They are still in Kaineng, but almost all of them quit or took a break. You will still see them around but very few and scattered.

i was about to answer they transferred off SBI to Kaineng, which is still true….. lol

well i say since winning is not really the major interest on BG and SOR part (that’s from what i read) , why not just 2v1 JQ for fun, just to annoy them, you know, friendly poke….

last time i got my temple exotic accessories, i guested to TC because at the time it was not opened in Kaineng… to be honest i rarely see temple opened in Kaineng…. i know this because i mine orichalcum everyday so i pass through all these areas…. you probably should to try JQ for that….

So what’s happening with Kaineng? I just noticed that.

Looks like they could potentially switch with DB in 2 weeks and then there would be 2 T2/T3 transition servers again.

here’s is what happens :

1. WM taking a break
2. TC and FA received new transfers (especially TC, they got transfer from CD, 3 guilds)
3. Our SEA/Oceanic crew are a little burnt out (putting long hours to cover EU/NA)

…. we’re not falling apart, but those 3 factors combined make us the weakest force in T2 at the moment. until we get EU/NA reinforcement to balance out the TC new transfers, i personally consider us not really fit to be in T2. for me, WvW is not about a race to T1, it is about finding the right tier to be in. if T3 is where we truly belong at the moment, so be it….

….. so Db, if you think you’re ready for T2, this is your time…. …

go on DB, you’re on the right track to replace Kain in T2 next week.. do not slip up…

well.. looks like we are heading for T3 next week.. at least, a tier where it would be fair to our NA crew, and the Oceanics would not have to worry about PPT game…..

Google how much AMD opteron/Intel Xeon cost (especially the faster models). Then realize this game doesn’t have subscription. Where do you think they find this amount of money for 50 servers? I’m afraid it won’t happen. The problem is just to small for Arenanet to pay this much money for. (with small i mean, for me i get this skill lag for about 5-10% on a global scale, although some days are really bad, like weekend).

You need to take a math course. ANet has sold 3 million copies of the game at an average price of at least $50. I don’t honestly know how many hardware servers ANet runs to handle all the various realms, but we’re probably talking something on the order of 1% of sales even to totally replace them with top end hardware. The ability lag may indeed be due to insufficient hardware, but I’d bet that the barrier to fixing it has far more to do with the software side … game engine or whatever software they use to merge server capacity for WvW (which they in fact do). Either that or the active WvW population is so low relative to the rest of GW2 that Anet has decided even 1% of sales isn’t worth it to keep us around.

you forgot the monthly overhead cost of maintaining the server man, especially the electricity…. running a managed service is not a easy and cheap as people thought….

level cap..? hopefully not. leave the level cap alone. they should focus on content development and improving WvW.

every time a level cap is raised, players will have to grind their new gears to keep up with the level. gear grind = bad decision —> losing players. believe me.

i really don’t mind if they cost 500 badges + certain amount of gold…..

the more i play mesmer, the more i see that confusion is not OP as people say, in fact it is almost useless against a good player….

i raised this “rezzing through gate issue before” and Devon said they are looking into it…

yeah it is a normal seen now where you can see a mesmer purposely die near gate, so that their friend can rezz them later, and take the structure (tower/keep/smc) without resistance….

few weeks ago i foreseen we would start losing…. it happened…

last week i foreseen few CD guilds would join TC…… it happened…

……. i’m now foreseeing we would purposely drop to tier 3 where the coverage is much more fairer to us (no EU, weak NA) . TC in T2 now is like JQ in T1. it would be so tiring for Oceanics to carry KN, just like TC NA was tired of carrying their server they had to get help from CD SEA/Oceanic…..

The Crystal Desert guilds haven’t even moved over to TC yet.

What you’re seeing is what TC has always been like. We fight just as hard on a Wednesday and Thursday as we do on reset nights. However we have almost always seen a reduced number of opponents as the week goes on from other servers.

Our numbers haven’t increased over the week… yours have simply decreased. Nothing we can do about that.

Yes, NAGA, EsF and Awe will be on Tarnished Coast – we are bringing a small army, so expect to see our tags again. We’ve been promised a challenge out there in WvW and fully expect to engage in some brutal WvW action.

(And I don’t know why people seem so interested in spreading around misinformation – in order to be a “mercenary” you actually have to turn a profit. Most of these guilds that are transferring are going to lose money in doing so.)

if you have multiple characters in 80, try farming T6 nodes (ori/omnom/ancient wood).. they are not in same place all the time ! their location get changed at reset !
