Bugs/ oddities with Eternity:
-Skills which threw Twilight/Sunrise use standard sword model
- The burst of darkness/light when drawing/equipping Twilight/Sunrise no longer occurs.
- Downed skills that threw Twilight/Sunrise are the defaults now
Added Note:
Would be neat if there was an effect for when the skin changes between cycles.
Example:
When it shifts from Twilight to Sunrise, the burst effect happens (even if stowed)
Same from Sunrise to Twilight.
That’s not likely ever to happen. The whole point of a lot of these skins was that they were available during the event only. It promoted the achievement farming during the event. To go and make them retroactively available is going to raise the ire of a lot players, even when it doesn’t really affect them.
I did not mean make them available again for new players, I meant if you have EARNED them in the past, you will have them UNLOCKED in your wardrobe.
Example:
I have the Achievement: “Boss Week” completed.
Attached to that title is a chest for: “Wings of the sunless”
Under my purposed idea, because I have “Boss Week” completed, the “Wings of the Sunless” will automatically be unlocked in my wardrobe, even if I do not have that skin anymore.
If that still confuses you let me know and ill try to clarify a bit more ^-^

Would rather see this as a modified fractal boss o__o
1 person per lane, when your lane is open you enter and kill the platform enemy.
Scale everything down, the plat form champions would be Elites.
The mobs would be normal – veterans and their population cut by 55-60%
If you fail you have to start that boss all over again
The following are skins that were unlock-able skins from achievements:
-Slickpack
-Wings of the Sunless
-Holographic Shattered Dragon Wing Cover
-Scarlets Veil Skin
-Gas Mask Skin
-Fused Gauntlets
-Fervid Censer
These can be unlocked retroactively in a couple of ways.
1) A check on character log in to see if the achievement track tied to that
skin is indeed completed. If so, the skins are added to their wardrobe
(2)Making the achievement chests for those skins to be opened again to re-acquire said skins.
These skins are not available on the trading post, nor could they be sold so in no way is this a direct threat to the elites wallets.
Example:

I have no idea who Agent Scips is, but (s)he is always pleasant to talk too on Fort Aspenwood. There is also a male & female I’m guessing a couple or very close friends that always run around with their tags on >_< they are so amusing when you run dungeons with them. I remember during flame and frost they were bickering back and forth over using short cuts in that dungeon. “You’re such a bad example!”
Raid on the Capricorn, It’s a fun little map with underwater combat and its own little neat features. Would be nice, if was finally added to Solo Arena, even if it meant swapping Sky hammer out for it….

*Marksmanship: Read the Wind: *Longbow and Harpoon Gun projectile velocity is increased by 100%.
Only somewhat promising thing for rangers… ill give it 1 month after release that anet nerfs this down to 10% increased projectile velocity with of course the obligated round of spirit nerfs (anyone else see that they managed to nerf it again?).
Skirmishing: Strider’s Defense – You have a 15% chance to block ranged attacks while in melee.
I really think anet is trying to make rangers into warriors with this o_o….
Wilderness Survival : Poison Master – Poison you apply deals 50% extra damage. Poison your pet’s first attack when they are swapped to.
Cool short bow skill 2 gets some love, and i guess if you try to use the new poison field from vipers nest this can be worth the investment face + palm
Nature Magic: Survival of the fittest – Remove two conditions and gain fury when using a survival skill.
Why would i want to invest in this when i can just cleanse it off my self with another skill? Signet of Renewal, Any of the healing skills, Spirit of Nature etc.
Beast Mastery: Invigorating Bond- Your pet heals in an area when executing command abilities (i.e. your F2 skill now heals in an area)
You mean pets can now survive long enough to cast their f2? It’s great you guys finally managed to pull someone away from guardian and warrior buffs to finally fix a mechanic that should have been fixed since beta, but that mechanic fix is not fast enough in most circumstances to justify this trait lol… pretty much a hail marry trait to where you switch pets and spam f2 and pray to dwayna your pet is alive long enough to get their f2 off to heal face + palm
sort of sad they didn’t apply this to short bows as well :/

Crafted Kudzu today (yayyyy)
There is one rather awkward thing about it that looks badly miss placed, the Bow String.
When you look at the image provided below, it does not connect to anything at all, it’s just a piece of string floating in mid air o_o The top portion isn’t even close to a petal or the kudzu at all … Could just move the string closer to the ends of the bow before the flowers blossom out, the string nocks are there at the top and bottom ^-^
King Adelbern uses the Fiery Dragon Sword Model
Mini King Adelbern uses the Icey Dragon Sword Model, GW2 known as Jormags Breath.
If this was intended then:
Jormag’s Breath does not have any particle effects or the flame when its sheathed
The weapon on players DOES have particle effect or the flame when its sheathed
^-^ please fix this, it is a very expensive, popular, and awesine mini to those of us who played Guild Wars 1 and remembered how awesome it was in that game.
I would worry that those Rangers that don’t do Fractals would feel left out. However i think this is a really interesting global reward idea so I will pass it on to the rewards team.

Could you expound a bit on why this is an issue for you? There are pets that are available in a limited frame of areas and different level ranges, just like some weapon skins only drop in certain areas. If the difference between, say, a Jade Spider and a Cave Spider was purely cosmetic, then you’re not talking about vertical progression at all. The guy that has the Jade version has no advantage over the guy with the Cave Spider. All that’s going on here is cosmetic changes, and perhaps some bragging rights.
I honestly don’t see a difference between things like area specific Ranger pets and Fractal skins. Likewise, if players want WvW armor, they need to go to WvW. Or the massive amount of varied PvE that people need for Ascended gear. Or locking Cultural T3 behind a gold wall. They all require playing in a certain area of the game for more than a passing moment. In fact, I’d suggest that these are exactly the kinds of rewards that work for Fractals. It benefits the players that run them with a cosmetic benefit, without an imbalance. I believe that’s an excellent way to get people interested in the content without forcing them there.
I promise I’m not trying to be contentious here.

I don’t think you are being contentious at all and you put forward a compelling argument. However we try where possible to seed core gameplay rewards across the game. It seems like we have a few inconsistencies in the live environment so I will discuss this paradigm with the rewards team.
This said Ranger pets have abilities and putting a unique pet in the fractals with say unique abilities could be a huge barrier to entry for some players and that is where my concern comes from. The fact is fractal skins do no change the way a player uses his character whereas a pet with unique abilities does.
I hope this provides some more insight.

Unless you plan on giving the fractal pets 5 stacks of Torment or 5 stacks of Agony, I don’t think it would be an issue. If you wanted to make it fair for everyone so no one has to enter fractals of the mists here are some ideas:
PVE:
(1) Earliest level you can tame = Personal Reward Level 5 (easy to obtain)
(2) Gem Store “Mist Menagerie”, under a guise that you’re funding further research
PVP:
(1) Automatically unlocked for pvp only, does not carry over to pve
(2) Requires a high enough rank to unlock (wolf/tiger/bear?)
WvW:
(1) Edge of the mists Menagerie, who ever controls it
(2) Stone Mist Castle Menagerie, who ever controls a fully upgraded SMC

What would you think about introducing special types of pets for Rangers within fractals, mostly as tamable rewards after the boss fight.
Examples:
Jade Maw – Once Jade Maw is defeated, a tamable Jade Crab spawns by the chest.
Molten Boss- Once the molten duo is defeated, a tamable Molten Hound spawns by the chest
Captain Mai Trin- Once she is defeated, a tamable Watchwork Moa spawns by the chest
Special ones:
Aquatic Ruins- If you get the Dolphin path, after killing the giant jelly fish, a tamable dolphin spawns by the chest.
Would give Rangers more pets that we have been asking for
Encourage more rangers to play fractals
Quite the difficult issue,
On one hand, you do have the case of irl issues, which is fine and I don’t think anyone with a brain or shred of dignity would be upset over….
But then you have the kitten players who just idle to grab the chest at the end….
I don’t think reporting is a good way to handle either….
Modest Proposal:
When a boss, rather it be World Boss, Living Story Boss, or whatever important boss spawns. Anyone who is within 1500 range of the boss has their idling timers lowered to 5 minutes. At the end of 5 minutes, if you do not deal damage you will be re-directed to your home instance. At the end of 7 minutes, a debuff will be placed on your character preventing you from opening that chest for that event. The curse will go away once the chest despawns.

This has been my go to class from the Betas, I have stuck by it from the good and bad times…. there are a couple of things that absolutely frustrate me when it comes to their short bow…. the lack of real use.
Suggestions:
Skill #2 Poison Volley
It is a very poor skill given the numerous other options that Ranger has at its disposal….
You are restricted to 900 range, the damage is 5x (405) with a very mild poison and a 7/14 second recharge…..
This weapon has no true natural aoe skill!! why not take advantage of this and juice it up a little?
Purposed change:
Shoots a volley of poisonous arrows within a targeted area.
Damage 5x (500)
Range: 900-950
Poison (2 1/2s): 800 Damage -33% Heal Effectiveness
30% Chance of inflicting one of the following on hit:
Torment: 2 stacks
Confusion: 1 stack
Blind: 1 stack
Bleed: 5 seconds
Mechanic: Target similar to marks/ Longbow Skill 5 “Barrage”
Physical damage hits up to 5 targets untraited
10 when traited? (would be a neat bonus to eagle eye to increase targets in aoe)
Crippling Shot:
Adding torment would be very appropriate for this skill, 2-3 stacks on hit?
Concussion Shot:
4 seconds of confusion (2 of those seconds would be void from daze and stun, keeping the 2 second theme with daze & stun).
I don’t think those changes are way to over powered…. if only one of those choices could be allowed I would hope that Skill 2 Poison Volley would be considered…..

What makes us different from other guilds?
We know how it feels to be screwed over by a general dictatorship.
We have two principal leaders, both of whom are opposites; one is male, the other is female. One is very dedicated to social and PvE aspects of the guild, while the other is very dedicated to community and guild activities.
Underneath those two are a couple of people who specialize in one aspect of Guild Wars 2. These 4 people are on the same level of power; however, they do not contradict the others aspects they are in charge of.
Under this system, each aspect of the game is able to be fairly represented within the guild without being shoved under the rug. We are able to properly cater to the needs of each aspect while progressing on other areas within the guild with out faltering.
We are proud members of Fort Aspenwood, this is our home and we have no desire to relocate. Anyone from any server is welcome to join; however, you will not be granted higher ranks without being on Fort Aspenwood.

I’m getting sick of when I joined 2 or 3 parties which I left afterward, I can’t join new parties for the like the next 10 minutes because ’I’ve joined to many parties’…
Either remove this weird cooldown, or show the levels of people in the party. Because msot people want to do their daily dungeons as fast as possible, and not with 3 lvl 30-something characters.
Seems like the system worked just fine…
If you are going to farm low level dungeons, you can’t be mad at other players for playing the game as intended… If they were meant to be level 80 only dungeons, they would all be set up like Arah…
However, I do agree it would be nice if they add the level under the profession icons.
But…. if they do that, then you will have everyone demanding the rights to see peoples armour, weapons, traits, pets, social security blah blah
Lets not give anet more motivation to delete Ranger by giving every class a Bow.

If you want unique/rare pets then play GW1 and unlock the Hall of Monuments. I don’t see that many rangers going around with a Black Moa or Black Widow.
Because Black Moa, Black Widow, White Raven are so horrible to use in PvX that you’d rather slit your own throat before you start a fight? It takes anet for ever to remember that they are pets and to get them on par with the other pets.
Why not do something Similar to Guild Wars 1 when it came to rare pets.
Example:
Holiday pets would be out in the wild, would only become available after you finished the meta quests/content to charm. (Jingle Bear/ Jingle Moa) tons of fun options for this to do….
For Exotic pets, why not make them based on your personal story and involvement in the living story. Example: Orrian Gorilla, would only become available after you finished the Zhaitan Story Arc. Tropical Birds would be come available for finishing rather SSC 1 or 2.
1. Footfalls:
- The Footfalls are very small and have a very short duration. Compared to other 2 Hand Legendaries (Longbow, 2H Sword) the footfalls are really small and disappear very fast. They last about 1 second while the flower-garden footfalls you get from using the Longbow stay for 5 or 6 seconds.
Dear ArenaNet, I would really like to know if all this is “by design” or if you might consider looking at some of the things i listed and maybe change them.
I know its a long list but i would really appreciate if you would at least take notice of some of these problems. (Especially the ones with the Engineer Kit interaction and the issues when sheathing the weapon)I know the Predator is not the only legendary that could use some love and it’s also not the most popular Legendary (probably because only 2 classes can use it and one of them is the least played class). But i bet there are more people who have noticed these things and want them fixed.

Problems with dreamer:
No Glow Aura when equipped at any point
Short Bow for Thief or Ranger just plain out sucks in comparison to other options….
Oh, Rangers only have two effects with this weapon, shoot 1 unicorn going —-—> or shoot 5 unicorns going —-—> in a cone fashion. Thieves Unicorns are Arched in movement.
Few Fractal Packs I thought about:
The Fall of the Divine Fractal Pack:
1) Fall of Dhuum
Each player would take on the aspect of a God, who ever opened, would be assigned Grenth by default. The objective would be to defeat Dhuums army and bide time for the 7 reapers to prepare the realm for Dhuum to be locked away in. A small battle against Dhuum, once he hits 25% he banished into the realm. Another event to where you have to protect Grenth (person who opened) to ascend into God Hood. (fight off the last of Dhuums army.) End of Fractal.
2) Fall of Abaddon
Enough has been said about this, more or less, how he was rejected from the Pantheon.
3) Boss Fractal: Kill Abaddon.
For this fractal, you replay the final mission of Guild Wars: Nightfall, you Must Destroy the God of Secrets. Added content: Must protect Kormir while she absorbs Abaddons powers.
Guild Wars 1 Fractal Packs:
1)Kill the Lich, If you finished Guild Wars 1 Prophecies, you remember this mission…
Factions:
2) Kill Shiro Tagachi, If you finished Guild Wars 1 Factions, you remember this mission..
3) Boss Fractal: Kill the Great Destroyer
Historic Fractal Pack:
1) Fall of Orr : Everyone in the party is an orrian human, who’s duty it is to protect the Vizer while he researches a way to protect the nation from the charr. The fractal ends with a cut scene of the spell being cast and the nation sinking, the players wake up on a shore with a chest to open.
2) The Norn Exodus: The telling of what happened and the spirits involved, could be rather fun to see the other spirits that players could not transform into. All players would be transformed into Norns.
3) Boss Fractal: Ascalon Academy
Follow Prince Rurik into the cave and kill the Grawl and Vatlaaw Doomtooth. Completing this will trigger the Searing which will show the destruction of Ascalon.
Vatlaaw Doomtooth, being the Charr would be the final boss.

In regards to auras. Dreamer is a 2 Handed short bow that does not have an aura.

Only issue i see with Dervish at the moment, is the lack of the gods willingness to answer prayers. Dervish in GW1, were based very heavily on prayers and Avatars.
On a positive note though, I am really hoping they find a way to make this class come back, as it is one of my favorites from gw1.

Couple of questions:
1) Will we ever be able to explore South Eastern Portions of Orr
2) Will we ever see some portions of Orr “return to normal” after the “defeat of zhaitan”
A) If so, will it be an update new and old players are forced to see, or will it be like GW1 Ascalon, to where once you beat a certain quest/mission you are transported to the new version and you can not go back (exception added for gw2, unless you’re in a party with a person who has not finished the Zhaitan Story )
3) Why not add the other God Temples as events?( Dhuum, and Abaddon )
I some how feel this is based on this weeks match….
To make story mode more appealing to re-run, why not add an exclusive miniature for each one? Exotic rarity and what not, may only drop from the boss & the final dungeon chest. (2 chances per run)

It’s really bad that some people in FA have to result to Spying to track our movements and activities on maps. <—- Not trolling, not BSing. We have had spies from FA in SBI Teamspeak and our own Teamspeak tonight. But, there is not much around it. Sucks that the few FA that are doing it to get an upper hand at whatever situation. Hope you FA’s out there can get a grip on those people, doubt you can but do your best. If this is happening to us, I’m pretty sure it has or will happen to other servers.
