i repeat, u guys dont have humor, and behave the same way as the op , kind of.
first off, i am gonna say it here, pu just gives more defence to the player, doesnt give any offence at all, most players out there think that pu is overpowered cause they deal ‘insane dmg’ while beeing tanky, this is wrong.
pu itself just gives awesome defence capabilitys.
so , despite saying that, its a really awesome trait, i think its one of best traits in game if not best..
everyone is calling out nerfs, and they r right, with changes i meant nerfs, but not nerfing it to ground, here are a few ideas:
we could make it so that it only gives one boon each time u go into stealth, boons durations of those current boons get a 2x longer duration tho, would mean that if u would currently get protection (idk how much the protection currently lasts in one tick) the duration would be doubled , but u would only get one tick of it, u wont get any other during the duration of that stealth (same as regen or aegis, if u get aegis it would be bad luck for u tho :P)
make the boons only apply once every two seconds, meaning in a 3 second stealth u would only get one tick(veil),in a 4 second stealth (decoy /prestige i think? the torch skill 4) u would get 2 ticks, on mass invi u would get 3 ticks, ofc if u dont get outta stealth before
dont make it making ur stealths last 1 sec more, so that u would still get booons etc, but ur stealth stays same
be creative, dont hate on me, admit that prismatic understanding is the best trait in terms of defence

those sets r used for shatter or condi by several ppl. tho i cant post a build yet due to me hating scepter, i even play my condi spec with sword mainhand

guardian focus during stomp, arcan shield during stomp, guard teleport medi during stomp, mesmer chaosstorm aegis gain during stomp, ele lightning flash to blinking thiefs during stomp, engi smoke field bomb thingy stomp, etc
oh wait, lets just make it so that u cant kill ppl huh? and what about rezzers? we should be able to cc them during rezzing if they can cc during stomp. pls thats not a bug.
And note that Thieves cannot use Steal (F1) or it will break stomp, because it isn’t a utility skill, it wasn’t purposefully picked, it has no drawbacks/trade off since every thief has it by default.
This is false, I use Steal to stomp other thieves all the time in WvW.

Elementalist tornadoCannot freely be turned on at any point during the stomp channelling (at 20% done or at 80% done etc). So being able to use it at the same time as starting a stomp is a bug that needs to be fixed.
Mesmer Phase Retreat can be used at any point during the stomp.
Please educate yourself about game mechanics before speaking about them. Misinformation like this being spread as fact is the reason so many people struggle to learn the game or come up with opinions based on completely incorrect assumptions.

so u shouldnt have added first 2 fights, in first ranger just ran parallel to u and took all the dmg, on second the war or whatever that guy was , was outnumbered

with all the stealth and teleports we got. u can outrun a lot of stuff w phace retreat alone…
if u go on saying that thief has higher teleports, thiefs r well known for awesome mobility. so dont go on saying smth about that
buffing blink would also make it a must have utilitys(it actually is right now but it would make it to an extreme) , is that bad? not directly but it crushes the build diversity.

just came back to mesmer after months to see that leap blink etc doesnt bug so often anymore, and testing new traits atm, btw the chaos shatter trait is awesome if u got 4 pts in first line, fury+a lot stacks vuln. on target, then just burst em down in one go
not sure , but did anyone notice that the torment by it in describtion is kind of bugged or the trait itself is bugged?

did a fast ac p3 run today, after killing the last boss the ele left too early (idk if its cause of that) and we didnt get the second bonus chest, on screenshot u can see there is no ’leave instance button ’ either, just reporting cause idk if its happening often or not
If the stealth on a 240 seconds cd elite is your deciding factor then I would have to say that asuras beat norns fairly easy.

so, i got several lvl 80 chars at lvl 80 alrdy, but i feel like having a guard atm but i cant decide, shall i make it asura or norn.
so the reason i would like to make it asura is that asuras got an advantage w skill animations, ppl cant see the full range of hits etc, and ofc there is the hard to read animations, and we r roaming mostly as a 3 man asura team , wich is pretty funny, w 3 quaggan heads and similar looks ofc
so as for norn, the only thing wich rly seems to be appealing is the stealth elite, idk wich form it is, i dont know if its instant cast etc, anyway if any of u got norn guards , tell me if the stealth elite is worth making a norn for:p

We ALL complain about the fact that beeing the squichiest class, we have to spec defensively and that then we can’t deal reasonable damage. With THIS stupid side of view, how do you want the ele to be able to balance offense and defense ? It’s impossible cause with this you split defense and offense.There already was burning fire and they added blinding ashes which is a little underpowered but a trait that goes in the right direction. I hope we’ll se more trait like that.
But on the other side, they put stone hearth (100% underpowered by the way) in earth, in a RP point of view, i understand why, but still, this is the bad direction ^^Fire while beeing the power line begin to get nice defensive trait. So to answer your question, they didnt say anithing, but, it seems that they begin to followe what i quoted (or maybe it just total random XD)

While writting, i had an idea for water: a trait that chill opponent on something like “critical hit incoming”. But have to beeing hitted is often a bad idea for ele. So i think to “on heal” (not only utility heal, but every skill that provide heal) but with the amount of heal skill that we got, this could be OP.
Water has a few “dps trait” but all in adept, water need a few in higher tier.
getting hit is not the problem, u will always get hit somehow… on hit procs would be bad if it would be like : each time ur enemy hits u, u apply vulnerability, yes we get hit but, the problem is we wont get hit often due to us playing defencively mostly, so on hit effects with an ICD is not bad, but thenew trait has an ICD of 10 sec and its global not per attunement. thats way too long
so , traits like shrapnel , etc (idk if there is smth else) r only for grenades or do they count for bombs as well? cant check due to wiki beeing down.
actually, i dont know about 100blades but, on most skills they continue to follow unless u tap anything else even when they stealth, so if what u say is right and 100 b stops casting when in stealth, thats just one of the few or the only spell that stops continueing

You’re right. Testing it in HotM gives me two launches. Very interesting! I tested the various durations and it seems to be very close to two attacks. If I active it immediately after an attack, it launches only once. But if I wait for 1 second after a regular attack, it launches twice.

well i am new to engi and asked for some build help, none helped so i made my own decap build:p it works extremely well and i had my own time to test stuff, then someone actually bumped the pve post and this helped even more, tho fractals as engineer is so much work, w the reflect turrets , used the 6/2/6/0/0 build:p
anyway thumper turret is my fav turret , i even use it in my roaming build:p
overcharging means that it is doing the effect for x amount of time
no, it has an overcharged duration, idk how long but, i always get 2 kockbacks w the overcharge off, ofc only once if duration wears off
i am using thumper turret, it knockbacks 2 times when overcharged and once destroyed, only the cd is bugging me but its fine considering those r 3 aoe knockbacks in one utility:p
and here with kodan armour buff, its not cause of the buff as i said
not sure if someone else posted this, but the eyes of asuras turn into a rly weird colour in eotm, not always tho, first i thought its when u got kodans armour from forge (the10%buff) but it wasnt the case, it just happened to me when i roamed for some time, my violet/purple eyes turned into a creepy red, i first noticed when my friend called out for it for how creepy my asura actually looks

didnt read all the comments but, staff does NOT need buffs, its fine as it is, only thing it needs is that phace retreat doesnt get u into walls etc, rly annoying if it happens in pvp, thats all.

well necros and mesmer dont have rly great acess to stability either, i find it ok since every proffession should need counters (dont go on me and tell that warrior doesnt have counters, warrior is a broken class and needs to be fixed, i dont count the 7% heal sig eduction as fix) engi is rly vulnerable to cc but its fine like that rly
but rocket boots need to be a stunbreaker:p

engineer is a rly fun class, i like it as much as i do my ele! , just too bad there arent any guides stickied here..

so, i see all the teams getting 1 missing player sometimes, then in those teams most players just start going afk right at start and are like: oh one missing player, we lost anyway, see u in the next match’ they get 5-15 points for rewards then go afk on spot.
u CAN win 4v5 fights , so stop doing that.
yes ik, the chances of winning are very slim. but still, its possible if u have the luck of enemys beeing newbys (in this case they were pretty good actually, the thiefs in my team were awesome)
^ this all for spvp btw, for tpvp u always got the option to get ur own team
btw looking for a pvp guild!, i might not represent often but when i need teams i will just represent and ask if someone feels like pvping, just gonna say, i am not that good of a pvper

staff zerk ele dies right away anyway if targetted, idk wich deals more dmg but i am more comfortable w this due to the other one requiring 90% more hp and 600 range of ur target wich isnt that good in the snow map when u r high above at middle nuking stuff :p
and as nuker ele u mostly camp fire , u wont attunement switch much as full zerker, maybe some water fields, cc, then back to fire to pressure enemy and make em not ignore u, and when someone is after u, run, u wont have any chance:p instead the fire skills reduction u can take the downed font, w that spec it crits 3-4 k on non bunker ppl, + u hit 2-3 k w ur auto atk, its pretty op

it is fine as it is. leave it at that. dagger mainhand is and always been awesome (not talking about auto atks besides air)
what rly needs changes is scepter fire auto , scepter water skill 2, those 2 skills rly need changes.
