave far. You sit there and hold your home and hold that far until you can cap mid. Or you ignore mid etc.
90% of the terrible players literally are playing with thier eyes closed sit there and waste time fighting over mid when u own far and home and then get home back capped. if you are not vocal in communicating whats happening they will never figure it out.

The point is the decks was stacked against my warrior early on and I did what I had to do. Best advice I received was that I gotta carry my team, I had to carry all of the terrible players with a warrior in S1 and 2. Cuz the terrible players are not going to carry you. So You know what I did I carryed them they best I could by playing smart and bursting people down and spiking them.

If you are not killing other players on your own or taking out players where the makority of the DPS is you, you are not carrying. If you are getting 1 pushed and dieing all the time you are not helping. And if you are not reading the map and strategically capping and holding objectives you are not carrying. If you are doing all of this and still losing then come complain. But I am willing to bet you are not.

I main warrior and don’t know how to play anything else and I got to ruby season 1 SOLO when It was trash, season 2 SOLO when it was trash, and Diamond now season 3 SOLO when it is good but not even the best and I got my Legendary done. And I am not even that good.

So I have really no sympathy for the people complaing, I bet you would never have been able to get to ruby in S1 on a warrior if you can’t get to ruby on your OP class.

The match maker is unfair but, realistically its probably hard to find 10 players that are equally as unskilled as some of the players posting in here.

I don’t mean it to sound rude but thats essential what is being asked. You don’t like the fact that you are being matched against better players so want anet to match you with players that are as equally bad as you are. Then that way you can coast to Diamond or legendary where you don’t belong.

When running GS Rifle your defense traits are 2-2-2 since you dont have a shield.

While I think I am giving you bad advice, it is exactly what you wanted. You don’t tank in Gw2 in PVE.

Tanky on warrior means spamming your burst skills to keep your active adrinal healing up.

The Pvp legend looks like a picnic blanket. It wins the ugly wool sweater contest. It’s unworthy of being legendary status.

I just made Diamond too. As a solo player, not once did i party with anyone and I grinded out 20 wins on Necro and Ele that I don’t even know how to play.

See the difference OP I think you are a below average player at best. And you are not as good as you think you are. I am definitely not great either. But wow.
