yep, was bugged on my ele, got it on my thief. Also just a side note, you can use the same keys on a different bl jp. So say you get the key parts in sapphire you can use them on emerald/garnet.

then just hope they dont bug out

yea not a fan of pistol skins personally, would like something more glowy, not crazy about plain skins

best bet is to make unique names, not names you see in games, movies, tv etc. I also had this problem in gw1/2, every character I made, had like 20 names, each taken, just decided to go unique to me, and never had a problem since.

aside from that, this has been a longstanding random bug, it happened to me over a year ago, so yea..lol I doubt its gonna get fixed anytime soon. Can either try making a new toon to complete it, or just wait a few days and retry it again. Good luck.

thats ok, you get upscaled for wvw, you can simply make a new character, go through the first mission and go right into a bl to do it

oh yea that rank privelage only applies to activation, it would def help if they made an option for guild accept option for leaders/officers so nobody misses out in these kinda situations. Although I can see potential abuse of such a feature.

Really… isn’t this pretty obvious that guilds should be able to control who can claim credit for EVERY mission type? Instead of letting random newbies foul it up for everyone else?

If you look at the rank tab icon you can set Mission controls for officers/guild leaders only. Also for some missions you can set it for only guildies with the activation marker, though I am not sure if that applies anymore since everyone can get credit.

the bl jp’s do bug out sometimes, I had this happen on the garnet one. Try doing it on a different toon

math is not my friend my apologies lol, yea also combining with slayer potions can add up to an additional 10% dmg per player as well

yea this was always a potential problem when I ran missions, it is very important to make sure everyone is in some kind of communication like TS, and you are stating precautions in guildchat not to interfere before starting missions, and while waiting. It can be a little more problematic now with megaservers where guildies can be thrown into seperate instances and accidently getting near a bounty while another guild is doing it will complete it for your guild, this has happened a couple times. Basically communication and information beforehand is very important.

Force and night sigils are popular for certain dungeon and fractal speed clear runs as many dungeons and fractal levels (not all) are set at night. With full zerker groups it adds extra 15% damage per player. Combined with 5 players thats an extra 75% damage output by the party.

just wanted to add this to help people out. When Exotic crafter is part of the daily, you can simply craft an exotic essence of luck to complete it, all it requires is having artificer on a character, dont even need to level the craft, and the proper amount of luck that adds up to 200. For example 4x masterwork essences of luck (50 luck each) can simply be combined to complete it. Have fun.

bet you wouldnt be complaining if your side was owning everything. As someone who has seen this more times then Id like to remember, on both winning and losing sides. These kind of matchups suck, theres no way around it. T2 essentially has 4 competing servers, and some recent double teaming came back on SoS to temporaily drop them to t3 and bring DB up to T2, so yea this will go on for awhile.

yea the only way around this is to choose a finisher and quick click the arrow icon back checking that it didnt revert to the default. Its annoying but the only way around it atm.

I dont mind the concept of the trait acquisition, it just really needs major tweaking. Too many bugged events that need to be changed, and seriously overgrown grub for a grandmaster trait seriously??? Nobody ever does that even when blue in EB. Wouldnt hurt if they made it account wide as well, or so you dont have to unlock all those many traits on each new toon. Maybe lower fees. Ehh its just a mess atm.

I honestly dont think it would have such a terrible effect in all honesty, this is simply using gear thats not used anymore by one toon on another, Im really focused on stats because of build changes, its kind of annoying going out to spend so much gold and mats to craft or buy gear with the same stats you already have on one toon thats unneeded that could be used on another. The thing is its not like people change builds everyday, we already have account bound gear, not just ascended like crafted back items. Idk I really do think it would help a lot of players avoid unneccesary hassle. I mean if you already own the gear, why cant you use it on your account.

If it hasn’t been said already, Soul binding is a gold/material sink. Ascended/Legendary gear can get away with Account bound b/c they are such huge gold/material sinks in and of themselves.

So let me get this straight, if you had gear on one toon you didnt need anymore because you changed builds and you could use that gear stats on another, you would rather waste gold and mats crafting/buying the same exact gear with the same exact stats for that toon??? Please explain the logic in that, if you like to grind nothing is stopping you, and removing soulbinding wouldnt stop you lol, heck go for it should they ever remove it. But I can bet you anything if they ever remove it you and every one else will see the benefit of being able to use gear YOU ALREADY OWN.
