well if i dont click on a item the popular ones and go to it and just search or do a advanced search it just sits still and says its loading but eventually just locks up and never stops. so i always always have to open a item and then search. its really frustrating when your doing multiple searches and crafting at same time. then to have it lock up and have to close it and redo it all over agian. i didnt know if there was like a option or something that was creating it to fail at loading or something.
i have alot of MF on my warrior and it seems to me i have just as much luck when not wearing it to getting a rare then when i do wear it. the MF makes it so tons of blues drop but even then its still random with rares i have yet to get a exoitc off of a mob. anyways i think MF is a broken system sure i could sell all the blues i get and salavge the 2 rares in a 4hr grind but getting a ecto off the rares is well rare and usually its better to sell the rare and buy 1 ecto then cross your fingers an hope for more then 1 cause 40%of the time its none. then 4hrs is lost anyways yea i think the system on loot is bs they need to make it so more mf you get sure you get blues but have a better chance for rares and exotics.
Anyone else have a problem where instead of searching right off the bat you have to click a item on the first screen an then search. If i just got strait to seach the little search gold circle just spins and spins ans dosnt stop locking up the tp on me.
I need to get that elite unlocked still. Good idea yea i didn’t notice sword had a condition removal my bad. It must just be a tuff skill point. Thanks for yalls help.
cool deal thanks for the info ill have to give it a shot
right now im 2/10/10/0/0 and lvl 32 and im just getting owned by a lvl 29 skill point lol. i cant seem to do anything to it and it just bleeds me to death cause i dont have a condition removal. having a hard time killing other stuff as well i lvled a guardian warrior and ranger before this and this is by far the hardest class i have lvled. as far as being squishy and just not being able to stand up to anything im runing s/p and sb. any help or pointing something out to me to help me stay alive would be awesome thanks
So i have been lvling a thief and here is what i have noticed if try to melee at low lvls you get slaughtered. The short bow is the only viable weapon for lvling at lower lvls when u melee it requires you to stealth which resets mobs so their health regens. Its pretty tuff to do melee compared to my warrior or guardian an even my ranger. Anyways im not complaining cause once you get traits unlocked it becomes a better option to run daggers but at the beginning say 10-40ish i have noticed your way to squishy to melee. Thats just my opinion after lvling 3 other professions to 80.
Sorry guys i was mislead on axe offhand seems the final tick is the only dmg the axe actually does which is rather lame therefore makeing the mace a much better oh choice ill edit when i can get on a pc
Well guess i need to get my hands on a mace then haha the cc an vulnerabilty would be much better thats rather miss leading
Oh wow thats not per hit?? If thats the case its only purpose would be to stack vulnerability wich mace would do thats lame
(edited by Wobels.1679)
I’m sorry but axe 5 is sad when i can do more damage to multiple mobs using auto attack with axe main hand in the same amount of time.
People say this and i run axe axe an in the time 5 goes theres no way the auto attack does more i can get it hiting for 6k at the end thats almost as much as eviscrate
I use oh axe and love it the aoe dmg it does. I made a build for it on here check it out can face tank an still dish out high dps.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/AXE-AXE-warrior-build/first#post812727
i think number 5 is fine the dmg isnt great but its dmg and its fun number 4 needs some work its lacking big time i think they need to add a leap in with it as a gap closer that would totally make it usable and not mess with dmg
toughness sense you heal with shouts you can manage your hp with heals toughness will make it easier for you.
heres what i created for just a case.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/AXE-AXE-warrior-build/first#post812727
but i totally agree with oghier go with signets and run great sword for massive dmg stuff wont last long enuff to need survivability but at 60 sense you can open your last trait tier its time to focus on what you plan on using
i always have agro on my warrior even with support guardians i stack toughness and healing power though and usually run with shield so thats what im built for face tanking can do it anywhere and it works i like it personally. but yea they do go for the more toughness and healing power and shield classes over the all zerkers
So I was playing around and came up with this build. just putting it out there for others to see and maybe learn something i didnt know by other comments. I have a pve and a WvW version i dont spvp so dont plan on making one for it.
Axe/Axe off hand warhorn/shield/bow depending on situations
10 Str V Beserker’s Power
10 Arms V Rending Strikes
10 Defense II Turtle’s Defense
30 Tactics VI Empowered VII Lung Capacity XII Vigorous Shouts
10 Discipline V Heightened Focus
Utility skills: pve Healing signet for pvp only thing i change is heal Healing surge for burst heal. On my mark, For great justice, Shake it off.
Elite: pve Battle Standard, for wvw Signet of Rage
This is for pve I use clerics gear for the healing and knights jewlery for the percision both give power and toughness i use soldiers runes for condition removal. and Sigil of blood in both axe’s. usually run with shield as off hand so i can pop for great justice run into a group of mobs cyclone axe then whirling axe. that puts out alot of vulnerability stacks on everything. then i flip to shield bunker down with a block as most if not all mobs will be on you. so group can aoe everything down then once block is off flip back to axes and resume killing use shouts to midigate dmg if your overwhellmed just dodge roll out. it has great survivability try not to use your heal the reason its there is for the regen it provides, use shouts save shake it off for knock downs. if the mob dosnt knock down use it.
For WvW i use Lyssa’s gear it has a nice mix up of stats and the runes are nice as well. Jewlery i keep Knights jewlery same sigils of blood on axe’s. usually run axe/axe and bow sometimes horn depends if im runing around or attacking a gate.
The nice thing about this build is no real need to switch up traits you can run it as all around and be sucessfull in dungeons and wvw it has nice survivability priovides lots of support and great dmg and stacks vulnerability.
for pve it focuses on healing power, toughness, percision, power
for pvp it focuses on precision, healing power, vitality, toughness
Let me know what you think.
That would be cool
Yea an sense everquest is releasing new content for 80 bucks alot of people are pooking for sonething new so they will come over here but by the time they get to 80 they wont be able to do it an i know it scales you up but that dosnt give ypu traits or exotic stats so it really dosnt matter anyways im just saying its like putting in a gear score you cant run this unless you got this im not saying ill have a prob with it im in all exotics on 3 toons but new people will be turned off by it
So as the title says why? now i cant run it because no one wants somone that didnt get to play yesterday and is at difficulty 1…
Scroll,Karka shells, mystic coins, ? makes something anyone know what the last thing is?
well thats all fine and dandy the new ones will be bugged the old ones will be working but pointless since the loot will be under par to the new ones haha great..
yea im gona say banning bots did some but alot of people will horde mats when speculations come about of something going to change then they dump them as soon as they figure out whats going to raise and lower whats needed and what is going to be over stock.
0_o what? did you not read the rest of it?
use orrmaps.com look up your server its people making maps and look to see the ones with most likes and least updated times they are the newer versions they change with every build they put in.
Wobels:
If I understand you correct you built around power toughness and healing while getting Vit from shout traitline.
There are several questions:Going almost full healing how much healing you got ond how much healing does 1 shout in your current gear?
Is a max defense built much different? I mean do you survive hits you wouldnt have if you geared a mix of defense and offense? Can you facetank stoff much longer than you would in said mixed gear? And If so how great is the difference?
Ok So you are loosing health slower than without that Defense but you still loose it. Are shouts and healspell enough to keep you healthy?
What are you doing If you need burstdamage because stuff needs to die fast (like burrows in AC)
Does Eviscerate hits multiple targets or just one?
Please link your built. Id like to see it.
sorry took so long but i was sick. so here is a link to a post that i made about tanking and all my stuff about my build
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/Warriors-looking-for-dungeon-tank-support-builds/first#post718751
alot of your questions i cant honestly answer to the T cause im at work and not able to hop on and check it out but i have alot of healing im not sure how much.. anyways each shout is ruffly 1900hp? give or take i can face tank anything honestly when i run with the guild im the heavy tank all the rest are glass cannons. most of the time the mobs come to me cause i have more toughness and defense using shield. in ac instead of me bursting the mounds the group does it. i keep the stuff off him wile they burn the others then when they run by i grab agro from thier mobs and just hold them till they finish up. i have been with 2 tanks then i would switch to my other axe and do bursts on the mounds since power scales well with axes its decent dmg. there is a huge difference without all the toughness and healing i am glass cannon in magic find gear and im amazed at how fast i drop lol not used to it.
eviscrate is a single target only unfortunatly but that axe just auto attack is decent dmg and its very fast.
its totally support role no doubt your helping out other so instead of picking them up off the ground all the time with them being cannons. they can unload and in turn knocks stuff out quick. its all about managing shouts and knowing when to use stand your ground its the biggest life saver and shield block is amazing although the cooldowns on shields abilitys are long hopefully they fix that tomorrow but we will see.
to add to this running a tank with full dps group its alot less time you spend picking others up and wiping it saves time in the long run. alot less chaotic as well since all the mobs gravitate to you your team can practicly just aoe stuff down hense killing multiple targets faster then 1 target at a time cause they are so scattered chasing everyone. the 1shots will still get you thats just part of learning when to pop shake it off and block.
(edited by Wobels.1679)
yea its about 30% crit chance and no i see it proc all the time. no need for crazy precision it still procs.
Yea the only way i like to play is in your face smashing style i hate ranged.. anyways its a solid build i like it. Glad somone else backs it up
So i lvled a warrior i been runing shout healing and going to share some info to help others out in looking to do the same. if you want to coach me on some things i may have missed im always open to making the build better. as i said its for tanking/supporting
Axe/shield and Bow sigil of blood in axe sigil of life in shield and what ever you feel fits for the bow
Arms V rendering strikes
Defense II turtles defense IX Shield master XI Defy Pain
Tactics VI Empoered VII Lung capacity XII Vigourus shouts
Clerics gear power/toughness/healing power
Saphire jewlery power/toughness/healing power
5 Healing signet i know it does less healing but the regen is very very nice in the long run it heals more.
6-8 Shout on my mark, for great justice, shake it off
9 battle standard for raising allys that happen to fall
So thats it really i run with the axe cause it benefits best from power sense all the gear gives power it just makes sense does decent dps as well. the shield i love using it for interupts shield bash and of course for blocking when things get hairy. the bow is my range/aoe weapon it does decent for both cases just all around the gun is of course better for single target but i find i just like keeping the bow on an not worrying about aoe encounters either. just use your shouts smart dont spam them all the time save shake it off for those annoying knock downs use the other 2 for group healing or just more dps. it is a solid dungeon running build that supports by heals vulnerability stacking and interupts also being able to take a beating and rezzing downed players wile not losing dps.
so what alot of people will tell you is warriors dont tank as well as guardians, and they are wrong or are doing it wrong. i tank with no problems at all anyways shout heals is the way to go clerics gear and saphire jewlery if your going to tank i perfer axe/shield because the axe scales the best to power. sense there will be no condition dmg on the toughness/healing gear it makes sense not to use the sword. the mace is decent it was the one i was tossing off with but in the end i perfer axe more and the arms trait that gives chance of putting vulnerability on targets. that with number 2 axe skill stacks lots of vulnderability hense helping out your group with more dps. im not sure if you ment pvp or pve sense in pvp you dont really tank the targets go where they want to. in pve they tent to go for the meatest players not all the time but i ran ac last night an tanked 90%of the time with 3 other guardians in the group. if you can stay out of red circles and use ur healing shouts wise you will do great. i have a guardian and a warrior and i perfer my warrior over guardian for tanking dungeons i just have more fun and the dps with axe is nice.
i would do condition>precision>power then rest as follows jsut because you get precision from shouts and stuff warriors get alot of crit just from utilitys and as swords your going to be bleeding anyhow even without crits
but i hadnt done the math theres to many dif things to take in by just seeing your weapons traits and stuff make a huge dif in math.
so i see you like the shield i do too i originally wanted to do the same thing as you then i hit 80 and learned to not skimp the support it is vital specially when you got squishys with you that do loads of dps anyhow heres what i did
Arms V
Defense II IX XI
Tactics VI VIII XI
sense all gear gives power i run axe/shield the axe scales the best with power. i love shields so i will always use shields lol i also use a bow for aoe/ range its decent no condition dmg but it works and works well.
I use the shouts but not fear me cooldown is to long to make it practicle. I went with clerics gear for the healing shouts. right now im healing for 1800 each shot but im not done with my jewlery so it will prolly be around 2k per shout? i use sigil of blood on my axe to leech health and sigil of life on shield i thought about water but the splash heal dosnt do enuff to be effective as i had hoped and it dosnt heal you.. but anyways your usually always the tank with a shield. cause the agro table usually leans to whos got the most defense as shields give defense that means your it and they go by toughness to . anyways rethink your healing and support but as far as toughness goes as a warrior it is good cause we have a high hp pool already but dont skimp the healing for your party since war and guardians only 2 classes that can heal like that it makes it vital. also i run soldier runes so each shout removes conditions and its toughness and vit on the runes.
forgot to mention it but i use the arms tree for vulnerability i stack it even with low crit it still helps cause you get 20%crit from a shout and you get a 10stack from a shot but this way your supporting your group by opening the target up for thier dmg and your also healing them while doing decent dps with the axe its a solid dungeon build
(edited by Wobels.1679)
why do you want to make a legendary easy to obtain??? its legendary geeze people back in wow in vanilla if you had the hand of rag there was only a couple other people legendary is a legendary they arnt going to just give them away.. anyways as far as the spike in prices i like it maybe we will have more flow of gold later down the road right now its going to suck but eventually there will be more money to play with and repairs and waypoints wont seem like such a drag..
alrighty then we will see if it gets changed or not. and you dont have to believe me about me using great swords or not i personally dont care just telling you how it is
i fail to see how its a bug. considering the trait its self says it increases dmg per adrinalin when it is 1 attack that hits multiple times so it increases off of its self. avoid it ? its a huge animation you clearly see the warrior throw the sword you see it come at you dodge on its way back? problem solved you only get hit once on the outgoing so the dmg will be minimal if you stand there and wait for it it will hurt if it hits alot.. that being said all skills will hurt you if you dont activly move all you have to do is strafe and it wont follow you its not a heat seaking missle.
no dude… im good.. thanks though…
lol quickly like the rest of the game? im not crying i dont even use a gs in pvp i use a sword shield an bow.. so i could care less im just saying its not a bug. if its a bug it wouldnt work properly it could be considered over powered cause it does work properly but since it only happens under certian conditions i doubt it will be
it only increases like that when you hit 9 people in the necros case it hit his pets going out and him then coming back in it hit his pets them him last… which means it had greatest dmg on him.. his falt for having sooo many pets? i dunno but its built to increase so of course if it increases off a increase its going to boost up and double the more times it doubles the more effective the dmg is. its not a bug just a bad spot to be in if the warrior can actually get 9+ targets hit anyways if he can then you deserved to die anyways
Wow….
This comment says it all….
I don’t care if its hitting for 20k it’s that necros fault for using his utility skills!?!? Of course he deserves to die for using utility skills that he can’t control the placement of his own pets…. Definitely his fault…
I am so lost for words right now.
so are you saying its a bug beacuse it works the way its intended? maybe the necro shouldnt pop up all his pets when he sees a gs warrior? i dont pop furry when somones about to unleash multiple hits that would be like killing your self.. same goes for the necro drop some pets if you go into it with a warrior if you have all of your pets up that allows you to get hit 9times by it maybe leave 1 on cooldown? an yea he gets killed for using all his utilitys just like if the warrior used his utility furry sure it boosts dmg just like the necros case all those pets boost dmg but at the same time it makes you take more dmg in the case of how the skill works it makes him take more dmg.
So i seen this on another post but it had the wrong name. any idea whats needed in the mysic forge for this axe?
sword shield and long bow condition dmg all the way defending or attacking a keep long bow breaking up a group of people long bow.. 1 on 1ing it sword shield gap closers and still condition it works well together
1-0 normal alt1-4 for f1-f4 scroll wheel = weapon swap i never cared for 11-12 so i dont use them my hands are to big an to bend my thumb in that far to hit them feels strange lol anyways
just go farm karma in a zerg in the straits of devestation.. get your karma gear run dungeons get another set of gear an along the way you will find the mats you can also convert the t 5 into t6 at the forge but dont make one piece at a time if your going for a full set do a box its cheaper
it only increases like that when you hit 9 people in the necros case it hit his pets going out and him then coming back in it hit his pets them him last… which means it had greatest dmg on him.. his falt for having sooo many pets? i dunno but its built to increase so of course if it increases off a increase its going to boost up and double the more times it doubles the more effective the dmg is. its not a bug just a bad spot to be in if the warrior can actually get 9+ targets hit anyways if he can then you deserved to die anyways
so i just hit 80 on my female human warrior i like the plate bikini but i look like a freakin barbarian with my helm and boots then mid section all exposed and spikes and straps kinda strange.. anyways im thinking more slicker smoother plate but keep the bikini? i mean its why i made a female anyways cause i got tired of looking at my male spiked karma guardian lol..
its not so much a bug its the way it intended to work. i mean it dosnt say its for one single target it could be multiple targets for all we know. but what you need in order for that to happen is everyone line up so it can hit multiple targets cause lets face it it dosnt really go that far.. and honestly sure on golems you can pull that off but in pvp if people are dumb enuff to stack on each other like that then they deserve to die like that..
I mean comon you had to hit 9 people before it jumped up that high.. realistically yea it could happen all the time highly doubtful
(edited by Wobels.1679)
I would do condition if you plan on doing range dmg. power if you plan on doing melee dmg.. but for dungeons playing a support with shout heals and healing gear would benefit more since warriors/guardians only 2 healers like that. or you could go power dont skimp on the toughness though and drop banners cause the regen banners are good and you can still do your high dps melee just dont skimp the toughness or your gona get dropped fast in melee.
na im using healing shouts full clerics gear an clerics jewlery just was seeing if the regens stack but im going to go condition removal since im focusing on such a support role just trying to help my guildies live longer so the condition removal is way better then the 30hp regen imo just if it was like 200 then i might think about it but its not worth it
oh nevermind its only a 30hp regen lol soldier is beter thanks for your help
sweet thanks any idea how much of a regen it is?
So question is say I go 6/6 doylak runes will the health regen stack with our healing signet? if not ill go soldier runes for the condition removal but runing 2 seperate regens would be nice if its possible?
