I have runes of the pack right now:

(1): +25 Power
(2): +10% Swiftness Duration
(3): +50 Power
(4): 25% chance when struck to grant nearby allies Might, Fury, and Swiftness for 10s. (Cooldown: 20s)
(5): +100 Power
(6): +20% Swiftness Duration; +125 Precision
I like the power and precision for more crit and power.
(I am using signet of the locust for speed)

I want to change the runes and am thinking of superior runes of the traveler but have 2nd thoughts because of the weak stats. Are there any other runes at all for powermancer (money is no problem at all), so please recommend any runes.

Mostly small group and solo (so about 60% small group and 40% solo) most if not all my game time is spent on wvw only.

I am currently running a full powermancer build for wvw I have zerker gear and use staff and d/d. I have been playing around with runes and am currently debating on whether to use superior rune of the pack power + precision or superior runes of the traveler.

I use centaur runes for my mesmer just for speed, but I don’t want to use up heal skill just to gain speed so I use endless mystery quaggan tonic and use the 6th skill (revert to normal) this is ok so far but my character is a massive norn with a gs and I keep on getting complains that it’s annoying having a gigantic norn suddenly pop on and off the screen (also annoying for me). I have tried to change the position of the heal skill when in quaggan form but it doesn’t let me, are there any endless transformation tonics (excluding any eotm transformations) that doesn’t have the revert to normal form skill located on the 6th skill slot?

PS: you make really good points I wish anet would implement them especially the sigil swapping, I would have at least thought that a “legendary” should be capable of doing that.

I understand where you are getting at but what is the point of crafting a legendary if you did not like its appearance, however apart from being able to change stats there isn’t much difference in comparison to an exotic weapon. I have 2 legendaries and I always stick to just one stat because it seems pointless to change all the time. I read on the forums earlier on (forgot link) that a person apparently transmutated a new look for the legendary and then accidently sold it to a vendor later on thinking it was junk (transmutating a legendary makes it become sellable without having to type in name I think) anyway because the person only noticed after a certain time anet could do nothingggggg……….

But saying all that I have been tempted to transmutate the volcanus look to twilight……..

Isn’t it time that anet decides to make accessories become visible, I know the amount of visibility will depend on size of character but just seeing what you have just equipped would be a nice touch. I know we will never get mounts but plz think about visible accessories anet.

Hello everyone basically a party of 5 including me were defending a supply camp (commander wanted to do it :P) we had 2 acs high up in a tower. So all ready, then a guardian and engi comes (only 2) builds a ballista in literally 3 seconds one shots both acs that were high up in the tower then believe it or not more or less the lone guardian one shots us all. I have mesmer with high toughness and 2100 health and staff defence trait. Also the other party members were 2 guardian, ranger and an ele. The commander then later told me that those 2 had been building acs and ballista without the need to resupply. Only 2 people.

I really should have taken a screenshots but I was completely taken back and forgot until party started to discuss the 2 people. Btw I am not a bad mesmer :P I normally never have too much problem with guardians. Infinte supplies and one hit acs and one hit attacks is it a hack???

Hello everyone I have been playing around with mesmer weapons and I want to know if gs and staff are good together. My mesmer is not my main and I am yet to know how to play it effectively but it is level 80. I have looked online and most people don’t seem to like gs and staff together but I like it as I can equip both my legendaries in both slots. Is there a good build for gs and staff for wvw and pvp. Any armor suggedtions would be good I have full berserkers and carrion+ valkyrie mix exotic.

You hit the thing right there. The reasons you stated for halting your quest for a legendary are pretty much exactly why I stopped trying to make one (that I would keep). I actually did the grind for Sunrise, just to see how long it would take. I almost uninstalled the game, I was soooo fed up with grinding. I ended up selling it because with that 2000g I received, I outfitted ALL my characters with many, many other things. It was a good decision.

Having a legendary will not make the game more fun. People will not “oooooh” and “aaaaahhh” over your shiny. No one cares, especially since any person with a credit card can buy the actual legendary. And ya, once you have what you wanted so bad… then what? Try to enjoy just playing. It’s so much better.

You sold your Sunrise for 2000 gold I would have paid you 3000 gold for it

Hello everyone I just wanted to ask, should I just buy bifrost from tp as I have enough gold now, or should I craft I only have gift of battle 1million karma and 1700 badges, but nothing apart from that no world completion (how long and boring is this process), please, give a sensible answer as I dont know what to do. Also I have no legendary at all. I am also a big fan of twilight gs should I buy that instead for mesmer?

Oh wow ok I would give a lot of money if the staff had the permanent effect, the bifrost doesn’t really suit my zojja inspired character. I know bolt and mjlorin has cool electric effect but can’t use on ele…… they should really use it as a staff effect

That would be a big money making source for anet I used to play mmo that had customisable weapon skin where the colour would be randomly chosen after cash purchase, the number of time and money I spent on weapon colour alone is phenomenal, because of my humongous vanity and never being able to decide on a favourite colour…….

Basically I don’t know what I did but I got the electric effect on the tip of the mistforged hero staff it stayed until I came out of edge of the mist. It was sooo cool and the lightning effect looked unique, also it stayed on even if I changed attunement and when the staff was put on the back, have any of you guys experienced this and if so do you know how it is done???

I have a level 80 necro with full dire gear and weapon + accessories are all condition damage orientated, but my condition damage without sigil of corruption or food is only 1339 however I have read post on this forum about necro with over 2000 condition damage what gear, runes, weapons are they using + best built for condition necro. I am using superior necro runes.

Also what gear and build is good for a power necromancer as I feel like a tank that doesn’t die but never kills in wvw…..

Hello I am trying to craft volcanus but I have no idea how much it will cost for mats or how to craft it I googled it and it came up with this calculator braveesperia.com GW2 Weapon Calculator v0.9.0. I do not know if the caluclator is true ("live takes into account current mats prices on tp) or not. I have 400 gold at the moment and even buying volcanus straight up from tp seems a big waste as the lowest is 455gold, went up from 412 gold from last month((((((((

I am in a bit of a crossroad with volcanus, I want it but I don’t know how to except tp (491 gold) I only have 112 gold atm. Please help I love this weapon should I just farm for gold to buy it outright(((
Also if farming where should I farm for most gold, I constantly do edge of the mist.

I have seen the executioner’s outfit on the gemstore and I want to know if I am able to battle normally with it on and keep all my gear stats. Or is it a skin?/ Costume (cannot do normal combat with it)????

So does this mean that my armor and weapon power does not count at all?

I think everyone with full zerk build will agree with me that the power nerf was disastrous. I mean I used to have 3500 power in my mesmer but now I only have freaking 2500 power, that will mean that someone will be able to kill me even more faster as I won’t be able to do enough damage to quickly kill them, so much for being a glass cannon.

I think the devs are trying to tell me to stop playing this game because it sure feels that way. QQ

I have no clue about specs but my sister has a laptop with these spec:

- Intel Core i3-3120M 2.5GHz- 4GB RAM + 1TB HDD- 15.6" LED + NVIDIA GT635- Webcam - Windows 8 64bit

Will she be able to play gw2 and what kind of fps will she get, and will gw2 be playable smoothly in medium setting.
