IMO you should be able to see squad dots, OR have the option to see GUILD members on the map. (Orange dots, like with names.) Would be nice. On GW1, we saw everyone. I just want to see guildies!

The 5 man party size is the reason I cannot understand why people take such serious offense at ‘PvE Commanders’. I am a guild leader, and we use Squads for bounties, and other GUILD events since, we have no other option. When you see Commanders in PvE, go a little easier on them, sometimes its necessary, and the best option for doing things TOGETHER as a guild. =)

I dont know.. IMO there are already WAY too many back items. Charrs, Quaggans, Wings, Birdcages, Roses, Tentacle…things….

I wish townclothes were ultra rare drops!!! THAT would be incredible! The gorgeous NPC dresses, and clothing as EXOTIC townclothes drops. <3

Yeah, I dislike the hologram crap. If anything, make the hologram projector a permanent thing on one of the tall rocks, or elsewhere, and give us back the fountain. I loved it during beta, and I miss it.

I know someone who was banned for using it. They said a ‘3rd party program’ and that was the ONLY one they had running. So… use at your own risk. =)

Ha! I find more people being hostile TO farmers, than event farmers griefing people. Honestly, how many invasions CAN YOU POSSIBLY do and ENJOY before you get bored and it turns into a farm fest.

A solution would have been to make an item we NEEDED the pieces for to attain. The shoulder skins were not overly attractive, and, everyone ended up with multiple pairs dropping, so we really didn’t NEED to beat Scarlet to GAIN anything since the payoff is BETTER loot-wise if you farm Aethers. Lets face it. Sure you can beat her and get 2-3 more things…. but… Pirate champs are more fun, and more profitable.

I was playing to win, but after the crazy number I NEEDED for achieves, farming is the only way to make the invasions ‘enjoyable’ at this point.

I will again say though – there are MORE people harassing farmers than the other way around.

I do miss GW1 gifts and the FUN part of now knowing what you will get. That was IMO kind of awesome, and made birthdays worth looking forward to. Maybe Jenna will eventually be forgable? We can drop her in with Risen Priests and get mini Risen Jennas? <Ponders….. EPIC!!!

=I If you had footprints, you can hardly complain about Dreamer needing an update. OTHER than the shooting effects, it had NOTHING.

Dreamer does not have AoE effects. =I It has shooting effects. Thats it. Period.

Dreamer NEEDS something else. An Aura. Footsteps. Right now, its a mediocre skin, with decent shooting effects. Even Kudzu has shooting effects and footsteps. Cmon Anet. DREAMER NEEDS SOMETHING MORE!!

Same. I posted in bugs. Ive done 6 invasions on different maps. Finished each. Got credit for ONLY TWO. What a waste of time.

Yep. I just did ANOTHER in Frostgorge. NO credit for ANY Meta events. This should be looked into – with an event lasting almost an HOUR, this is my THIRD with no credit given. SO frustrating.

IM SO hoping we have enough daily catagories to complete the meta, because Im frustrated and DONE with these.

I completed THREE Scarlett events in DIFFERENT zones in overflows. NOT ONE counted towards the meta achievement, and YES, she was defeated. With an already FRUSTRATINGLY GRINDY event that is sadly for hardcore players… (not us casual ones with work, etc) this is unacceptable and VERY annoying.

Please Anet, unbug these. Im not the only person complaining about this issue, its being talked about and COMPLAINED about everywhere.

Please please, all you sheeple farm the heck out of them so the weapon prices drop and I can get mine cheap and without hours of effort. Woot.

Im tired of people guesting on multiple servers and camping Frequently spawning champs. These people are USUALLY the diehard farmers and have HORRIBLE trolly attitudes. PLEASE A COOLDOWN ON SERVER JUMPS. (I know, I know… only 2 GUESTED servers at a time, but make a COOLDOWN time between CHANGING to those servers!)

People are killing. But the Guesting feature ABUSE makes it NOT fun for people ON a home server.

I only titled this topic “Guesting Cooldown?? Ch Farm Trolling” because “Guesting Cooldown – Champion Farming Bringing out the worst in people” was too long…

Wow… all I can say is that something needs to happen with Guesting in light of this new Champion Update.

On HoD if you are running around hitting champions, you WILL find a group of ‘Guesting players’ camping any given popup champ. They kill it, don’t offer the common courtesy of mentioning its up, and then IMMEDIATELY jump to another guested server for that SAME champion.

Why not have a cooldown period of HOW often you can jump to another server?

The problem is NOT these people farming, its the attitudes they bring with them. They let people die, often aggro ON PURPOSE to kill off people, they do not res other people, they troll in chat, etc etc etc.

It brings out the worst IN people, or, alternately, it just brings the WORST people out.

A cooldown time between server guesting jumps would help. No ’Kill champion. Change server. Kill champion. Change Server. Repeat, repeat, repeat….

Please… do something… I’m not the only one noticing, or complaining. Its ugly out there, when it USED to be fun! =(

Too many back items, not enough town clothes. I’d have been happier with a new Townclothes item than more and more and more back covers.

They need to update several. IMO It sucks that the work you put into ANY Legendary isn’t rewarded with shared effects. (ALL should have Aura/Footsteps) I mean, Dreamer has great firing effects, but lets face it – the skin SUCKS in itself, and it has no aura, nor footsteps.

C’mon Anet! Show the OTHER non-greatsword Legendaries some love!

I just think that with a less than stellar SKIN CoughDreamerCough they SHOULD have effects….

Wasn’t it clear? Improved particle effects on some of the Legendaries. Some are favored. Some are lacking. How did you miss that as my suggestion?

Some Legendaries are complete and have excellent MULTIPLE varying effects, but others are sadly lacking.

The Dreamer has outstanding ‘shooting’ effects, but nothing else to make up for a less than spectacular skin??

Flissy – you just proved my point. You don’t know what a good ranger can do, since you’ve obviously never played with one. The good ones DO NOT play the way you describe. =) Nice try. Find a good ranger. Team up. Stop being so unfairly biased towards the profession before you know whakittens all about.

I want my Swimsuit. The hats would have been cool during Wintersday, but.. our living story is set ON A BEACH. !?!?!? Sigh… good move. Release the Swimsuits right as Southsun is going to become an afterthought again.

Yeah – I bought it and am disappointed. I wanted a kitten. Not a malformed giant cat. EVERYONE in Lions Arch calls it ugly as it is… this was the most awaited of the set, and now its become the most disappointing. =( If it was little, it would be cute. But the size it is now makes it pretty unappealing.

Flissy needs to play with some good rangers apparently! Ive never seen such a bad attitude towards a profession.

Im always welcome in groups – and my primary is a ranger. Ive NEVER had anyone complain, or have issues with my damage or playstyle.

I do love how people blame all fail’s on rangers though – when its not always the case. LOL “We suck, blame the ranger!” Yeah… these groups usually suck WITH or WITHOUT the ranger – while a good ranger can help dramatically!

One of our guild members was banned for botting – this is a person who talks with guild members regularly, and who I have personally played with in GW/GW2 for over 3+ years.

He was WITH another member at the time, talking and farming during the new Southsun content, and was banned for ‘Botting’ – which, he ABSOLUTELY was not doing.

He IS running the game on dialup, and I personally wonder if his connection speeds had something to do with his being mistaken as a bot.

Who would I contact, or what should be referenced to have someone personally look into this? This person is a LONGTIME GW player and a valuable member of our guild as well as a good friend. We are all VERY upset and sad that he was tagged as such, as, we all know otherwise.

I’d appreciate knowing the best way to follow up on this – as myself and many of our guildies are very upset and sad over this recent news. Please advise!

(I am the guild leader, and the entire guild was interested in knowing what WE can do to help fix this obvious misunderstanding.)

Wow people are rude. Why wouldnt this be fun? Its all in WHY you play the game. I feel Ascended crap is a waste and would rather have the fun stuff first. Not a waste at all. I can get Ascended crap from Fractals… crafting… etc. Meh. Ill take the fun things that make GW unique.

=I Because when you FINALLY get to your home server – there admittedly ARE people guesting. If its NOT guesting – something STILL needs to be done, so your post is still highly irrelevant. Im talking about SPECIFIC dragon events particularly. Its only gotten bad since the guesting has started…. EVEN IF its people FROM the server – something HAS to be done, since events are basically no longer playable, OR enjoyable.

I dont know about anyone else – but its fairly plain to see that guesting and the guaranteed rare drops from chests is HURTING players on their OWN servers.

The last few dragon events Ive ‘attempted’ to go to have been immediate drops into overflow on Henge of Denravi. When you get to the event IF you get to the event – you are surrounded by unfamiliar faces and guesters. (Along with horrible lag and disconnects.)

Funny enough, I didnt notice these issues until guesting started….

Its getting to where doing large events in a team on your HOME server is near impossible if you want to actually… enjoy it… or GET there.

Anet – you need to do something about these issues. I know its not just me – every event has people discussing this in mapchat before and after.

I dont like any of them personally. The bows look like they were both designed for 12 year old girls. (Flowers and ponies?? Cmon!) They all look like Gemstore novelty purchase weapons, IMO.

It was crazy there last night. The boss was one-shotting Guardians. =O The crazy lag from guesting doesn’t help.

I agree. Lag now makes it virtually unplayable at major events when these used to be something my guild looked forward to gathering at.

I hate dodges, and I hate WvW so thats not the answer for everyone. I go to Queensdale and always with Guildies. When Im standing for my 40 second dodge completion in the middle of about 10 moas I obviously aggro’d and am running in circles from while a guildie watches on, I think its safe to say I don’t need the help. LOL

Im amazed at how some players don’t see the obvious. Ill be there and see someone run over with the whole “ILL SAVE YOU FROM THOSE HOARDES OF USUALLY NON AGGRESSIVE BIRDS YOU ARE DODGING REPEATEDLY FROM!” Facepalm.

However, I usually say “Im doing dodges!” before they get TOO close. LOL

Its very heroic, just kind of annoying when you just want it DONE. =)

I was looking over Mesmer again trying to decide if I should re-roll and if I re-roll, which light profession should I move to. I have enough medium armor ones, and am not a fan of heavy armor on females, so… Necro or Ele might be more my forte. Its a shame, I loved Mesmer in GW1 SO much.

I think possibly Mesmer may be more fun for those who play WvW or PvP. I dont do either, so I hear many of the best builds are much less effective in PvE. Well – that seems to be the rumor anyways….

Kanto – I think I havent put much time into build due to my not enjoying playing the profession. I never even unlocked the second book because I was that unsure I was going to keep this character. XD Ive been trying it out, plodding along half-heartedly.
I LOVED playing Mesmer in GW1. This is NOT GW1. I do not like this version of the Mesmer at this point.

I think my issue is that I absolutely hate the clones. I don’t like the idea of them, and I hate using them. They feel like a silly novelty. I would like the class if not for those – but, I really just cannot stand them.

I SOO wish they were weapon linked so you could choose to use them as skills, or, not. In Engie, you can CHOOSE how to do your damage, but in Mesmer I feel forced to use a play device I do not enjoy. I don’t like the concept, the animation, or the execution.

Maybe due to that alone, I need to re-roll, but I always hold out hope Anet might give us the option for a clone-free build, which, I know, is a pipe dream.

Maybe Ill try this. As it is, Im stuck at level 50 because Im so bored playing my mesmer. SOOOO SLLOOOOWWW. Sigh. =(
