Thieves deserve to have the best stealth ingame because the whole class is centered around stealth while mesmers are centered around illusions.

But no profession should deal damage from stealth without being revealed.

I assume you’re referring to illusions doing damage and not revealing the stealthed mesmer?

Dont have any answer, I also would like to learn about duration stacking of daze/stun for my shatter lock build.

afaik increasing on stun/daze duration is more suited for lock builds, would do less for interrupt builds. you cant interrupt an enemy that is dazed/stunned.

You are actually aiming for a nerf on PU, not how to counter builds with PU.

You can contact Anet directly, tell them your stories and maybe we will get a nerf on PU on next class balance patch.

Tanky class cant do it in a minute. Those NPC heals for about 15% of their HP at 25%health. Any class focused on offense can do the job fast.

Its more of a, i’ve tried several mantra builds and concluded its not feasible for wvw roaming.

Dont get me wrong, I see so much potential on mantra’s + GS interruptions so I am trying to help polish the build (by criticism that is).

Turn off post processing, reflections and in game FXAA. Use native rendering, other settings you can set to high/ultra. Makes the game much better looking for me.

Adjust AA settings in Nvidia panel to polish jagged egdes. Im using the same card + i5 and having 30-35 fps in zerg.

Factory overclocked cards are good as it is. You may overclock them but the increase in performance you can achieve is minimal.

OT: First you need to determine what is causing your black screen.
1) Could be your 4gb RAM if you are multitasking, browser etc.
2) Your 700W generic PSU might be failing because of low efficiency or ageing.
3) GW2 is very CPU intensive, your AMD might be struggling to run the game.

The mentality that precursors are so hard to get is what making the prices go high. It really puzzles me why players buy an overpriced precursor when you can enjoy the thrill of gambling at MF.

The problem with mantra is you are wasting 3sec in combat. Maybe that’s too short for you but in wvw roaming, time is of the essence.

You have 5 interrupts at 24/24/45 CD. MoD with 5sec CD after using a charge. Im wondering if your landing 2/3 interruptions on fights and killing fellow roamer.

Yeah… O really want the rarity change on my Salvage-o-Matic.

As I said in the post concerning this kit, this was a Dirty Marketing strategy.

Before the sale, they changed the rarity to Rare and the kit salvages like that of Rare/Mystic kit although description is that of Basic kit. This change would entice players to buy the discounted kit.

I believe that thread was also made by Anet for advertisement. A proof is not needed as they choose to be silent (ya, silence means yes, this was a marketing tactic).

I doubt they will make announcement on January, they have nothing to brag about 2013 nor revelation of pre crafting.

Based on their patch patterns, they will introduce new legendaries (trinkets/armors/new weapons) in-game in Q3/Q4 of 2014.

I tried a pure mantra build but got bored charging mantra’s.

Charging mantra’s mid combat is a big waste of time.
Without PU, those stealth are not enough to charge 2-3 mantras.
Illusions also wont help since they know the real mesmer.

A burst mantra build that wont require to recharge mantra in combat would be awesome. But that would require some serious reflex.

This is why I dislike reading forums (but… I have so much free time in office)

Thoughts of the obvious keep pounding in my head, reminding me not to spend money in-game.

Things happening in-game are influenced/controlled by gaming companies. They also manipulate things to some degree.

AFAIK Endless wintersday tonics are only craft-able in Mystic Forge.

The required mats are constant but success is not guaranteed, RNG.

I didnt read the whole thread, Im casting my vote based on my experience.

As a casual pve player, the season 1 is a great success. I play 2-3hrs a day, maybe 10hrs on a dayoff and I managed to complete the achievements. Aside from the season achievements, I am loving the whole wvw experience. Wvw gave me new goals to work on, inspires me to get better everyday, coordinate with other player etc…

Im sure Anet will learn from this season and improve upcoming season.

Hi, I’m interested in joining your guild mission runs. Your timing is ok with me, I am in Dubai, 3pm EST = 11pm here.

I have work so I can play 4-5 hrs a day only and maybe 10 hrs on day-off. My timings would be ranging from 10am-4pm EST.
