i’m not surprised. even a laid back casual player like me have 8k gold and 8 legendaries, surely there are hard core power traders with hundreds K of gold…

my best result of clover gambling was when i crafted my Bolt. 80 clover from 11 tries (10-clover shot ). I was expecting to get T6 from it but got the clovers too fast lol…

simple rule :

old legendaries → buy precursor. some cost more to craft than buying direct from TP.

new legendaries → no option, craft them.

there was a period when you could make 1000g profit from selling The Flameseeker Prophecies, after tax. i made few thousands gold from that, utilizing the otherwise unused gift of exploration.

but that period is over now. still profitable, but not as lucrative as it used to be.

do it 1 clover at a time, to be in line with the 33% chance….

Doing map rewards for the appropriate maps. This addition is also why they have tanked in price over the past few months. With that being said, generally it is just best to buy the bulk of what you need.

that’s very subjective…. depends on how long your farming session is per day…. might take you more than a month, even if you do it everyday….

even the 10-year-old game like LOTRO have renderer options in the setting… not sure why GW2 can’t do it…..

yeah.. there is no problem with the Mystic Clover rate… made 16 legendaries here, on average 1 stack each of ectos, coins and obbys hards for 77 clover. more or less 1/3.

do it one at a time, so that it follows closely the 1-in-3 average rule.

only the new HoT legendaries are account bound on creation. the crafted precursor of old legendary can still be sold. i made one, so i know.

zo you did not make research bevore you cravt your precursor ?

SEA player here. been getting 1k ping since last week. whenever there are a lot of players the ping spikes to 5k. unplayable most of the time.

Anet need to get their game fixed.

is OP talking about the graphic culling setting ? if you want the standard model just set them to lowest/lowest , somewhere down the bottom of graphic setting…. you’ll see other player characters as standard placeholder.

since you mentioned The Chosen, i have to say that it is not as bad as people told. i crafted one, cost me around 350g, using the material i crafted myself including the ascended mats.

if you have to buy the ascended material right away, then it is different story….. could cost more than buying straight from TP.

the saving from crafting your precursor VS buying straight from TP would be around 100g-250g depending on the precursor itself. for The Chosen would be 100g difference. for The Legend i think it is around 200g.

if you love to experience the adventure, then go for precursor crafting. if you are more concern on the savings, then i say it is not worth it. the amount of time required to do the collection part could have earned you more gold for you to purchase direct from TP.

nowadays people do dungeon only to get the token for the legendary crafting….

Back when elite specs was 400 points, people complain they don’t have enough points to max out the elite specs. When the made it it 250 points people complain they have useless extra points.

worry more about getting the 112 Mastery Points for Maguuma Masteries… the exp will come along the way…. but if you must farm the exp quickly, do Dragon Stand meta. may mastery points there too.

i’m not sure if low level f2p character is allowed to get into LA, but if they are not this surely is a glitch for them to get there.

yup, use wardrobe to reskin the other weapon of the same type.

ok .. from anywhere in the game try this in sequence :

1) enter PVP lobby
2) from PVP lobby, enter your Guild Hall
3) leave the Guild Hall
4) leave the PVP lobby

… and you’ll be ported to the north area of Lions Arch. is this working as intended ? i can verify this works on my guildie’s f2p account low level character as well.

But for the perfected warhorn you need the salvage item of the experimental one (Spirit of the Howl Experiment)
And to recraft that one you need 10 elonian leathers and some other ascended mats.
That’s the path I want to avoid because it is so kitten expensive o.o.

for me, +80% duration (with food/crytals etc) is more than sufficient. no need +100%.

viper till +80%, then slot in sinisters.

just recraft the perfected warhorn using your crafter….

of course it is. it is basically a free trial (with restrictions).

i’ve seen people bought the game only to play it for the first few weeks and then left. so , f2p is a good place to basically just try the game, not really to enjoy it.

yeah , if you logon to the character with right crafting profession, you can reclaim the box from master crafter hobb.

happened to me. i got the box for the chosen experiment on my ele which doesn’t have weaponsmith. it says the box is account bound with 3 crafting profession on it so i opened the box with my ele, and kitten, when i logon to my warrior which is the weaponsmith the recipe is not on that character. kitten this kitten, so i leveled up weaponsmith on my ele to 450, spending 30+ gold, only to find out later that i can reclaim the box on my weaponsmith warrior by talking to master crafter hobb.

well, sometimes you learn a lesson a hard way…

this week farming spot for T6 Blood is in Malchorr’s Leap… come come…. get your T6 blood here… lots of events here as well..

well , may be Anet should sell the PvP only upgrade unlock in gemstore. unlock your desired new specialization (PvP only), for certain amount of gems.

the business model is like this : whenever a new expansion comes out, the previous game content (including expansions) will become a Core content and will become a “play for free” version.

veteran players will need to buy the new expansion to upgrade the game, and the new players simply have to buy the latest expansion to get all the latest game content.

if you transfer servers few times you are not qualified to talk about server loyalty…..

how about just do them , and then just pretend that your legendaries were crafted using those precursors you hunted.

you’re saying it as if it doesn’t replenish in supply. there are many people having multiple accounts, and are active. i know people who has 10 accounts that he bought during the 10$ offer. accounts like that rain mystic coins….

besides, everyday there are people making legendary weapon, is mystic coin in short supply, yet ?

But if they are anything like me, once I get something for one account, I have to get it for all the accounts
