afaik the opening bags with low level char trick should only be done on “bags of gear” .

actually , you don’t have to follow commander around all the time to get that GoB. you can just get the 10% reward track bonus from guild hall tavern npc, accumulate the participation point to 195, consume the 50% reward track buff, and then cap the ruins at least every 4 minutes….. do that for 6 hours and your done with it.

hard mode ? of course you can.. don’t ever change your starting gear…. well, might just feel a little bit harder but not that hard really….

again, not getting extra reward for making it harder on yourself is a bit hard mode, really….

yeah.. i hope they revert back to include WvW for map completion….. missing those days…

how about WvW players feeling they are forced to do PVE map completion to be able to craft legendary ?

the original intention for EotM is for people who cannot get into WvW, but i think they forgot to put in place a condition that it should open only if all your WvW map are full. EotM has further reduced the WvW participation for the world with already low WvW population.

close EotM OR open it only if all 4 WvW maps are full, let people k-train in WvW map if they wish to, and WvW will be merry again. the fight guild will have more people to kill, isn’t that what they wish for?

i always see few in Kessex Hill , at the toxic plant location because i always go there when i do my Krytan forager.

it is called Legendary for a reason. not meant for people expecting it to be obtained easily if you want to craft it.

grind in game or grind real life, whichever suits you….

if you’re using 32-bit client, switch to 64-bit…. i was experiencing the same problem when using 32-bit client, stuck at the last file…. i switched to 64-bit client, no problem…

they are most likely using mouse with multiple buttons. you may also have to rebind your key. skill with aoe can be tricky at first but you’ll get used to it after a while.

to level up a mastery you need 2 things : the mastery points, and the mastery exp.

to get the mastery point you need to capture them by communing a mastery insight, or by completing achievements.

to increase the mastery exp you need to do events/story according to the region of the mastery.

once you have enough mastery points for a particular mastery, and the mastery exp bar associated to it is full, you can have that mastery…

my suggestion is to focus on capturing the mastery points. the exp will come naturally by playing the game.

start with verdant brink —> auric basin --> dragon stand. note that i skipped tangled depth for later because the map can be confusing. the new LWS3 maps grant mastery points too, but most of them more or less require you to already have at least the basics of the masteries like updraft etc…

yeah, new track for ascended armor would be sufficient. or make use of current currencies, PoH, BoH, Karma etc etc. whichever, i don’t care. if pvp players can get almost full set within 3-7 days of casual play, so should wvw players.

it all goes back to the Living World Season one, where people who missed any of the chapter couldn’t do it AT ALL because they happened on the “Living World” , on the regular map. so they started complaining that they should be able to do them when they like, so Anet changed the Living World story model to the currently deployed instanced model.

this change of model require effort and cost, so they put a catch. if you log in during the period when the chapter is active you get to play it, for free, otherwise you can still play it but will have to pay for it. think of it as an incentive for you to login and play GW2.

Living World are not promised content in the core or expansion of the game. you get what you pay for. they are “added”, by the good will of Anet.

some precursors are more expensive with precursor crafting than buying on TP. however most of them are in the region of 100-200 cheaper than on TP.

for me , it is not worth it. made my shield precursor. the time taken to do the scavenger hunting does not justify the price difference. i can make more gold within the same period of scavenger hunting, and simply buy the precursor off the TP.

I always warn my guildies, unless you’re going for HoT Legendaries, just buy your precursor from TP.

I think the list of correction i have brought out would help it getting balanced.

1. Portals not allowed in wvw = only pve skill
or
2. Cool downs faster to cast the second portal in wvw limiting the range
or
3. Portals not working when this isn’t your keep
or
4. When the other side is outnumbered portals aren’t working

Simple but effective way to balance the entire bombing situation that is beyond trolling at this point.

make a mesmer yourself , and learn to play the mechanic.

actually, after playing it a while, i kinda like DBL….. absence of bloodlust is the only flaw there…

No harm in trying, but reading this thread from the previous sale, Ultimate Edition is exempt from “refund the difference” on purchases made upto 30 days prior to a sale, you also had to have bought standard/deluxe direct from Anet to also qualify for this.
You can refund an account purchase, but this closes the account permanently, since once you’re on a HoT account key, your original game key expires and is erased. There is no decoupling. Which is why Anet refunds the difference on standard/deluxe purchases upto 30days prior of a sale.

OP paid $100 chances are it’s Ultimate Edition, or he was scammed.

any purchase of GW2 qualify for refund if the request is made within 30-days of purchase. if you do that, they only revert your account to pre-HoT status, without wiping or resetting your account.

Bloodstone Fen Jade events are also good exp if you can hop map….
