I am not an expert on builds and such,but my Ranger plays a more defensive role and can get overwhelmed with a hard charging enemy.

My Necro can suck up everything the enemy throws at it,and spread pain over many, many targets in large group play.

I am not on the Deso inner circle.All I can say is most of the familiar names I used to see and their guilds are not there anymore.We have a lot of peeps running around not even in guilds now.

Stop picking Desolation to win,it is making me nervous.

Good=There is a lot of squishy fish to eat out there.When you can actually get on.

From what I have seen Deso was swamped by PVE players the first 3 days. Us regulars who did need leave have found their feet and adapted to what we have left.

Abaddon can blob around BL maps 2 to 3 times our number.The problem is when you do that,you cannot cover all your bases at once.

Silver is a lot of fun and the queues are dying down now.

Like I do in anything I do in GW2,if I unlock an achievement then it is an afterthought.

I play WvW to kill other players and capture,defend buildings.

At least most of the achievements are pointing new players in the right direction,by playing objectives.

Possible thing is that there is a big group of achivement hunters and you did not fiind them on map.

We had about 30 players on an enemy BL map yesterday.I followed a group of 20 up to the JP.I thought they were going to take north camp.I ported back to spawn in disgust.

I was invited to an enemy party,took me a minute to realize I was talking to the other side. They were upset about being killed.

Desolation Silver EU.Could not get on for first 3 days.Now there is a 15 minute wait to find a spot on an enemy BL map during peak.Off peak we have a total of 10-20 players total running around enemy bl maps.

Get my Necro to eat 10 curries.Run into the middle of the blob and release Plague Wind.

Probably players launched by all the warrior hammers.

We were just about to run in through Hills inner gate on Gandara BL map.The 3 minute warning was a lie, as we were instantly kicked.

Kills is also related to what server you are on.If you are getting crushed,you will not get as many kills as the server that is doing the crushing.

My highest ranked alt is a Necro 162 . Have 16k + kills.

Day 2 of playing my warrior alt in WvW.I was still killing players after I dozed off and my head fell on the keyboard.May go back to my Necro soon.

I have a WvW rank 150 Necro,and a rank 90 Engineer.I am running my rank 9 Warrior at the moment.And watch the squishy fishy, fall to the hammer dishy.

Good to see Desolation doing well even though I cannot actually get in to help out.

We could have done with that new overflow WvW map for the start of Season 1. 1 hour wait for Desolation so far.And that is trying to get into Abaddon BL.

Deso lost another Guild according to map chat. It is getting to the point you cannot be friends with the person standing next to you.Because next week they will be smashing a hammer over your skull.

Tonight on home BL we were a rag tag outfit chasing our own tail. With only the Garrison as refuge.A bunch of randoms going against an organized enemy guild.we could only watch from the walls.

So who knows,we are leaking guilds pretty quickly.

I do not consider myself a good PvP player,I play MMO’s like I would Skyrim. I do not look at builds,I slap on what I like,and if it works it works,if it doesn’t I change it up.I find it more interesting that way.

Have not played WvW since Bloodlust was brought in.Anyhow.I took my Engineer in last night.He could solo a camp in a few minutes.He almost died trying twice with another player taking a camp.He had 3 player kills and 3 deaths.

I took my hardly used WvW level 80 Warrior in, and had 47 kills and 3 deaths and got my WvW monthly in one session.The 3 deaths were just me going berserker into a crowd of enemies in a no win situation for the giggles.

I stood at an inner gate of SM hammering, with Gandara dropping hell on my head,and didn’t blink an eyelid.It almost felt like I was cheating.

Thought I’d see what was going on,my first WvW since Bloodlust was brought in.Took my [cough…cough] unused Warrior into Eternal.And was very impressed by what I saw.

Very impressed.

Hopefully the EU Silver League will be renamed to the “No Skill Lag league.”

Thanks for the update on Deso,that is a body blow. I guess it’s CF who dropped out of CS,one of the best commanders Deso had imho. To all those Commanders who have moved on with their guilds.It was the best of times.All the best.

I have not been on WvW since the last major patch for WvW.And it seems the same for the whole Deso server.

Is it true DVG left? If so that was the heart that pumped our blood all week long.Never saw CS for weeks before that.Did FG move again?

Funny that Deso is now only a few ranks above Gunnars Hold. That was a dead server when I played there but seems to have pulled its socks up.

I am knee deep in wigs. We should be able to sell them to the Quaggans.They need them in the worst possible way.

Have not played WvW since last patch,and I don’t think Deso has either.Remember we were rank 3, weeks ago. Now…

I am one of those people if I do not like what I am eating,I will stop eating it.

I do not like the buff if I am smashing the enemy,or being smashed by the enemy.It is cheap and unneeded.

Desolation was EU ranked 3rd for a short time.Now they are ticking with 55 points.Worse than the baddest of bad days.

I think Deso has said to WvW “smell you later.”

I have adapted.

I did not play WvW for the first time in a long time.

It is funny, I went from the new lag in wvw which I could only take 10 minutes of, to the huge Tequati fight with no lag.And my camera even glitched out and zoomed out further for an awesome view of that battle with no problems.

I think wvw is a cluster kitten right now and not an enjoyable or smooth experience for me at least.It is almost like they are pushing me away from what I enjoyed the most.

SFR are in a league of their own right now.I don’t think deso aren even bothering,or have given up on WvW the numbers I have seen the last few weeks.

No stat bonus.We have enough buffs as it is.

Look at the matches now.What is the most logically thing to do,make the strong stronger not.Way to kitten off the weaker servers even more.

If you are going to worry how the enemy is equipped in WvW you will never leave your own Citadel.

I see more commander tags in Deso Lion Arch than all of the maps of WvW these days.

Autorun,stop to cap,autorun etc etc,that’s all WvW was yesterday.We had 10 patrolling Deso BL’s today everything under control.And our zerg beamed in from somewhere and took over what was left.I actually felt hostility towards it.

Risiko a tip,if you do go into WvW,that full set of berserker gear will not help you much,and you will melt in 5 seconds.You will need to do some research for a different build that will keep you upright for longer.

I think it would be a great idea.Anything that breaks repetition is a great idea, if done correctly and balanced.

There is something very special building at Desolation WvW. We have pulled out of the darkness of frustration.We always put up a good fight even in defeat.

DVG have some great commanders to run behind.And it is a pleasure to do so.

Currently biting at the heels of Elona for 3rd.But need stronger coverage on all maps to get close to Vizunah and Seafarers.

Even when neck deep in kittens we try to have a laugh.

The new blue is annoying as heck on the eye,the red is like an angry spot that needs squeezing.

Go the whole hog and make commander tags pink. The map looks like a fruit cake now.

When I first saw what our Deso blue had become I thought it was some kind of joke.

I asked in map chap if commander tags were now pink.

I have tried MMO’s that just went F2P or new F2P. GW2 is like a cozy bed I want to come back to. I have now given up dipping my toes in other worlds.Unless something comes along that knocks all our socks off.

Until then my 6 alts will be doing their own thing here.
