Azizul, it is true that you can attune old rings. I also was able to attune both my zerker rings which I’ve had since before HoT

well, strange, because i could not attune mine.. it does not appear in the mystic forge selection….

so if you complete the set you get a lot of mastery xp ?

you have to use the ring obtained after the Fractured patch…. any ring prior to that doesn’t work….

because hero’s challenge completion is character bound….

i found gold flows in like water since HoT launch. crafting mats demand surges….

upgrades stay…. you only have to pay another100g, for LP expedition…..

of course i know the cost. that’s their point. gold sink.

strange enough. i got all the mastery points from the strongboxes.

probably they want you to use 2 pieces of +15AR infusion on each of the attuned ring….

is this the one totem on the tree branch ? just pick it up and move up by jumping on the rock ledges , past the beetle. make sure you have stability though, the beetle will knock you back and you’ll fall if you don’t.

for Basilisk venom ? yes !

i don’t see any problem with the apple tag. some people have the commander tag but still pop out apple tag from time to time. myself included.

earlier or later tier doesn’t really matter. people who have it usually finished the Pact Commander Mastery anyway…..

me. not completely but almost. i can count how many times i have been to wvw since HoT launch. guild needs upgrades. upgrades needs gold.

if you don’t like subs based game, GW2 is the best at the moment…

exp : by doing events and from kills (both on boosters)
mastery point : by doing the story, achievements and mastery insight.

how do they do it so quickly ? dedication…..

EDIT : forgot. i’m on level 91 mastery, with 24 mastery point still available to spend. now working on ley-line gliding.

Grinding Mobs for exp is bad in this game, dont do it. The using xp boosters for events is much more effective way of getting xp.

not necessarily, xp boosters on spider farm in Verdant Brink gives more exp vs any event, given the same amount of time….. i was getting 3.9k exp per kill

It’s not really wasted.

First, you need to extract the old +5 versatile infusion with the new infusion extractor (~25 silver from fractals NPC).

And then you need to buy the new +7 versatile infusions, which costs one +5 versatile infusion, and other currency.

no. of points needed for Central Tyria Mastery = 49

many already have more than 50 mastery points having played the games 3 years already.

and they leveled up the mastery with CoF. i did.

good question. because, if you are already 80, it can’t go towards PvE (Central Tyria/Maguuma) mastery xp since they are separate system.

if you’re under 80, then yes, it would go towards leveling up your character.

WvW already have it years back…. siege mastery etc….

look at your achievement panel, under Heart of Thorns. look at the section Mastery Insight.

if it is done, it is marked green on your map. not done is marked grey.

i don’t undestand why they switched the Coztic Champ Hero’s Challenge location in Verdant Brink but made the old location as commune only. now there is one less event-based hero’s challenge. no more daily 26k exp from that Hero’s Challenge.

did CoF farming last weekend. my booster was :
- +100% (birthday boster)
- +50% all game mode (can’t remember the name, last 2 hours, also adds +10% from killstreak )
- +50% (XP booster, last 30m iirc)
- +15% (Strawberry Ghost)

got around 1200+ exp per kill. then, again we had runner that fast spawning the mobs. took me almost 12 hours to max Tyria mastery, more or less, because i took break once in a while. i had 52 mastery point at HoT launch due to being achievement kitten in the past.

just remove EoTM, or make them available to a player ONLY IF all 4 maps are queued for the player’s server. then you’ll see WvW revived. until then ,dedgaem.

so i bought an extractor from the fractal NPC, just to try it out, but when the extraction panel appear, one warning scared me of i.e. “The item will be bound to the character after extraction” as shown in the picture attached.

what does this mean ? the ascended ring will be soul-bound to the character ? wtf, ascended ring will be soul-bound ? or the infusions ? i didn’t dare to click “extract” because i feared that i would soul-bind the ring lol.

even after they removed the empty room near Crea, CoF P1 remains the favorite dungeon to many players…

the HP requirement is fine, but the gating to get to the Hero’s Challenge is not. why must anyone have ley line mastery to get to a golem ?

basically some people complain because their full zerker gear set is now obsolete in HoT map….

i have 8 lvl 80. each with 100% Central Tyria map completion, and 10/11 Verdant Brink Hero’s Challenge completed. now moving on to Auric Basin. 1 character already got 7/11.
