No No NO, mounts in this game just do not belong. Mounts look stupid in most game, but I can see in some it can work. This game is just not made for mounts.

Only a few things annoy me with these new fights, the width of these enemies seem to be wider than they seem to be on screen. Even when I am clearly not in their way they still hit me. And those torment spamming mofos are much much easier with a ranged char like always. In big fights you can cary as much condition removal as you can carry it makes no difference, the second you remove them they are reaplied :/

There is nothing easy about gold and silver. Stupid is more like it.

I just started last weekend again too. Went to the new area, silver wastes. Within 5 seconds, my pet needs help.. And I thought o yeah that again
I have no idea why they just dont make it invulnarable in PvE, it does not do a lot of damage to be against that I think.

Again a thread about expansions… haven’t you heard? They don’t reveal any information about upcoming releases so we will get the expansion announcement a week before it’s released :P

Anet: “GW2 expansion coming next week!”

I personally would not mind in the least if they did this.

“Nintendo style.” Anet announced GW2 five years before it was released… we’ll get the expansion announcement five months (or five weeks) before it’s released. :p

it really would be horrible if they did do that. that would mean they are going to release a very poorly marketed expansion, also not taking advantage of the anticipation to fuel sales/player numbers leading up to said expansion.

I suppose in theory one might get some sort of viral surprise reaction, but i doubt it can make up for the aforementioned losses of oppourtunity

5 months is enough for this, after a while the hype always goes away. A few years upfront is just annoying and old fashioned.

We did wait for each of those… and each of those games showed a 5-10% drop for GW2. GW2 can only handle so many 5-10% drops before there is no one left to drop…

Look at how much new content they’ve created in two years. Do you really think they are even capable of creating enough new content for an expansion pack? (The answer is no.)

Small team is working on LS, big team is working on bigger content. Just a guess of course but I would not be surprised if an expansion is closer than we think.

It’s theorized that something could happen after we defeated them in a new patch. Perhaps a next big boss fight

Except, you know, Abaddon basically made the Realm of Torment his kitten. Yes he was still trapped at the heart of the realm of torment, but his influence started turning it into his own world, all the while still plotting Nightfall and figuring out a way to get back into the mortal realm.

Yeah I mean that he did that to the realm, that is not exactly a sign of sanity is it The whole place just screams, someone went nuts here!!!

It does. There are still one or two organized maps advertising in LFG, every so often. Although, at any given time, I’m seeing more chest farming maps than organized ones.

Two things need to happen:
1) Chest farm nerfed by limiting availability or tying rewards to the overall activity of the map, not just Amber.
2) Reward for meta events buffed, and overall mechanics need to be changed to give more incentive to defend.

Organized maps are amazingly fun and gets to the Breach a lot quicker if everyone is on the same page. The boss fights themselves are easier if everyone understands the mechanics. I’m glad there are still some people interested in doing an organized run of the meta events, as the content is a lot more engaging (despite the lower reward).

Mine just says looking for taxi on all lines. :/ I thought it would be more usefull than that.

Armor skins of the 6 gods (especially the 3-faced helmet that the avatar of lyssa wears)
Abaddon/margonite themed armor (would LOVE a helmet that has those 6 glowing purple eyes that Abaddon has. OMG I would literally die from excitement)
Replace the current tormented shield skin (which is really small and insignificant) with the GW1 version – it looked SOOOOO much better

I will spent my money on those items if they are done well.

The marionette lane fights I found pretty fun to do. I would not mind another. But with less lanes, and if this is part of a boss fight it looks like it will have less

On rare occasions I have also seen a legendary spawn, just as the previous one was killed, which was bizarre.

I saw that mutiple times, one legendarie kept on spawning at the same location 3 times on a row on sunday at red.

It’s also because the chests are on a specific place. Make them more random, all over the map, and people stop camping spots?
But the shovels and the keys/chest are pretty good addition to the game I think.

I doubt it. It would be pretty easy to explain how a god isn’t completely dead.

Not when both the physical and magical part of said deity are absolved. The physical died and the magical was absorbed by kormir. There is no more abaddon and it will stay like this.

What can happen is that we learn more about what happened when the gods, and especially Abaddon, released magic back into the world, a story of how/why/what happened, that might give us a view on the relation between the gods and the elder dragons or the consequenses of said choice.

But abaddon is most certainly not returning. A retcon of that nature would pretty much bash in all the lore that has been established and i don’t see that happening.

She could become more abaddon like perhaps. After all isnt she still preciding in the realm of torment? I am note a lore freak, but how did abaddon get his powers again? From and old godlike source?

If you had it unlocked on a character a year ago, that character will only have to buy/hunt for the 5 new traits each profession got in April.

Well it brought me back from my almost 1 year of not playing. Besides some minor things I was not amused about(last boss bugging out on me) I found the whole gw1 reference and lore to be jut what I wanted. I loved gw1 and I hoped gw2 would continue on the lore, and if they continue this path I would be a happy man.

It was not challenge, it was annoying to say the least. For me it bugged out, and it stopped spawning the crystal thingies. :/

I love Kas and Jory, but they’re not exactly breaking the mold. I think conventionally attractive women in a lesbian relationship is a lot easier for most people to accept. However, what I personally would love to see is a gay male relationship in the spotlight, where neither party is a stereotype, i.e. where neither of them is expected to play ‘the woman.’ or act flamboyantly. I’d also ideally like them to be human, because I find that other species don’t really ‘count’ to the average person.

Good job Anet on inclusion so far, just another hopeful suggestion from a queer player who is desperate to see gay men in an actual romance, as opposed to portrayed negatively or in a way that’s oriented around sex.

I don’t get where the tormented weapons fit in. Of course them being behind the gemstore mechanic doesnt help either. For me it makes no sense to have them thrown in the game with this patch.

They do. If in case that an event fails but mobs still generate, then deliberately failing that event to keep farming the mobs is considered an exploit and users can get banned for this.

I’ve heard the same thing but I do not consider this true unless an Anet official says it is so. IMO there seems nothing wrong in failing an event on purpose.
