If you are involved in events with a # of other players, the mob levels will scale up even if you are in a level-appropriate zone. In these cases, kiting and dodging will serve you well. And if by hunter you mean Ranger, sic your pet on them to hold aggro, and attack from range only (with bow or axe).

When the Pact controls any of the Orrian temples, as well as any of the various locations that can be contested such as Wren, Brassclaw Landing or the entrance to Arah, karma merchants spawn that sell high level gear (along with other support services like regular merchants and armor repairers). Each of these areas has a different event (in the case of minor locations like the Eastern Colonnade) or event chain (for Arah and the Five Temples) that must be completed to gain Pact control of the area. For example, to take the Melandru temple (Cathedral of Verdance), you have to start the event chain over by Gavbeorn’s Landing in Winterknell Shore to escort Magister Izzmar (sp) to the first beacon site, which eventually leads to taking the Temple.

ETA: The Five Temples (and perhaps Arah, I’m not sure) have karma merchants that sell the exotic armor – save up since they cost 42000 karma per armor piece.

ETA: Pay attention to the Meta text in the event area of your UI – it tells you the status of any world events such as capturing of Temples, and the Temples also have icons indicating whether they are in Pact or Risen hands. The waypoints also indicate this (whether they are contested or not).

You don’t lose the armor, but it changes to the status of “transmuted” and just has the guild logo on it, similar to PVP armor.

You can stash your pet also if you want to hide it for some reason (such as doing jumping puzzles, taking screen shots, etc.) by clicking the button with the down arrow on it in the pet control area. Be aware that zoning, being attacked, or falling (or some other things possibly) will cause your pet to respawn automatically.

Assuming that it works the same as Weaponsmithing, you can advance in Armorsmithing past 390 using tier 5 components (300-350) by purchasing karma recipes from the Master Armorsmith – they require more ingredients but will still level you up and allow you to make rare armor pieces.

Dust is not in any of the original Armorsmith recipes, but you can figure out uses for it via the discovery panel.

Norn Engineers can summon Owls and Wurms that are temporary. Human Engineers can summon Hounds of Baltazar (elite) that are temporary. Asura can summon pet golems (elite – temporary). Charr Engineers can summon other Charr (elite-temporary). Anyone with CE can summon a Mistfire Wolf (elite – temporary).

The signet bonuses appear in your effect area when in use (so you know for sure which are active) and can be very useful if you are playing solo- especially the regen and toughness signets.

I’ve played enough since launch that the various snippets of town and battle theme music are permanently stuck in my brain LOL

I did a search and did not see this topic in any other threads. Per the wiki update notes, “The Battle for Fort Trinity” had some issues that were resolved as of 9/4/2012 but I have been seeing the same issue for several days and it is still occurring as of last night. I have not had any other issues such as skipping story steps that others have reported, and the conversation about the Krait orb is relevant in my case since that is where I have progressed from in previous story missions.

Story objective: Speak with Trahearne. Once I walk up to Trahearne (after he finishes his conversation about the broken Asura Gates), this objective is checked off and the asterisk floating over him vanishes, but no further objective is given. I have run around the zone randomly trying to get it to trigger further objectives, without success.

Guild: Heroes of the Horn [HOTH] on Yak’s Bend

I had an issue along with several of my guildies where we could access the guild bank only from the overflow server (in my case, in Lion’s Arch) but not the main server.

Also, I used the Letter of Commendation (story reward from The Battle of Claw Island) while on the main server in Lion’s Arch, and I got credited in my community achievements on my hero panel but the influence did not get added to the guild.
