It’s less damage I would run them on Vanilla Warrior and maybe a trash zerker set bought with badges or Karma instead of deleting str runes. It’s less dammage loss if you run vanilla warrior.
Think though 4K heal every 30 seconds when you block and stacks of regen every time you block. The defender runes probably add 5k additional healing every 30 seconds.
Add leeching, Blood, Omn ghost or mango pie its like 7k-8k aditional healing every 30 seconds.

I’m on Mag and we spawn killed your server to 2 weeks before the server mergers.
It’s true DH was on the rise and what happened was that it became the T8 bandwagon where all the lesser skilled lower tiered players hoped onto. DH then turned into a low tier blob server and ktrained doors till they got to T3.
When they got to T3 they soon realized that they had a lot of players that were willing to fight but they had a lot of players that don’t know how to fight, and have no coordination at all. Hence the T8 low tier bandwagon.
They thought they were really hot though but when you just blob down lower tiers you never have to fight anyone good so when you got to T3 you realized that pretty fast. NSP and EBAY at the time this was happening even though they had less players at the time always could provide Mag with much better fights than DH.
NSP and EBAY players were much more skilled and better. DH implodes becasue it was a bandwagon of low tier players that got farmed.

Spawn camping doesn’t hurt the game, because spawn camping isn’t possible unless the players being spawn camped allow themselves to be spawn camped.

I think that ANET has made it so it’s impossible to spawn camp in wvw. That why I made the point that I did about experience and coordination. If a server gets spawn killed its becasue they are making bad decisions because of a lack of experience.
They could hop maps, go out another exit, create a diversion many other things, than allow your self to be a bag dispenser. They could also not lose thier keep to begin with during time zones when if they played better wouldn’t lose it.
Mag almost never took overlook from SBI the way they defend it. And SBI has way less people than DH and over look is the most defend able keep on the map.

Ricky I think you are confusing numbers with competition. Just because a server is more stacked than another one and prioritizes PPT over fighting doesn’t make them competitive.
I will be totally honest with you Less skilled or newer players stack on low tier server and blob and ktrain down equally newer or less skilled players. That doesn’t make it a competitive server.
Then such a server goes up and is matched with more veteran players and servers, that have better coordination, better guilds, and better pugs. That isn’t offering competition its offering bags.
Spawn killing is not aginst the rules. And don’t take advice from T1 servers. they have been match fixing the game for years and have meetings with each other to decide what weeks who will ppt or take a break at the game. T1 is only about PPT.

This Destro here. I will tell it how it is. DH and everyone in the lower tiers stacked on that server. Players with no experience at all.
DH then went PPT try hard and came to T3 where it doesn’t belong. Servers like NSP and EB T4 servers Have much more skilled players than DH yet lacked the coverage to deal with this over stacked T6 server.
Mag has been rebuilding for a long time now and has been in T3-T4 for a long time now and we are ready to go to T2 because Mag is way too big for T4 and T3 in its current state is trash.
T3 was good before Bannok quit the game and SBI imploded. Now SOS is in T3 and is a dead server. We have no intrest at all in being here and your server DH provides Zero incentive for us to stay.
DH has the players but not the coordination or skill to leave their spawn. You are being spawn camped because if you leave spawn you will just resume doing the same thing that you have been doing which got you matched with us. That is PPT.
So here is advice. Either get good at the game or stop ktraining to move up in tiers where you can’t compete.

If every game you played all of the players on your team and your enemy team were of equal skill level which they are not and you then climbed a division That would indicate your skill level.
This isn’t at all how your MMR system works right now. Lets be real here the only way you could judge a solo players skill level is by points, but currently your point system doesn’t accurately reflect a players skill and it has nothing to do with player MMR.
The only thing you have to go by to judge a players skill is did this team win or did this team lose. But if teams are completely random and you rig the teams anyway by letting what you consider higher MMR teams have easy wins how can you with a strait face even say your math reflects player skill.
Sure super bad players will never progress and thats fine but you often group super bad players with good ones and you make the good ones lose.

Evan Lesh, I have a suggestion. Code the match making system so it works like normal and stop caving to players. Because here is the problem players cryed and asked for a flawed system so you implemented a flawed system to cater to them. Then they got free rides to legendary. Then once they got there instead of turning off the flawed system you let it run all season when its purpose was no longer needed and all it did was cause problems.
Any system that takes 10 solo players basically then picks a winning team and then picks a losing team is not only a terrible idea but it doesn’t work at all.

ANET It is the community’s opinion that personal score means nothing because it has no correlation to how good a player played in conquest.
ANET if you changed the objectives to ones that meaningfully reflect how well a player performs in this game mode then you would be able to use math to figure out if a player is good or bad.
The way your math works now judges if a player is good or bad just based on wins and loses. This system would work great if we assume players are always in the same group of 5 players. What you are really judging is a teams performance not an individual players performance.
Heres the problem Majority of the PVP community doesn’t have static 5 mans they are pugs and at most are 2-3 man groups but usually PVP is solo players.
Your system doesn’t work because you have no way to accurately gauge a solo players performance at all. yet your math makes a lot of assumptions that are just wrong.
So you need to really change personal score so that objectives accuratly reflect a solo players performance thank you. Then you may have a system that works.

It’s a non issue, and its not an opinion its a fact. When the game was very new there may have been some niche racial uses. Like reaper of grenth on condi warrior. Thats not mentioning that was before torment and before condi power creep. Condis were considered a joke and no one used them.
Fast forward 3 years of power creeps and elite specs no one uses racial skills. They are underpowered on every single class and every single race. The only recent use of racial abilites that I have heard of was using technobabble on assuras to help break bars of raid bosses. But even that is dwarfed by the asinine amounts of CC in the game now.
Racial skills cannot be used in pvp. And its always been ANETs official position that they are weaker versions of class skills already existing in game.
So welcome to reality bro nice thread 3 years too late. I glad that you found what I wrote interesting I suggest that you learn to play warrior better then you will understand why threads like this are pointless.

Thief is not all that bad in fact thief can carry a lot of games by keeping far capped decapped all game. It’s a tell tale sign hes bad at thief. Doesn’t understand how to rotate as a thief.
No one that makes these threads ever takes responsibility for losses its always anet put me on s bad team. That may be true but not every team is so bad that you can’t carry them and if you can’t carry half bad teams your never going to win. Bcuz half bad teams make up a majority of the teams i’m on and I still win.

Ah so the tactic line is making a comeback. 6k at every stun break is a bit op, I can’t believe people still think we don’t have sustain. Warriors have sustain, our main problem are revs. Revs are and will alays be stronger than us. I’ll check if last stand and stamina will yield me the same cd on dogde as warhorn + stamina.
Its not 6k at every stun break its 6k only when u break the stun with shake it off. The build is interesting however it has zero offensive pressure. I understand that is the point, but you can’t carry solo q if you cant kill anyone.

ya the point is if you are losing more than you win your not going to progress regardless of MMR but your MMR is probably low if you don’t have better than an average 50/50 win loss ration becasue of the way ANET has stacked the odds against you this season. Chances are you are ending up on the low MMR losing teams.
If you want to be on the winning team you can’t have low MMR. If you are Low MMR and lose more than you win IE 200 games won 90 loss in my example. You are just going to have to group up and carry the low MMR players and win using voicecoms and help for another good player or players to carry them.
ANETS logic is its looks at your MMR if its low puts you on the losing team. Don’t solo you will never progress if this applys to u.

I know Lotta people complaining but its simple.
Imaginary math. If you have 200 games played and only won 90 of them you are never going to progress. You are going to have to win 2/3s of your matches to get well above 50% for any chance to move up.
Here is advice stop solo queing. Find 1-2 other players figure out some voice coms and figure out your builds and learn to play better. And carry the bad pugs. You will then progress.
Sorry there is no other way.

Would only be true if class balance was perfect, there was no RNG, ANET’s own algorithms don’t intentionaly make a team win or fail, we didn’t give new players average MMR, and people didn’t solo Q.

You had home got wiped at mid so the warrior wen’t far and capped far. Multiple times the warrior not only decaps far but caps. it. Your mistake is you keep going mid when you have home and far why? What you should of been doing is going far since you own it and holding far and home to break up thier zerg allowing your team 2 caps and the enemy 1.
You could of them capped mid at a later time while holding home. Terrible rotations and you engage in out numbered fights when your team consisting of a thief and a warrior cannont deal with the AOE pressure of mid so chose to play sides.
Playing sides is a alternative strat to when your group cant point fight due to AOE pressure.
Most newer players have no clue how to rotate and play sides they only think go to mid and tunnel vision on it as if it is worth more points than far or home. You hold 2 points it doesn’t matter what 2 it is.
But like other people said if you wipe an enemy team you don’t go far because that is their spawn, The only time you go far is when there is no one there, and no one going there.

Hoelbrak + dogged march doesn’t reduce all condis by 53% It reduces all condis by 20% and chill by 53%. Immobilize and Cripple don’t do damage so one of them u can remove with warrior sprint… You are really doing this for the – chill. It is really good. But it is not better than what I suggested for fighting Chillomancers.

Most the necros are running something like Curses, Soul Reaping, and reaper…And unless they are traiting lingering curse which only effects scepters the only condi duration increases they are getting from traits is 20% chill and 20% bleeding from reaper spec. Also Chill is a majority of their damage not other condis.
Most of the reapers are only running chill duration runes. Reaper+Wanderer Amulet + Grenth Runes is 87% Chill Duration. 57% bleed Duration all other duration are base.
The Svarnir kittentail Nulifies Reaper spec down to base chill damage And you get like 50% bleeding to deal with not a big deal.
A hoelbrak set up You still are taking 30% Chill duration and 30% Bleeding. Hoelbrak is really good but its not as OP as svarnir for fighting the grenth rune, reaper spec.
That being said I would still use hoelbrak if the enemy team only has like 1 reaper. But if they have like 3 reapers you are better off with svarnir.

I know right why start bad players off with average MMR. When last season forced most of the decent players into 50/50 or not much better 60/50 win lose ratios.
