about time, the server mergers are….

don’t just look from the NA perspective. look also from the EU perspective. even for PvE, you don’t need 3 half-dead english speaking servers (or any other languages)…. merge them, save your electricity bills ANET, give players more people to play with…

if there is a season 2 they should make it shorter and make the achievements harder so that WvW players get more PvE player filling the outnumbered borderlands most of the time….

as for restorative mantras, i checked the healing occur when you finished channelling the mantras…

Are this combination bugged ?

Mending Purity = Remove a condition when you heal.
Restorative Mantras = Heal allies when you cast mantra.

From the wordings, i assume that if you trait both and cast a mantra while having a condition on you, the casting of mantra should remove the condition right, since it heals you… ?

or does it actually mean only heals by the mean of healing skills ?

comparing the flawed WvW (because of imbalance in numbers) to sports (which always field the same number on each side) is very stupid i think…

yeah..your side don’t need to win the capping of merc camp. you only need to participate in the capping event, means you only need to make 2 or 3 killing. not sure about just one killing coz last time i did with one it didn’t give me credit for event participation.

I was only 49 and stopped doing fractals a long time ago, don’t care about level reset. Not sure why those at 80 care as the whole point I assume was personal challenge and assured rewards. Surely by this point they had the rewards they wanted, and you can’t take away what they already accomplished so…

could ANET please make a way so that a guild can transfer their overflow merit to other guild.

my guild upgrades are at the max already and have no use for merits, and yet we keep getting them when we finish doing the guild mision every week. if there is a way to extract the guild merit in a form of banner/consumable, we can transfer those unused merit to help other guild unlock their upgrades.

my guild normally do guild bounty for commendation only, there for we usually not do the required target number, instead we only focus on one target. we usually research guild bounty tier 3 so that we have more options. we usually go for trillia midwell, bookworm or poobadoo if available…. the karka eaten guy is also not hard….

How is that any different than their point+rung system? Ever week you have a 5-8 rank spread in server matchups. T1 vs T3 pretty much every other week. With winner up loser down at least you have the weakest of the T1 facing the strongest of the T3.

Because the random system can be tweaked (the magnitude of the RNG rolls) to prevent frequent mismatches like what you described. WULD guarantees the mismatches.

You also exaggerate the randomness of the old system. JQ/BG/SoR was together the majority of the time, though TC’s placing as a dominant 4th screwed up the brackets below T1. Now TC has weakened over season 1 while top silver league servers have gained momentum, so the T2 and below matchups should no longer be as lopsided as they were before.

In any case the gap between the top 3 and any other server remains the biggest issue with matchmaking. Because there are 3 dominant servers in a 3-server matchup system, there is no possible way to have variety if balance is to be a consideration UNLESS you isolate the 3 outliers. The notion of 3 semi-balanced tiers in NA bracket is an impossibility, something ANY player in gold league can tell you. The top 3 servers have balanced themselves around playing each other, so let them continue to do so most of the time.

i usually have 2 sets for each character. whenever my characters wear the zerker set, i give them survival traits, so they balanced out….

so far no problem with survivability …..

i didn’t know there was a grace period of less than 2 weeks. shame really. if they (ANET) must put a grace period, make it 2 month. 2 weeks is just putting off potential customer like me. i’m holding from buying it for now. i’m not a hard core PvPer, but i like to PvP sometimes, and really love if i could just PvP with just my friends, but this… hmmmm….
